Gloryuss Live In London

Gloryuss Live In London

5 Jul 2025 - 5 Jul 2025

Gotobeat is excited to present GLORYUSS live at The Finsbury in Finsbury Park on Saturday, July 5th. GLORYUSS - Born & bred in North London, independent rapper & songwriter Gloryuss is one of the fastest growing acts emerging from the capital. Catchy flows, fun quirky sounds & solid song structures are all traits of the young rapper; merging UK Garage and Rap. From a mixed background, he has incorporated his heritage’s sound on a surface level but looks to do this further in the near future. Zarina Kazi - As a British Pakistani woman, Zarina often found herself navigating complex cultural crossroads. In moments where language and identity fell short, music became her compass - a raw, expressive force through which she voiced her fears, dreams, and quiet triumphs. It led her not just to others, but back to herself. Influenced by artists like Amy Winehouse, Adele, Billie Eilish, and Jorja Smith, Zarina creates music that dwells in the spaces between - between joy and sorrow, strength and vulnerability, tradition and reinvention. Her sound is as much about emotion as expression - a lyrical compass for those finding their way back to themselves. Presented by Gotobeat Ltd. This is an 18+ event

Oyama

Oyama

27 Sept 2025 - 27 Sept 2025

Oyama is a five-piece shoegaze/indie collective from Reykjavik who has just released their second full-length album Everyone Left, which finds Oyama strikes a balance between elusive reality and tangible dreams. Their new album has a contemplative vibe and shares thematic threads with its predecessor; their idiosyncratic songwriting earning recognition from leading music media. As KEXP's Jim Beckmann noted "Sharing a name with the relatively small Japanese central city, \[the band\] has grown into a sonic metropolis of multiple influences, from psychedelic to ambient." Featuring guitarist Alison MacNeil from cult Icelandic-Canadian math rock unit Kimono, Oyama creates a sound that combines a steady urban pulse with serenity, and with guitar delay causing ripples on the sonic pond, their sound is truly immersive. Tracks were recorded at Sundlaugin studio of Sigur Rós and mixed by Árni Hjörvar Árnason (The Vaccines). Presented by Turtle Tempo. This is an 18+ event

First Day Of Spring are a 6 piece from london that are reminiscent of Spiritualized’s cosmic songwriting in places, while also having the sharp-edged immediacy of the bands of the New York Manhattan scene of the early 2000's'. Not Doris, a London-based band, fuses shoegaze, dream pop and krautrock influences with ethereal vocals over shimmering guitar riffs and cinematic keyboards. Presented by Turtle Tempo.
