Formerly Uncle Sam's Jazz Bar, The Haggerston is an independent local pub, proud of its pizza oven and its comprehensive drinks list. You can expect to queue at weekends. For many years now it's been the regular venue for popular local jazz guitarist Alan Weekes, a veteran of the London reggae scene, whose band plays a regular Sunday session.
