Weatherday

Weatherday

20 May 2026 - 30 May 2026

Hornet Disaster, Weatherday’s follow-up to their 2019 debut Come in, and spiritual successor to 2022’s collab release Weatherglow, is their most expansive work to date. In Weatherday’s initial bout of inspired writing and recording, they produced over 70 songs for the record, but not before they had a complete, overarching narrative that was coherently tied back to Sputnik’s previous work. Like its predecessor Come in, Weatherday’s Hornet Disaster lurches instantly into a caustic title track. The overture is signature Weatherday - urgent, noisy, erratic, and playful - but also hints at shifts in songwriting and production. Lead single “Angel,” backed with “Heartbeats,” demonstrates this evolution in a snappy, springy emo anthem, while its counterpart calls on longtime influence The Knife in a slinky, downtempo curio that pushes the Weatherday sonic universe in an unexpected direction. The movement, color, and form of hornets are meticulously threaded throughout the album’s nineteen song tracklist, with hectic melody and unpredictable turns giving way to various forays: a tribute to Swedish winter in Weatherday’s first official song in Swedish (“Pulka”); the use of renaissance flute (“Green Tea Seaweed Sea”); and the folktronica experimentalism of third single “Ripped Apart By Hands.”
PleasureInc.

PleasureInc.

22 May 2026 - 30 May 2026

PleasureInc. is the genre-fluid musical brainchild of brothers Jesse and Louis Baker. Jaded with playing in indie bands, the Norwich based duo began formulating a new type of project in early 2021, creating music and visual content that reflected their love for hip hop, indie, pop, fashion, film and the 90s. Through aliases Kenny Pleasures and Jonny Silver, the brothers project a playful perspective in their music, pulling sounds and attitudes from the likes of Blur, Beastie Boys, easy life and Tyler, The Creator. PleasureInc. permeate personality like good cheese permeates stink. You simply cant help but take notice. It didn't take long for fans across the UK to do just that. Harnessing the mystery of their brand, the brothers built a fast online and live following, selling out venues across the country, including a packed House of Vans performance alongside Joey Valence & Brae in November 2022. The duo have continued to build on this in 2023 with a UK tour and a slew of single releases garnering 100,000+ Spotify streams. With their debut EP For the Fun of It set for release in summer, a focus on modern production techniques brings the duo closer to the hip-hop realm than previous releases: the title track channels the punky wit of Beastie Boys, whilst tracks like Joanie Loves Chachiand What's My Namepoint towards Blood Orange and Frank Ocean as the duo embrace a softer, introspective side.

Tom McRae

2 Oct 2026 - 1 Nov 2026

British singer-songwriter Tom Mcrae, along with his regular touring musicians ‘The Standing Band’, has been quietly moving up the ranks of the most respected songwriters in the world today after releasing 7 critically acclaimed studio albums over the last 15 years and writing for a variety of artists and singers. Mcrae’s eponymous debut album in 2000 was nominated for a The Mercury Prize, a Q Magazine Award, and a Brit, and the subsequent two years of touring cemented his reputation as one the most entertaining and powerful artists touring today. Mcrae’s second album, Just Like Blood, released to wide acclaim, with every track being licensed for TV and film use, his style of music fitting perfectly the darker output of LA’s film studios. Since then, Essex-born Mcrae has released five more albums, relocated internationally three times and set up his own label Buzztree Studios in Cornwall- and there’s no sign that he’s going to be slowing down anytime soon. Mcrae and his tour mates, The Standing Band, a collection of incredible musicians and loyal friends, released their latest record ‘Did I Sleep and Miss The Boarder’ this Autumn. The album and its accompanying tour have further added to the cult that is rapidly springing up around this talented and dedicated artist and his ragtag band. For an artist working in a genre often considered by the music press to be ‘sensitive and self-indulgent’, Mcrae possesses the talent to blow the roof off a venue with his passionate performances, as well as the innate ability forge a strong humorous bond with his audience.

ORB + Support

7 Jul 2026 - 7 Jul 2026

ORB are a heavy-psych power-trio from Geelong, Australia, blending doom-laden riffs, fuzzed-out proto-metal and cosmic groove. Featuring members Zak Olsen, Daff Gravolin and John Zacharias, the band grew from informal jams into one of Australia’s most distinctive underground psychedelic rock acts. They debuted with the Womb cassette (2015) before breaking through with Birth (2016) and Naturality (2017), records that showcased their signature mix of Sabbath-weight, psychedelic sprawl and off-kilter melody. After a quiet spell, ORB returned with Tailem Bend (2024), expanding their palette into sun-baked psych-pop and funk-leaning rhythms. 2025 saw the band self-release their first single with new drummer John Zacharius. "Mind Over Matter /End Times" is a catchy number which finds the band leaning into their early 60s rhythm & blues influences. With the single debuting on Seattle's KEXP radio, the band was then invited on to play a live set to kick off their 2025 US tour. Live, ORB operate as a raw, improvisational power-trio - loud, hypnotic and heavy without pretension. With one foot in classic hard-rock and another in the outer reaches of psych experimentation, ORB continue to evolve while staying unmistakably themselves. Presented by Acid Box. This is an 18+ event

Uncle Lucius

Uncle Lucius

30 Aug 2026 - 1 Sept 2026

Southern rock for the thinking man. Hailing from Austin, Texas, Uncle Lucius are a band whose rootsy blend of classic rock, blues, soul, and country flavours has won them a loyal fan following. From there first beginning the band was soon playing for packed houses at Austin venues like the Saxon Pub, Threadgill's, and Antone's. In 2006, Uncle Lucius unveiled their first album, a self-released effort titled 'Something They Ain't', and the group supported the release with steady regional touring. The second album, 2009's 'Pick Your Head Up' marked the start of a three-year run of tour dates that took Uncle Lucius across the continent. A self released album hailed for bringing rock and roll back to its heyday sound. Their third studio album, 2012's And You Are Me, now signed to a major label found them stretching their musicianship and reeling in eleven songs that punch with a fullness reminiscent of The Doors to early Black Crowes to the current new blues sound of The Black Keys. The Light, released June, 2015 on Boo Clap/Thirty Tigers celebrates the bands independence from a major label with a highly-anticipated fourth album,. Most bands celebrate a long-awaited record deal. Uncle Lucius saved the champagne for when they got out of theirs. 'The Light' places the band in unfamiliar sonic territory, and much credit belongs to producer George Reiff (Ray Wylie Hubbard, the Band of Heathens) for testing their limits. Certainly there's risk involved when a band decides to go its own way. Freedom carries with it the weight of responsibility after all, however the fact Uncle Lucius seems destined for a broader audience should come as no surprise, for music that comes from the heart and speaks to the soul.

Cootie Catcher

Cootie Catcher

1 Nov 2026 - 9 Nov 2026

There’s an alternate reality where everyone makes a living wage and the cleanest buses you’ve ever seen arrive every other minute. Where the most intense songs are about confessing your love to a crush at the apple orchard, and where gentle feelings and chaotic energy are inseparable best friends. This is the timeline where cootie catcher is right at home. This Toronto based four-piece exudes both vulnerability and unbridled excitement, creating a sound that hypercharges the open-hearted tenderness of twee pop with spiraling synths and giddy electronics. Their new album Something We All Got is the clearest and most vibrant reading of cootie catcher’s vision yet, with songs of sweetness, nervousness, and expectancy that beam out unguarded. After releasing music made primarily in basements, Something We All Got is the band’s first flirtation with studio recording. The edges are still sharp, however, with some parts assembled from time-honored lo-fi methods and fun, personally-sourced samples seeping into the production. The sound is explosive and upbeat, with euphoric guitars, bubbly synth lines, speedy live and programmed drums, and all other manner of sound constantly colliding. cootie catcher has three songwriters-Sophia Chavez (vocals, synths), Anita Fowl (vocals, bass), and Nolan Jakupovski (vocals, guitar)-all of whom have distinctive voices but manage to overlap in their writing on shared concerns like navigating the lines of romantic and platonic relationships, their city’s social scenes, and struggles in both the microcosmic experience of playing in a band and the zoomed-out challenges of living through late-stage capitalism. Joy still touches every surface of Something We All Got. “Quarter Note Rock” bounces around the room in a fit of jangling guitar chords, scratched samples, and interplay between breakbeat loops and somersaulting live drums. It’s a blast of positivity despite lyrics about how disappointing it can be to meet your heroes. A smiling electro pop instrumental supports having to step painfully away from an almost realized love on “Gingham Dress,” a song that subverts themes of domesticity as a backdrop for the dashed wilt of hopeless devotion. The ‘non-confrontational anthem’ “Puzzle Pop” cascades and soars through an examination of needing to ask more from others before concluding in a swirl of samples. Cootie Catcher rolls down hills and jumps through flaming hoops throughout Something We All Got without ever muting the visceral emotions that drive these songs. There’s a palpable tension between the band’s exhilarating sonics and the raw, often uneasy sentiments expressed, but it’s an integral part of what makes them unique. Rather than hide, cootie catcher is instead fearlessly direct, running full-speed toward every confusion and excitement, and embracing the reality they’re in. Presented by FORM.

Skating Polly

5 Oct 2026 - 21 Oct 2026

There’s a difficult to describe, yet timeless quality to certain songs that transcends genre or era. It’s something that you can’t fake or contrive and it’s what lies at the core of Skating Polly’s music. Admittedly the female-driven alternative acts that inspired the band such as Veruca Salt, X, The Breeders, L7 and Babes In Toyland (the later of whom Skating Polly toured with in Europe) aren’t typical reference points for most of today’s up-and-coming bands, but maybe they should be.
Skating Polly + Lord Friday The 13th
Over the past decade, few artists have embodied the unbridled freedom of punk like Skating Polly. Formed when stepsisters Kelli Mayo and Peyton Bighorse were just nine and 13, the Oklahoma-bred band have channeled their chameleonic musicality into a sound they call “ugly-pop,” unruly and subversive and wildly melodic. With Kelli’s brother Kurtis Mayo joining on drums in 2017, they’ve also built a close-knit community of fans while earning the admiration of their musical forebears, a feat that’s found them collaborating with icons like X’s Exene Cervenka and Beat Happening’s Calvin Johnson, touring with Babes In Toyland, and starring as the subject of a feature-length documentary. On their double album Chaos County Line, Skating Polly reach a whole new level of self-possession, ultimately sharing their most expansive and emotionally powerful work to date. An Dannsa Dub (The Dub Dance in Gaelic) is the brainchild of dub vocalist & producer Tom Spirals and Scottish traditional musician Euan McLaughlin formed in 2020. The project fuses the mystical energy and instruments of traditional Scottish music and Gaelic song with the heavy, meditative, driving basslines digital dub music. Music is one big conversation. And few projects live at the heart of it like An Dannsa Dub. Born from a love of traditional Scottish folk, dub reggae and dance music, together they summon the joyous, communal energy of a cèilidh and a sound system session. Their name comes from the Gaelic for "The Dub Dance". Their sound celebrates the ancient Gaelic and West African rhythms that influenced reggae, which in turn, via sound system culture and dub's pioneering remixes, produced modern dance music. Their live shows and recordings are a seamless, pulsating fusion of all this and more.
