Baskery

Baskery

22 Apr 2026 - 22 Nov 2026

The three sisters can't recall when or why they started playing, the music’s always just been there. In their late teens, the sisters joined forces with their dad, who for decades was a one man band playing old blues and country tunes for a living. This foundation of classic "roots music and Americana" settled in their hearts, but also awoke the urge of breaking the rules of traditional music. Baskery is a band built on what three people can do together and it's all about turning the music on its head, blending the straightforwardness of punk with the subtlety of singer/ songwriting. The first album, "Fall Among Thieves" (2008) was recorded in Stockholm, co-produced by Lasse Mårtén (Pink, 'Peter, Bjorn and John', Kelly Clarkson, Lykke Li, Primal Scream ). "New Friends" (2011) the follow up, the band referred to it as the "gypsy album" since it was mainly tracked on the road in various hotel rooms and band apartments, then mixed in Berlin by Blackpete (Depeche Mode, Joe Jackson, Peter Fox). As a contrast to the first two albums which took several months to make, the third one "Little Wild Life" (2013) was recorded during ten days in an old dance studio converted to a studio in former east Berlin, co-produced by Matt Wignall (Cold War Kids, J. Roddy Walston, Wargirl). All three albums received great acclaim by the press and are released in numerous countries. The releases in combination with relentless touring have given the band a reputation as one of the music scene's most noticeable live acts.

Earthtone9

Earthtone9

14 Dec 2025 - 14 Dec 2025

earthtone9 are rightly hailed by those who know as one of the most forward-thinking, clever, musically wise and creatively smart in the history of British metal. Emerging in the late ‘90s as nu-metal was beginning to surge, their more nuanced palette and intelligent approach saw them hailed as something special and excitingly against the grain from the very beginning. Making an album a year between 1998 and 2000 – beginning with their expertly crafted Lo-def(inition) Discord debut, and culminating in 2000’s staggering Arc’tan’gent – it was a workrate as intense as the music was uniformly brilliant. After splitting in 2002 the band made a surprise return in 2013 with the crowdfunded album, IV. Following this they made only occasional appearances in the live arena (including at the ArcTanGent Festival, which purloined its name from their third album!), before once again seeming to disappear on hiatus. Now, 11 years on from their last record, they present In Resonance Nexus, a thrilling work of brains and muscle that not only stokes a fire, but sees the band's core members – vocalist Karl Middleton and guitarists Owen Packard and Joe Roberts – rediscovering and reconnecting with what makes them so special. In Resonance Nexus is the heaviest, fiercest, most heightened record they have ever made; a startling combination of almost feral intensity and the latter-day songwriting chops they displayed on the IV album. Presented by Action!. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 at all times. Under 8’s must have hearing protection.

Joining the dots that have not been joined for a long time, the collective takes on people of all sexualities, gender expressions and body types. “We are very proud to bring this music back to its inclusive roots. Let’s forget the disjointed and cliquey scene we live in, and bring back what once united us.” Crafting songs with real musicians, the group’s name was inspired by Ladies of the 80’s by Eighties Ladies, the album from a girl group produced by Roy Ayers, “I just loved the whole concept, and I wanted to do the same thing with Girls of the Internet,” explains the group’s founding member Tom Kerridge. “I wanted a name that played with gender, and people’s subconscious misogyny. Girls of the Internet is abstract – it means nothing, and it means everything.”

The Fear are back and bigger than ever! The UK based Alt Metallers are returing to Southampton, after appearing in support of Alien Ant Farm and Snot, this time with their own headline show! The Fear is what happens when unfinished business refuses to stay buried. Based in the UK, the band features Benj Ashmead (Drums), Mick Satiar (Vocals), Ad Lucas (Guitar), and Adam Smethurst (Guitar) - Friends who once chased music Full-time in various bands, only to walk away when the dream didn’t quite pay off. They didn’t speak for ten years. In 2024, something shifted. Benj had quietly started writing again after a decade away, an a beer with Mikc turned into a conversation. The Fear was born - a fresh project fueled by years of experience and renewed drive. Sonically, they fuse the intensity of metalcore with melodic alt-rock sensibilities - drawing from bands like Linkin Park, Underoath and Papa Roach, while the vocals carry subtle echoes of Mancunian icons Oasis and The Buzzcocks. But it’s the lyrics that truly mark their evolution. “When we were younger, we lived in a band bubble,” Benj explains. “We didn’t have much to reflect on - the words were surface-level, more about moment than meaning. Now, years of life, loss and growth have given us deeper stories to tell. Our lyrics carry more weight - confronting dark truths, struggles and the complexities of outgrowing the past.” This isn’t a comeback - it’s a reckoning. Presented by Divergent Promotions. Described in John Robb's definitive book on 'post punk' (Death To Trad Rock) as 'The misfits' misfits' and comprising an ever fluctuating line-up, based around lyricist/singer Robert Lloyd, the Nightingales enjoyed cult status in the early 80s as darlings of the credible music scene and were championed by John Peel, who said of them: 'Their performances will serve to confirm their excellence when we are far enough distanced from the 1980s to look at the period rationally and other, infinitely better known, bands stand revealed as charlatans.' The group recorded a bunch of critically acclaimed singles (almost always 'Single Of The Week' in the music press) and three albums, plus many radio sessions for their great supporter Peel. They also regularly toured the UK and Northern Europe, as headliners and supporting acts as diverse as Bo Diddley and Nico. He tells a story to the crowd through his masterful lyrics, hip-swaying melodies, and attentiveness to his audience that makes each person in the venue feel special. Mike, Cole and Clark provide a soundscape that renders it impossible not to be swept away in the melodrama and passion of each song.
Jools

Jools

25 Feb 2026 - 7 Mar 2026

To experience Jools in their most chaotic and unpredictable full flight is, the band were once told, to not know whether you are about to be kicked in the face or kissed on the cheek. Even that, however, feels like an understatement. At any moment the Jools experience, on stage and on record, can turn on a sixpence from that of unbridled rage at the world to a celebration of the beauty that can still be found hidden in its murky corners. The punk rock of Jools is at once visceral and violent, cathartic and confrontational, and at the next exultant and exhilarating. Jools is duality by design, where contradiction is empowerment harnessed as a force for progress, sonically and societally. A collective of musicians – Mitch Gordon and Kate Price on vocals, Chris Johnston and Callum Connachie on guitar, Joe Dodd on Bass, and Chelsea Wrones on drums - spread between London and Leicester, Jools found each other as much by accident as design in the earliest days of 2023. Together, they serve as a creative confluence for inspirations that move from the punk and post-punk of The Smiths, Iggy Pop, PJ Harvey and Patti Smith, through the shoegaze of My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive, and into territories marked metal, rap and pop. “There’s an unconventional nature to our music that builds an intensity and a tension and an atmosphere that is uniquely Jools,” Gordon says of the band’s layered cacophony, from which his and Price’s mostly spoken word vocals explode. “Combining all of these sounds is in some ways deliberately counterintuitive, so that Jools does not conform and cannot be placed inside conventional genre boxes. I’m proud when people tell me that they find it hard to categorize our band. We’re simply Jools.” Such an ethos is carried throughout every facet of the band. If their music is often confrontational, sometimes fun, and always loud, the fashion of Jools is its equal, too, an embodiment of its spirit and message. “The freedom with which the band dresses is for us about reinforcing the ideal that people should be able to live their lives carefree and without judgment,” vocalist Kate Price begins. “Rock’n’roll and fashion have always gone hand in hand, and we are greatly inspired by the giants and the pioneers who have come before us and the theatrics of the shows they delivered. Fashion give us a freedom to reinvent ourselves any which way we choose, and to constantly challenge preconceptions of who and what Jools is.” The world of Jools is a space in which such progress and evolution can thrive. It’s there on stage, and it’s there in your headphones. Jools is a freedom of sound and freedom of self, an unfiltered expression of and search for truth, expressed with inextinguishable indignation. Be it a punch in the face or a kiss on the cheek, Jools is nothing if not a band to believe in. Presented by Love Thy Neighbour. This is an 18+ event
