Chantel McGregor

Chantel McGregor

10 Jul 2026 - 27 Feb 2027

The Blues came calling first, but rock was always waiting around the corner. Well it would be, wouldn’t it? Coming from the deep south, it was inevitable, but living in the deep south of a major Yorkshire City, there’s a gritty hard edge to life! A female guitar prodigy, Chantel was told by a major label that she had a "great voice, but girls don't play guitar like that!" Wisely ignoring their comments, she enrolled at the Leeds College of Music and became the first student in the college’s history, to achieve a 100% pass mark at BTEC, with 18 distinctions. Chantel then pursued further education and left with a First Class Honours degree in Popular Music and a coveted prize, the college’s musician of the year award. Chantel released her highly anticipated second album, Lose Control, in October 2015 on her independent boutique label Tis Rock Music, this being the follow up to her critically acclaimed 2011 debut album, Like No Other.
Baskery

Baskery

11 Nov 2026 - 22 Nov 2026

The three sisters can't recall when or why they started playing, the music’s always just been there. In their late teens, the sisters joined forces with their dad, who for decades was a one man band playing old blues and country tunes for a living. This foundation of classic "roots music and Americana" settled in their hearts, but also awoke the urge of breaking the rules of traditional music. Baskery is a band built on what three people can do together and it's all about turning the music on its head, blending the straightforwardness of punk with the subtlety of singer/ songwriting. The first album, "Fall Among Thieves" (2008) was recorded in Stockholm, co-produced by Lasse Mårtén (Pink, 'Peter, Bjorn and John', Kelly Clarkson, Lykke Li, Primal Scream ). "New Friends" (2011) the follow up, the band referred to it as the "gypsy album" since it was mainly tracked on the road in various hotel rooms and band apartments, then mixed in Berlin by Blackpete (Depeche Mode, Joe Jackson, Peter Fox). As a contrast to the first two albums which took several months to make, the third one "Little Wild Life" (2013) was recorded during ten days in an old dance studio converted to a studio in former east Berlin, co-produced by Matt Wignall (Cold War Kids, J. Roddy Walston, Wargirl). All three albums received great acclaim by the press and are released in numerous countries. The releases in combination with relentless touring have given the band a reputation as one of the music scene's most noticeable live acts.

Kiki Dee and Carmelo Lugerri

Kiki Dee and Carmelo Lugerri

18 Mar 2027 - 18 Mar 2027

Tickets are in great demand for this concert. Get yours early It started out as just another studio day for producer and guitarist, Carmelo Luggeri until pop legend Kiki Dee came in to put down a vocal . Hed seen her many times on TV, but once she started singing, he was just blown away by the amazing tone of her unmistakeable voice. Little did he suspect that, from that day on, his musical career was to change for ever. The late Steve Brown (the man who discovered Elton John) told him, There's something special happening when you play acoustically with Kiki.. you should team up. Possessed of a great eye for talent, Steve became their mentor. Carmelo admits: That was the day he got us to turn left. And now, 25 years on from that epiphany, the synergy between the two has blossomed, firmly establishing them as one of the UKs great musical pairings. 2018 saw a year of musical consolidation for the popular duo Bob Harris wanted them as opening act for the re-booted Whistle Test, and indeed this turned out to be a seminal moment, leading to long overdue recognition and critical acclaim. A large and influential TV audience was delighted to see Kiki not only looking superbly fit, but her unique voice even better than they remembered. Both performers enjoy a heritage which stretches back through decades of fine musicianship, yet in all that time Kiki Carmelo concerts never became a museum piece, a go through-the-motions tribute act. Their long-running body of work is not, nor ever will be, set in aspic. Kikis upbeat song Forward Motion perfectly encapsulates her innate disdain for standing still, her music constantly evolving. As well as K&C compositions and Carmelos beautiful acoustic arrangements of obligatory Kiki songs, sublime numbers by great artists are sprinkled into their concerts to great effect. Harry Manx, Leonard Cohen, Kate Bush & Lowell George are welcome additions to a KC setlist with even a bit of Depeche Mode & Frank Sinatra thrown in for good measure. Kiki laughs off this refreshingly cavalier approach: We venture all over the place musically but Ive learnt to embrace it our live shows are very eclectic. Equally at home playing intimate London jazz venues or Theatres and Arts Centres in far-flung market towns, the twos free-wheeling, often humorous vibe has made them a shoe-in for the flourishing Summer festival market. On stage, Carmelos mesmerising playing and arrangements plus loops and Asian Drones fill out the sound to great effect, with Kiki providing moody texture & subtle underscore on keys. Add to that Ms Dees unique and distinctive voice (which surely should have a national preservation order on it!) and audiences are guaranteed one wonderful evenings entertainment.
3 Daft Monkeys

3 Daft Monkeys

17 Oct 2026 - 20 Nov 2026

3 Daft Monkeys' dynamic style of world-influenced folk music and infectious dancing rhythms will leave you breathless, enthralled and exhilarated. After experiencing the band's notoriously energetic live performance at Glastonbury Festival last summer, Mark Radcliffe declared them as one of his Highlights of the Festival on BBC TV coverage, and subsequently invited them to play a session on his BBC Radio 2 Folk Show. The band have also performed a live session with Whispering Bob Harris on Radio 2, after he experienced them 'live' at Cropredy Festival. With their quirky and original approach to music, and their passion, intensity and sheer joy of life, 3 Daft Monkeys have gained themselves a large and loyal cult following, which is still growing rapidly due to their intense touring schedule. Their music is hard to pigeon-hole, mixing and crossing many musical genres from Celtic, Klezmer, Gypsy, Balkan, Latin, Ska, Dub Reggae, Indie, Rock and even a hint of Shostakovich. Fascinating lyrics of personal and whimsical observations on life, and folk tales both ancient and modern, are told within the swirling layers of their music, all with the essential catchy sing-along chorus. Their latest story-led and theatrical album Of Stones and Bones'(Best Album, Spiral Earth Awards) is a collection of old, new and fictional Cornish tales of forbidden love, murder, rebellion, witchcraft and piracy. All delivered with panache and a wicked vein of humour.

Nashville-based Southern Rock Revivalists Parker Barrow roar back to the UK with their Hold The Mash Tour Parker Barrow is a high energy, blues-infused southern rock n roll band led by husband-and-wife duo Megan Kane (lead vocals) and Dylan Turner (drums). The pair immediately hit it off, and within two weeks they were on the road together in full time pursuit of a mutual musical dream. The couple have been riding the highs and lows of rock n roll road life ever since. In 2023 Parker Barrow expanded with the full-time inclusion of guitarist and musical director Alex Bender. At the foundation of Parker Barrow's sound is the heavy-handed groove of Turner's drumming, with Kane's soulful and electrifying vocals soaring up over the top. The pair's dynamics are brilliantly stitched together by Alex's creative riffs and spirited playing throughout the songs. Parker Barrow's compelling vintage sound contains elements of rock, southern rock, blues, and soul; but the band's brand of music is unmistakably and distinctly their own. The band command an impressive mix of old and new influences threaded throughout their distinctive sound, including the Allman Brothers, the Black Crowes, Blackberry Smoke, Johnny Cash, the Rolling Stones, Tedeschi-Trucks, Whiskey Myers and Led Zeppelin.

Jon Gomm

Jon Gomm

8 Oct 2026 - 23 Oct 2026

Jon Gomm, based in Leeds, West Yorkshire in the UK, is an acoustic singer-songwriter with a revolutionary virtuoso guitar style, where he uses one acoustic guitar to create drum sounds, basslines and twisting melodies all at the same time. The emphasis is still on the soulful vocals and songwriting, and his original material is influenced by everything from Robert Johnson to Radiohead. His live shows combine deeply personal performances and a natural wit, with a once seen, never forgotten two-handed guitar style, both physical and complex, producing sounds people can barely believe are coming from a humble acoustic guitar. Jon first laid his hands on a guitar at the age of two (actually it was a ukulele - his parents couldn't find a guitar small enough). He wrote his first song at the age of six, and was soon accompanying his father, a music critic, to gigs in his hometown of Blackpool. Touring musicians would often stay at the Gomm household on the understanding Jon would get a guitar lesson, meaning he had one-to-one instruction from such blues legends as BB King and Jack Bruce of Cream. Nowadays, Jon tours worldwide. In January 2012 his song Passionflower went viral online, with the video passing 6 million hits, resulting in national TV appearances in the UK, Portugal, Holland, Brazil and Turkey.

Mcrae’s second album, Just Like Blood, released to wide acclaim, with every track being licensed for TV and film use, his style of music fitting perfectly the darker output of LA’s film studios. Since then, Essex-born Mcrae has released five more albums, relocated internationally three times and set up his own label Buzztree Studios in Cornwall- and there’s no sign that he’s going to be slowing down anytime soon. Mcrae and his tour mates, The Standing Band, a collection of incredible musicians and loyal friends, released their latest record ‘Did I Sleep and Miss The Boarder’ this Autumn. The album and its accompanying tour have further added to the cult that is rapidly springing up around this talented and dedicated artist and his ragtag band. For an artist working in a genre often considered by the music press to be ‘sensitive and self-indulgent’, Mcrae possesses the talent to blow the roof off a venue with his passionate performances, as well as the innate ability forge a strong humorous bond with his audience.

Several weeks and quite a few songs later, they decided to expand the enterprise from a songwriting workshop to a full blown band. Clive recruited keyboardist Jez Smith and bassist Craig Fletcher from John Lees Barclay James Harvest and the line-up was completed with the addition of legendary drummer, Paul Burgess, who has played with 10cc since 1973. They named the band The Guilty Men and headed into the recording studio.

26 Sept 2026 - 26 Sept 2026

Check it out, especially if you don't know about this platform, I'm really excited about it - it's something I've been meaning to do for years but not got around to. It's a great way to keep in touch with our fans during these crazy times and a way for me to keep solvent until things turn around, though it will of course be an ongoing project. Most of the stuff I'll be sharing on Patreon will be exclusive. Live Videos, chats, recordings, tips and tricks, and opportunities to recommend material for recordings and the live show. Once we get back on the road there'll be special exclusive band performances and backstage antics, plus VIP access to soundchecks/meet and greet. Like a lot of our fellow musicians we've taken quite a hit over the last week or so... On the way home from what was to be our final show for some time at the Dumfries Festival Scotland, Carole's 'phone rang constantly with promotors cancelling shows. By the time we arrived home some time later, most of our work for the next couple of months was gone. Since then most of our work for the rest of 2020 has gone.

Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage

Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage

18 Oct 2026 - 29 Oct 2026

Huddled round a single microphone, singing intimate duets with just mountain dulcimer, dobro and guitar Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage are a folk duo that look & sound classically timeless, yet feel refreshingly unique. A chance meeting at their local Black Fen Folk Club in Cambridge uncovered Hannah and Ben’s shared musical passions and sympathies, that over time has developed into a unique and intimate show of American roots and English folk music. Fleetingly, they may evoke a memory of Gram & Emmylou, Shirley & Davey, or Gillian & David but their warm distilling of influences from both sides of the Atlantic produces a refined sound that is decidedly their own. Their unique unplugged presentation creates a widescreen, cinematic soundscape with open spaces and atmosphere, giving their beautifully pure vocals room to share the songs’ emotion and narrative. The material is as joyful and fun as it is intense, but the common factor is the duo’s warmth and confidence in each other; their natural ease and connection is clearly evident on the recorded music, and a genuine pleasure to witness on stage.

Nominated for Live act of the Year 2023/24 at the MG Na Trad Awards & The Scottish Altrnative Music Awards. An Dannsa Dub (The Dub Dance in Gaelic) is the brainchild of dub vocalist & producer Tom Spirals and Scottish traditional musician Euan McLaughlin formed in 2020. The project fuses the mystical energy and instruments of traditional Scottish music and Gaelic song with the heavy, meditative, driving basslines digital dub music. Music is one big conversation. And few projects live at the heart of it like An Dannsa Dub. Born from a love of traditional Scottish folk, dub reggae and dance music, together they summon the joyous, communal energy of a cèilidh and a sound system session. Their name comes from the Gaelic for "The Dub Dance". Their sound celebrates the ancient Gaelic and West African rhythms that influenced reggae, which in turn, via sound system culture and dub's pioneering remixes, produced modern dance music. Their live shows and recordings are a seamless, pulsating fusion of all this and more.

The Poozies

The Poozies

22 Oct 2026 - 6 Nov 2026

The Poozies first burst onto the folk scene in 1991, when folk music wore elaborately patterned woolly jumpers and was only seen in dingy back rooms and very late at night on BBC2 - yet from the word go they were breaking out and happily exploring the musical universe. The folk scene was then, as now, very male-dominated and so it was a conscious decision back then to be an all-female band. The name came from a den of iniquity frequented by Robert Burns, called Poozie Nancys, and there is some debate amongst the four founder members as to whether the now-obvious meaning of Poozie was realised back then but the feeling now is that its pretty rock and roll!!As with all bands that have been on the road for so long there have been various line-up changes, and although its probably fair to say a male may feel its slightly strange to be in a band with this name, there has also always been a natural choice of who will join the band and these people have also just so happened to be female. Throughout the years The Poozies have toured worldwide and attracted recognition and appreciation for their eclectic choice of material, unusual and exciting arrangements, and heart-tugging vocal harmonies.
Ellie Gowers

Ellie Gowers

1 Nov 2026 - 26 Nov 2026

Since emerging on the UK folk scene with her 2022 debut album Dwelling by the Weir, Ellie Gowers has captivated audiences with songs rooted in folklore, ecology and the nuanced stories of her hometown, Warwick. Lauded by The Guardian as 'full of delicacy, precision and gentle delight,' the album established her as a compelling new presence on the UK touring circuit. Ellie joins us this autumn as part of her UK tour, celebrating the release of an extended edition of her celebrated 2024 EP - You The Passenger. This expanded release builds on the critical success of the original EP, which earned national airplay on BBC Radio 2 (Mark Radcliffe), BBC 6 Music (Lauren Laverne's Fantastic Beats), and RADMAC, alongside the KLOF premiere of her video A Moment and multiple major playlist features. Inspired by the likes of MIPSO and Jeff Buckley, Ellie’s new material sees her pushing into more emotionally spacious and contemporary territory - while retaining the grounded storytelling that first brought her acclaim with 2022’s Dwelling by the Weir. These songs explore the aftermath of life on the road: themes of absence, longing, and emotional duality woven through rich acoustic textures and lyrical craft.

Laurence Jones

Laurence Jones

9 Sept 2026 - 26 Jun 2027

Although Laurence doesn’t need too much of an introduction in the music business, for those that haven’t had the chance to see him yet, it’s well worth sharing a thing or two about this artist! He sings, he plays and he writes -- a triple craft -- and he does so like a veteran twice his age, but absolutely no ego and with both feet firmly on the ground! Hailed as 'one to watch' as a teenager by the blues media, concert/festival bookers, blues fans and various guitar stars alike, young Laurence really has come of age. The blues cub has become a man with a plan, turning heads and making jaws drop with his take-no-prisoners, incendiary live set and stunning records. Laurence and his crack band -- Jones on vocals and guitars, Roger Inniss on bass and Phil Wilson on drums -- put the power into power trio, with their modern day blues rock with an edge.
