Liqueur

Liqueur

23 May 2026 - 3 Oct 2026

Liqueur - a tribute to The Cure The idea of forming a Cure tribute band was first jokingly discussed over more than a few beers in the summer of 2006. The original idea was to be a food and drink-based tribute band, given The Cures reputation as enthusiastic drinkers and lovers of a good curry! Hours of fun ensued fooding up Cure songs and albums, including such gems as Piemary, A Forest Gateaux, Quiche me Quiche Me Quiche Me and Seventeen Seconds (can you see what we did there?). However once sober, it was decided that a more traditional tribute route should be taken if we ever wanted to play to an audience without getting food thrown at us! However, the throwaway name, Liqueur, seemed to stick. Original Liqueur members, Mark (drums), Daz (bass) and Chris (Guitar/Vocals) were seasoned veterans of the Norfolk music scene and had previously all played together in a mid 90s Britpop band, Betty Ford. Although not intentional (sic), we were often referred to as a Blur tribute band, thus making the transition to another tribute band relatively straightforward. What makes Liqueur special is the fact that we all like The Cure; weve been fans since we were kids (I would calculate the accumulative fan years we hold but I dont have enough fingers, and hailing from Norfolk, thats really saying something!). Reproducing the songs is the easy part, we want to look, sound, eat and drink The Cure, therefore we try to use the same equipment as the band wherever we can (thank you eBay and Barclaycard!) and the look and feel of our gigs is very important to us. When we play a gig.we are The Cure and we want you to feel like you are watching The Cure. Special guests: Reptile House - a tribute to Sisters Of Mercy Expect plenty of smoke, black and shades.

A tribute to “The Greatest Rock’n’Roll Band” the world has seen, focusing on the early part of their career from 1964-1969 including “Jumping Jack Flash”, “Paint It Black”, “Not Fade Away”, & “Satisfaction”. Enthusiastic fans rate the band very highly and those from the Stones inner circle liked them so much, they booked them for a band member’s birthday party! The costumes are shamelessly camp gaudy and fab, the instruments genuinely vintage and the wit irreverent. However, while the tongue is never far from the cheek, it is never to the detriment of the music.
Jesus Jones

A British alternative rock outfit from Bradford-on-Avon in Wiltshire, Jesus Jones' kinetic mix of samples, pop, dance, and techno resulted in one huge international hit single, "Right Here, Right Now." While their popularity faded in the early 2000s, they continued to perform and record, albeit sporadically, with their sixth studio long-player, Passages, arriving in 2018 after a lengthy hiatus.

Davy Knowles

Davy Knowles

7 Jun 2026 - 17 Jun 2026

The journey began for Davy Knowles growing up in the Isle of Man, learning to play guitar from listening to the likes of Gallagher, Clapton, Knopfler, Green and Mayall in his father's record collection, and honing his skills playing the local music circuit. Knowles's professional career started with a bang arriving in America age 19 with his band Back Door Slam, an acclaimed debut album, and rave reviews at SXSW 2007. (I heard the spirit of Jimi Hendrix -- Patrick MacDonald, Seattle Times). From that dynamic introduction, Knowles proceeded to make a significant impact across US media from memorable TV performances on Jimmy Kimmel and Good Morning America, to a three year run at radio with the singles 'Come Home' from the debut album Roll Away and 'Tear Down the Walls' and 'Coming Up For Air' from the Peter Frampton produced sophomore album both albums Top 3 Billboard Blues Chart. Davy already has a recognizable style. He's definitely the gunslinger guitarist of the 21st century,'' Peter Frampton A relentless 4 year tour regime followed for Knowles in support of his albums, taking in legendary festivals Lollapalooza, Memphis In May, Bonnaroo, and Austin City Limits and headlining shows at The Troubadour, Red Rocks, World Cafe and The Iridium. He also toured with Jeff Beck, Buddy Guy, The Who, Warren Haynes, George Thorogood, Peter Frampton, Joe Bonamassa, Kid Rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Rhythm Devils, and the Satriani/Hagar inspired supergroup Chickenfoot. It's an incredible, inspiring education to play with musicians and artists of that caliber DK. Other highlights from this period include playing live to Astronauts on the ISS from mission control in Houston one of only a handful of artists to be invited to do so three tours of the UK and Europe and numerous international festivals including Jakarta, Tokyo, and Perth, Australia. In 2011 Knowles's song Reach Higher was the official anthem for the Youth Commonwealth Games, and in 2012 his 'birthday' tribute to Woody Guthrie a stunning electric version of Pastures of Plenty was released in aid of WhyHunger? In 2014 as Ambassador for the Isle of Man's Year of Culture he played the International Celtic Festival in Lorient, France, and that same year began filming the documentary Island Bound tracking the migration of Celtic and European folk music with the early settlers to the British Colonies. With input from a host oflocal Manx and international artists, including Richard Thompson and Martin Simpson, Davy demonstrates how this music was preserved and passed down through generations, evolving into Bluegrass, Folk, Country and Americana and ultimately influencing the blues and rock music of today. From the very start Knowles earned the respect of fans, media and musicians alike, including some of his own musical heroes such as the aforementioned Peter Frampton, Joe Satrianni, and Warren Haynes. British Blues Legend, Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake, Moody Marsden Band) is another fan - Davy Knowles continues to amaze me he's still so young and yet he plays, writes and sings with such maturity. He's immersed himself in the styles of many great players and has emerged with his own brand, playing with a smile on his face. He's a rare bird, one I will continue to watch and study. Throughout this musical journey, Knowles has kept 'the blues' close to his heart; I love the guitar as an instrument, it's so versatile and endlessly challenging, but whilst I will try play any style to meet that challenge, blues is the music I first fell in love with, and I have always connected deeply with it. I enjoy playing the historian, and am fascinated by all facets of the genre, from the earliest field recordings, to the more recent guitar gods that electrified and supercharged this music. It's from all along this timeline that I like to draw influence from.

In 1999 the group began as a covers band playing a varied repertoire of current and classic anthems. The set included several Stereophonics tracks and it soon became apparent that Shane had the same vocal range and a similar voice to Kelly Jones. So in the summer of 2000 they decided to venture into the world of tribute bands and Replicaphonics were born! They mastered the large catalogue of Stereophonics songs and began to perform live on a regular basis, even playing a fantastic gig at the Working Man's Club in Cwmaman, Wales; where the Stereophonics played their first ever live show, due to it being Kelly, Richard and Stuart's home town! They had the great pleasure of being joined onstage by Stuart Cable Stereophonics former drummer - which was a personal highlight for the band. They received many compliments that evening regarding the performance, even being told that Shane sounds like Kelly by Mrs Jones herself! They continued to perform over the years and became renowned for providing great entertainment that could not be rivalled unless you had an audience with the band themselves.

Renowned for an endless string of soulful yet socially aware hits 'Forgotten Town', 'Ideal World', 'Born Again', 'Harvest for the World', 'What’s in a Word', 'Hooverville', 'Words', 'Father', 'The Bottle' and many more The Christians enjoyed huge acclaim in the late 80s and early 90s both in the UK and Europe and often confused people with their band name (in fact just the brothers’ surname with absolutely no religious connotation!) Still headed by enigmatic lead singer Garry Christian (who very much deserves The Daily Mirror’s description of him as having ‘one of the finest voices in pop’) who has only gained in vocal stature (and wit) over the years!
John Otway Band

John Otway Band

16 Oct 2026 - 16 Oct 2026

John Otway Band Rock veteran John Otway dubbed himself rocknroll's greatest failure after many unsuccessful attempts to produce a second hit single to follow his 1977 classic (Cor Baby, That's) Really Free with Wild Willy Barrett. However, a mere quarter century later, he was back on Top of The Pops with the wonderful disco pastiche, Bunsen Burner and back in the charts as a birthday present from his adoring and patient fans. Expect madcap mayhem and some scintillating stunts from a man old enough to know better and also to be surprised at just what a showman and musician really lies underneath the tomfoolery. A brilliant ability to inspire THE GUARDIAN Brilliant observationally part of me just wants to stand up and applaud STEVE LAMACQ The audience were in fits of hysteria SALISBURY JOURNAL

Laurence Jones

Laurence Jones

23 Apr 2026 - 22 Apr 2027

Although Laurence doesn’t need too much of an introduction in the music business, for those that haven’t had the chance to see him yet, it’s well worth sharing a thing or two about this artist! He sings, he plays and he writes -- a triple craft -- and he does so like a veteran twice his age, but absolutely no ego and with both feet firmly on the ground! Hailed as 'one to watch' as a teenager by the blues media, concert/festival bookers, blues fans and various guitar stars alike, young Laurence really has come of age. The blues cub has become a man with a plan, turning heads and making jaws drop with his take-no-prisoners, incendiary live set and stunning records. Laurence and his crack band -- Jones on vocals and guitars, Roger Inniss on bass and Phil Wilson on drums -- put the power into power trio, with their modern day blues rock with an edge.
