The Grange Theatre

The theatre is situated in Hartford, Cheshire and runs as part of The Grange School. It provides a large performance space with seating for 233 raked seats plus variable seating layouts for another 112 giving a total capacity of over 345 and four wheelchair spaces. It provides a performance space for the school and local event organisers, with special hire rates for charities and not-for-profit organisations.

This is much more than just another tribute show - this is a celebration of fantastic music performed by an array of incredible talent. The Jerseys have performed in various prestigious venues, visiting the length and breadth of the UK. Some notable shows include a performance for Her Majesty The Queen on The Long Walk, Windsor Castle for her 90th Birthday Celebrations, and internationally including The Paris Casino in Las Vegas. Along with their LIVE 4 piece band of internationally renowned musicians, this all-singing all-dancing show features hit after hit, comedy and more - the complete night out which will have you dancing in the aisles of the theatre and leave you 'beggin' for more!

Salt & Pepper Productions Theatre School: 28th July 2nd August 2025 Are you aged 818?Do you love acting, dancing, and singing?Do you want to be part of a team that produces a musical in just a week? If the answer is yes, then dont miss Salt & Pepper Productions Theatre School this Summer! The Experience Get ready to ruffle some feathers and join us for a fun and intensive week of acting, dancing, and singing as we hatch Honk! Jr., the heartwarming, hilarious retelling of The Ugly Duckling! This marks our seventh Musical Theatre School, and after the huge success of our previous workshops, were egg-cited to deliver another unforgettable experience. The entire week will be held at the amazing Grange Theatre, giving students the incredible opportunity to experience working in a professional theatre environment from start to finish. Throughout the week, theyll get to see behind the scenes, watching as the set is constructed, the lights are plotted, and the sound is rigged and tested. Students will also have costumes fitted and make-up designed and applied for their characters, just like in a professional production. Its a brilliant way for young performers to understand and appreciate all the elements that go into creating a full-scale show, not just what happens on stage! Students will spend the week rehearsing, learning new skills, and making friends, all while preparing for two egg-cellent live performances at The Grange Theatre on Saturday 2nd August at 12pm and 4pm. A Professional Experience for Young Performers This is a very busy and focused week, designed for students who are passionate about musical theatre and eager to experience the excitement, and the demands, of working in a professional theatre environment. This is not your average summer club; its a high-energy, professional experience where students rise to the exciting challenge of creating a full-scale production in just six days! Our production values match those of a professional show, with full costumes, set, lighting, sound, and make-up, giving students the incredible opportunity to perform in a truly theatrical environment and experience the real magic of the stage. Students are expected to work hard, support each other, and fully commit, just like professional performers, ensuring a rewarding and unforgettable experience for everyone involved. We promise it will be a summer theyll never quack about missing! Key Dates and Times Monday 28th July Thursday 31st July: 10am4pm (Dance, Drama, and Singing Rehearsals)Friday 1st August: 10am4pm (Technical and Dress Rehearsal)Saturday 2nd August: 10am6pm (Performances at 12pm & 4pm) Auditions Some lead roles require preparation due to extensive dialogue and lyrics. To make sure everyone is ready to shine, we will hold pre-auditions for older roles: Friday 20th June: Deadline to sign up for lead role auditions. Friday 27th June: Deadline for self-tape submissions. All other roles will be cast during the workshop week. Once your booking is confirmed, audition details will be sent to you. Cost 175 per student (Sibling discount: 155 per additional child) Deposit: 30 via Ticket Source. Final balance due by 4th July 2025. Relaxed Performance Alice in Winter Wonderland Our Relaxed Performance is specially adapted to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for audience members who may benefit from a more relaxed theatre experience including those with autism, sensory sensitivities, learning difficulties, anxiety, or anyone who would enjoy a more informal setting. During this performance: Sound levels are reduced, including the PA and sound effects All smoke and haze effects are turned off House lights remain on at a low level throughout the show Stage lighting is softened to avoid bright or strobing effects The cast introduce themselves before the show begins, to help ease any nerves and make the experience more familiar Audience members are free to move, make noise, or take a break if needed, and our team is on hand to support wherever we can.
