Nordic Giants

Nordic Giants

1 Apr 2026 - 11 Apr 2026

Hunting down the elusive Nordic Giants is about as easy as tracking down the truth of the legend in the Blair Witch Project. Hidden behind feathered masks, demonic looking costumes and effortlessly changing between many instruments, nobody is fully aware of their true identity and their ritualistic pre show preparations of body painting and donning feathered masks and animal skins is nothing short of shamanistic. The mysterious duo perform live soundtracks to a backdrop of award winning short films which do not shy away from dealing with poignant and dark subject matters. Dreamy ambient swells, epic builds and huge moments of power overwhelm their captivated audiences who describe the experience as something akin to a religious experience.

A final compilation The Worst Of Acid Reign was released and their brief but highly productive career came to an end. Since returning from a 24-year absence the band featuring original vocalist Howard H Smith, Pete Dee (bass), Paul Chanter (guitar), Marc Jackson (drums) and Cooky (guitar) have been busy. On the back of two new songs Plan Of The Damned and The Man Who Became Himself they hit the road both at home and throughout Europe for numerous tours and festival appearances. Including the now legendary record-breaking headline slot of the Sophie Stage at Bloodstock 2016. During this time, they have earned themselves a fearsome live reputation, famous for its high energy, mass stage diving and violent pits. Reeling off old school classics from their back catalogue they have become a must-see act. With a new album already recorded their time to reign has come again.
