BEAR - Live @ The Flapper [w/ Fluoxetine & The Spoils]
BEAR is a heavy music project built around volume, physicality, and presence. Blending crushing metal with theatrical performance, BEAR focuses on how music feels in a room not lore, not symbolism, not distance from the audience. This first live show is about impact: dense riffs, deliberate pacing, and a performance that leans into tension, repetition, and release. The mask isnt a character to understand its a way to strip things back, remove expectation, and let the music and movement do the work. August 1st at The Flapper marks the starting point. No mythology, no initiation, no required context. Just a loud, confrontational debut built for people who want heavy music that feels intentional and unfiltered. The Flapper, Birmingham

Sabbra Cadabra

Sabbra Cadabra

5 Jul 2026 - 23 Oct 2026

Now they have a few gigs behind them, the word is that Sabbra Cadabra sound as close to the real thing as any band can. They play early ‘Ozzy Era’ Sabbath and they play it with conviction and determination. Mick Child-Cavill cuts a waif-like figure, channelling all his energy in to any one of his Gibson SG guitars; he even resembles Tony Iommi. The rest of the band don’t even try to look like their counterparts, but they will take you back to that crazy place in time where Rock and Blues gave birth to Metal ,and Black Sabbath left their indelible mark on music. Phil Cavill’s distinctive vocals cut through the riffs like Moses parting the Red Sea. The rhythm section of Pat Scott and Phil Gilbert underpin the Cavill Brothers with precision and perfect timing. Changing from doom laden lines, to crazy fills to jazzy runs, often in one song, shows how getting the ‘feel’ for Sabbath demands more than just reproducing the notes and words. Sabbra Cadabra is the culmination of two brothers’ life-long devotion to one band and years of rehearsing to ensure they reproduce that unique sound in its original format. You won’t be disappointed.
