Greg Winfield: Whatever You Say (Wip)

This show is a masterclass of improvised moments of “genius” (Matt Lucas), found on the roadside of a comedy journey heading somewhere no one else will take you. Jojo Maberly - Angst & Angstability
Award-winning musical comedian JoJo Maberly (BBC One, BBC Radio 4, BBC Three) grew up in the sticks. So she became obsessed with sticks, and then, naturally, she became obsessed with Ewan McGregor. In this innocently unhinged show, JoJo takes us through the multiple obsessions she has conquered and surrendered to during her embarrassingly angsty teenage years in rural England. With 'witty and unexpected' (Chortle) songs on her guitar, and what can only be described as tortured wails through her loop pedal, JoJo crafts crude jokes 'while somehow maintaining an endearing innocence' showing 'likeability and talent in equal measure' (FunnyWomen.com), and 'impressive musical chops' (BeyondTheJoke). JoJo is the winner of the inaugural Bristol Comedy Competition 2025 and the Best Newcomer prize at the Musical Comedy Awards 2023. She has written for BBC Radio 4, and her standup has been featured as part of the BBC New Comedy Awards on BBC Three. JoJo's first ever comedy gigs were with Locally Sourced, so she is extremely excited to be performing at the Exeter Comedy Festival this year.

Bonsense!..is comedy nonsense from our Bonces. What to expect... “Mimi is the charming high-energy queen of musical satire and Larry merges hysterical observational comedy with high drama. This show is going to be giddy and possibly a bit unhinged, like an episode of ‘Blue Peter’, written and directed by Guy Ritchie.” Ed Tripp If you fancy a good laugh come along or if your feeling a little masochistic and want to see a man shoved into a cardboard box with 50 sharpened spears shot through him... that’s in it too! Mimi won Cornwall Comedian of the Year 2022 on just her third gig. She discovered she loves making people smile, so she kept going. With her ukulele, she mixes her ditties with stand-up, sharing sharp but playful observations. Expect charm, chuckles, and possibly a singalong you weren’t prepared for.
