Liqueur

Liqueur

23 May 2026 - 3 Oct 2026

Liqueur - a tribute to The Cure The idea of forming a Cure tribute band was first jokingly discussed over more than a few beers in the summer of 2006. The original idea was to be a food and drink-based tribute band, given The Cures reputation as enthusiastic drinkers and lovers of a good curry! Hours of fun ensued fooding up Cure songs and albums, including such gems as Piemary, A Forest Gateaux, Quiche me Quiche Me Quiche Me and Seventeen Seconds (can you see what we did there?). However once sober, it was decided that a more traditional tribute route should be taken if we ever wanted to play to an audience without getting food thrown at us! However, the throwaway name, Liqueur, seemed to stick. Original Liqueur members, Mark (drums), Daz (bass) and Chris (Guitar/Vocals) were seasoned veterans of the Norfolk music scene and had previously all played together in a mid 90s Britpop band, Betty Ford. Although not intentional (sic), we were often referred to as a Blur tribute band, thus making the transition to another tribute band relatively straightforward. What makes Liqueur special is the fact that we all like The Cure; weve been fans since we were kids (I would calculate the accumulative fan years we hold but I dont have enough fingers, and hailing from Norfolk, thats really saying something!). Reproducing the songs is the easy part, we want to look, sound, eat and drink The Cure, therefore we try to use the same equipment as the band wherever we can (thank you eBay and Barclaycard!) and the look and feel of our gigs is very important to us. When we play a gig.we are The Cure and we want you to feel like you are watching The Cure. Special guests: Reptile House - a tribute to Sisters Of Mercy Expect plenty of smoke, black and shades.
Phil 'Swill' Odgers & Bobby Valentino
Founder member and vocal strike force of the inimitable The Men They Couldnt Hang, Phil Swill Odgers is a well-loved and prolific solo artist in his own right. The Rollin' Stoned

The Rollin' Stoned

A tribute to “The Greatest Rock’n’Roll Band” the world has seen, focusing on the early part of their career from 1964-1969 including “Jumping Jack Flash”, “Paint It Black”, “Not Fade Away”, & “Satisfaction”. Enthusiastic fans rate the band very highly and those from the Stones inner circle liked them so much, they booked them for a band member’s birthday party! The costumes are shamelessly camp gaudy and fab, the instruments genuinely vintage and the wit irreverent. However, while the tongue is never far from the cheek, it is never to the detriment of the music.
Jesus Jones

Jesus Jones

24 Jul 2026 - 10 Dec 2026

A British alternative rock outfit from Bradford-on-Avon in Wiltshire, Jesus Jones' kinetic mix of samples, pop, dance, and techno resulted in one huge international hit single, "Right Here, Right Now." Known for their strong melodies and hooks, and for meshing club overtones with traditional rock guitar, the group, alongside contemporaries like EMF, the Shamen, and Pop Will Eat Itself, helped shape the '90s alternative rock scene by showing that sample-driven dance music could comfortably fit into pop music. While their popularity faded in the early 2000s, they continued to perform and record, albeit sporadically, with their sixth studio long-player, Passages, arriving in 2018 after a lengthy hiatus.

Davy Knowles

Davy Knowles

7 Jun 2026 - 17 Jun 2026

The journey began for Davy Knowles growing up in the Isle of Man, learning to play guitar from listening to the likes of Gallagher, Clapton, Knopfler, Green and Mayall in his father's record collection, and honing his skills playing the local music circuit. Knowles's professional career started with a bang arriving in America age 19 with his band Back Door Slam, an acclaimed debut album, and rave reviews at SXSW 2007. (I heard the spirit of Jimi Hendrix -- Patrick MacDonald, Seattle Times). From that dynamic introduction, Knowles proceeded to make a significant impact across US media from memorable TV performances on Jimmy Kimmel and Good Morning America, to a three year run at radio with the singles 'Come Home' from the debut album Roll Away and 'Tear Down the Walls' and 'Coming Up For Air' from the Peter Frampton produced sophomore album both albums Top 3 Billboard Blues Chart. Davy already has a recognizable style. He's definitely the gunslinger guitarist of the 21st century,'' Peter Frampton A relentless 4 year tour regime followed for Knowles in support of his albums, taking in legendary festivals Lollapalooza, Memphis In May, Bonnaroo, and Austin City Limits and headlining shows at The Troubadour, Red Rocks, World Cafe and The Iridium. He also toured with Jeff Beck, Buddy Guy, The Who, Warren Haynes, George Thorogood, Peter Frampton, Joe Bonamassa, Kid Rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Rhythm Devils, and the Satriani/Hagar inspired supergroup Chickenfoot. It's an incredible, inspiring education to play with musicians and artists of that caliber DK. Other highlights from this period include playing live to Astronauts on the ISS from mission control in Houston one of only a handful of artists to be invited to do so three tours of the UK and Europe and numerous international festivals including Jakarta, Tokyo, and Perth, Australia. In 2011 Knowles's song Reach Higher was the official anthem for the Youth Commonwealth Games, and in 2012 his 'birthday' tribute to Woody Guthrie a stunning electric version of Pastures of Plenty was released in aid of WhyHunger? In 2014 as Ambassador for the Isle of Man's Year of Culture he played the International Celtic Festival in Lorient, France, and that same year began filming the documentary Island Bound tracking the migration of Celtic and European folk music with the early settlers to the British Colonies. With input from a host oflocal Manx and international artists, including Richard Thompson and Martin Simpson, Davy demonstrates how this music was preserved and passed down through generations, evolving into Bluegrass, Folk, Country and Americana and ultimately influencing the blues and rock music of today. From the very start Knowles earned the respect of fans, media and musicians alike, including some of his own musical heroes such as the aforementioned Peter Frampton, Joe Satrianni, and Warren Haynes. British Blues Legend, Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake, Moody Marsden Band) is another fan - Davy Knowles continues to amaze me he's still so young and yet he plays, writes and sings with such maturity. He's immersed himself in the styles of many great players and has emerged with his own brand, playing with a smile on his face. He's a rare bird, one I will continue to watch and study. Throughout this musical journey, Knowles has kept 'the blues' close to his heart; I love the guitar as an instrument, it's so versatile and endlessly challenging, but whilst I will try play any style to meet that challenge, blues is the music I first fell in love with, and I have always connected deeply with it. I enjoy playing the historian, and am fascinated by all facets of the genre, from the earliest field recordings, to the more recent guitar gods that electrified and supercharged this music. It's from all along this timeline that I like to draw influence from.

The Blues came calling first, but rock was always waiting around the corner. Well it would be, wouldn’t it? Coming from the deep south, it was inevitable, but living in the deep south of a major Yorkshire City, there’s a gritty hard edge to life! A female guitar prodigy, Chantel was told by a major label that she had a "great voice, but girls don't play guitar like that!" Wisely ignoring their comments, she enrolled at the Leeds College of Music and became the first student in the college’s history, to achieve a 100% pass mark at BTEC, with 18 distinctions. Chantel then pursued further education and left with a First Class Honours degree in Popular Music and a coveted prize, the college’s musician of the year award. Chantel released her highly anticipated second album, Lose Control, in October 2015 on her independent boutique label Tis Rock Music, this being the follow up to her critically acclaimed 2011 debut album, Like No Other.

During their time together they have had the honour of Led Zeppelin's front-man Robert Plant attending three of their gigs and John Bonham's son Jason even jammed with them on stage. These things the band are very proud of. It must surely also be the best recommendation any band could receive, and also assure any Led Zeppelin fans apprehensive about seeing The Fredz. According to one of Kerrang's readers polls. Fred Zeppelin are among the top ten best live bands to see. Quite an achievement, as they were the only tribute band listed in any category.

28 Jun 2026 - 12 Dec 2026

Dave McCabe Announces second UK Tour with James Jay Lewis. After recently stepping out with his debut solo single “When You’re Young”, Dave McCabe is heading back on the road this November for a run of UK dates, joined once again by special guest, James Jay Lewis. Best known as the voice and songwriter behind The Zutons, McCabe’s move into solo territory has already made a strong impression. “When You’re Young” has been tremendously well received and already a firm live favourite. Earlier this year, McCabe and Lewis played a run of shows together that quickly gathered momentum, with packed rooms and a great response night after night. This new tour builds on that, taking them to more venues across the UK through November and into December. McCabe’s set draws from material throughout his rich writing career, from Zutons classics, to songs he wrote for other artists and glimpses of his new music, the second of which will be released in advance of the tour. Jay Lewis is a perfect fit for the bill. A Liverpool-born multi-instrumentalist, he’s worked with Cast and The La's over the years, and has been steadily building his own solo following. With songs that carry a classic, melodic British song writing style, and his outstanding musicianship, the two team up together both on their own and each other’s music. Presented by Love Thy Neighbour. This is an 18+ event

Erasured

Erasured

13 Jun 2026 - 20 Mar 2027

The Ultimate Erasure Tribute In 1995 Mark appeared on ITV’s “Stars In Their Eyes” (and again for the 1995 Christmas Special) as Erasure’s Andy Bell, to universal acclaim. He met Pete in 1996 and the pair began writing original material together and at the same time launched Erasured, with which they toured the circuit for over ten years. The magic eventually waned, but the pair stayed the closest of friends. Then in 2018 Mark and Pete were invited to recreate the recent arena gigs Robbie Williams had done with Erasure. They agreed to do the gig as a ‘one off’ for nostalgia’s sake. The show was a huge success and they again found their passion for Erasure music, and started touring again, with new technology and new outfits!

Wille and the Bandits

Wille and the Bandits

5 Nov 2026 - 12 Nov 2026

Essentially Wille and the Bandits is a classic blues rock three piece much in the vain of Cream or The Jimi Hendrix experience. But in a similar way to how these bands pushed the genre in their time, Wille and the Bandits try to take their sound beyond what is expected of such a traditional line up. The use of more bizarre instrumentation and eclectic influences in the song writing often pushes them more into a world music or progressive category. Having toured with artists such as Deep Purple through to the John Butler trio and played major festivals across Europe, the band seem to leave an equally astounding impression on audiences of all ages and musical backgrounds with their energetic and soulful performances. They have received great critical acclaim, being voted in the top ten must see bands at Glastonbury 2014 by BBC Radio 1 and reaching number 2 in the UK blues chart with their first single on downloads alone. Now touring their third independently released studio album Wille and the Bandits fan base, repertoire of sounds, styles and innovation seems to be growing at an exponential rate. The band are praised in the press for their albums; bursting at the seams with textures, originality and soul. Rock legends such as Ian Paice, Joe Bonamassa and Francis Rossi have also praised the band's musicianship and their unique edge to Rock and Blues. It's rare to find a band as dynamic as Wille and the Bandits, one that is just as comfortable and as impressive at both ends of the sonic spectrum. In the modern age of disposable music it is refreshing to hear a band that still value the art of creating albums and who continue to bring new instruments and ideas into their songwriting rather than settling for a tried and tested formula. Ten seconds of Youtube will not scratch the surface of the band's sound and message; this is a band that is very much about discovery and one best experienced live!
