Charlie Parr

Charlie Parr

19 May 2026 - 26 May 2026

An easily confused and very shy individual, Charlie Parr has been traveling around singing his songs ever since leaving Austin Minnesota in the 1980's in search of Spider John Koerner, whom he found about 100 miles north at the Viking Bar one Sunday night. The experience changed his life, made him more or less unemployable, and brings us to now: 13 recordings, 250 shows a year or more, 200,000 miles on a well broke in Kia, and a nasty fear of heights. Resonator fueled folk songs from Duluth Minnesota.
Matt Pryor (of The Get Up Kids)

Matt Pryor (of The Get Up Kids)

30 Apr 2026 - 8 May 2026

Kansas City, Missouri native, Matt Pryor, is a household name for anyone who was attuned to the second and third waves of emo. His genre-defining band, The Get Up Kids, were among a small and legendary group that has shaped the musical landscape for years. However, after growing tired of the boundaries it so needlessly applied, the internationally recognised frontrunners eventually transcended the genre with their later albums and found themselves at home with a more indie sound. Most recently, on his latest album under his given name, Matt Pryor has presented the world with The Salton Sea, and it is abundantly clear that this is the continuation of a decades-long love affair with music and being outright obsessed with song-writing. Steadfast fans of Pryor's prolific career will also find themselves treated to a style that is more reminiscent of the works of Paul Westerberg and Red House Painters, that is of course laden with Pryor's signature style, whose DNA is deeply rooted in artists like Elvis Costello and The Afghan Whigs.

Golomb

19 Aug 2026 - 28 Aug 2026

Molded in the fertile rock crescent of Columbus, Ohio, three-piece Golomb (rhymes with Column) channel Midwest friction into an album that seeks to find a genuine connection. The band boasts not one, but two bonded dynamics, something of an aberration among most trios. Siblings Xenia (bass) and Hawken (drums) tie down the rhythm section with songwriter/guitarist Mickey Shuman and Xenia turning their tags to spouse after years of dating. The close bonds between the members have fed into the band's process family and friends first and band second, leveraging years of trust to turn The Beat Goes On into an album that never wavers in its sincerity. Bounding through bluster like Loop one minute and hunkered down like Pixies pummeling pop's soft spots at Fort Apache the next. The underlying buzz on Real Power dips a few miles south of Columbus to channel Dayton's favorite sons, stitching together some clear-eyed clamor from the GBV playbook. The band lays it bare on Dog with a slow slink that builds toward the singed elegance of Spiritualized and a lyrical labyrinth that's cut and pasted into a Burroughs-esque blur of rock motifs. The song peaks in pure maelstrom with a glorious glut of feedback foaming out of the speakers. The familiar specter of The Velvets rears its head in the shambolic beat of the title track, and Other Side Of The Earth gets gooey with dub, but never loses the band's ability to feed the fray. Then, they wind guitar around their rhythms with the grace of early Built To Spill on Be Here Now, letting the sax twirls of Henry Ross send the song into the ether. Golomb was formed in 2019 by Mickey and Xenia. The couple briefly moved out of Ohio, before coming back in 2020 and settling into Xenia's folks house. Hawken joined the fold and the trio began a working relationship with engineer Keith Hanlon, capping off a series of self-released recordings with the 3-song Love EP in 2024. Hanlon is behind the board for The Beat Goes On, recorded at Musicol and Secret Studio in Columbus, showcasing a bigger, bolder dynamic that captured the band's live energy to tape. The album was then mixed by Drew Vandenberg at Chase Park Transductions in Athens, Georgia.

Treacherous Cretins Present… the Conceptual Continuity Tour - 60 Years of Frank Zappa
2026 marks 60 years since the release of Frank's debut album with The Mothers of Invention, Freak Out. In the 27-year-long career that followed, Frank's prolific output totalled 62 albums, with dozens more released posthumously since his passing in 1993. The Conceptual Continuity Tour promises to celebrate the depth and breadth of Frank's vast body of work, with the Cretins crafting a setlist that will take the audience through every era of his sound - from the late 1960s psychedelic sound of the Mothers of Invention, through to the progressive, politically-charged songs from his final 1988 tour. Expect your favourite Zappa classics, with a generous helping of deep cuts - including tracks never before performed live: even by Zappa himself. Note - unlike in previous years, Robert Bobby Martin will NOT be performing with Treacherous Cretins, due to ill health.

The Del Fuegos are an American rock and roll band. Formed in 1981, the group came of age in Boston and its members still consider themselves products of one of the city’s many musical golden ages. After signing with Slash Records, home of X, the Blasters, Los Lobos, Gun Club and more, the band released three records on the label, including their charting songs “Backseat Nothing,” “Don’t Run Wild” and “I Still Want You.” Touring internationally with acts including Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, ZZ Top, and INXS, the group made friends and fans among such notables as Robert Plant, Sam Phillips, Tom Petty and comedian Steven Wright. The relationship between brothers Warren Zanes and Dan Zanes, then and now, has been described as both “fractious” and “electric,” but the brothers, along with founding band member Tom Lloyd and drummer Woody Geissmann, have gone on to notable post-band successes. Dan won a Grammy and continues to record with his wife Claudia for Smithsonian/Folkways. Warren, a New York Times best-selling author of Tom Petty’s biography and more and Grammy-nominated documentary producer of Twenty Feet from Stardom and more, is an executive producer of the cinematic adaptation of his book, Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska. Tom, living in California, earned a Ph.D from CalTech and quietly remains the most successful of the bunch. Woody, a Boston-area fixture, founded Right Turn, an organization focused on recovery. Alice Costello

30 Sept 2026 - 16 Oct 2026

Alice Costelloe is breaking free on her upcoming EP 'When It's The Time'. The first release under her full name (previously operating under the Al Costelloe abbreviation) and her first having signed to much-heralded indie label Moshi Moshi Records, 'When It's The Time' - out 25th October finds Costelloe skilfully rendering nuanced emotions rooted in desire, and death. Sonically, the EP presents a captivating progression - introducing elements of art-pop (in no small part due to the EP's producer Mike Lindsay's "treasure chest of synths") to her optimistic, soothing indie-pop. Thematically, the EP poses questions about mortality, and "how to make yourself a better life in a world that often feels apocalyptic".Balancing a playful sense of optimism against the looming spectre of death; pillowy synths and celestial organs provide a warming backdrop for Alice's pristine voice and deft examinations of humanity. Their fourth studio album, which is self-titled, was produced by Flogging Molly founding member and Grammy winning producer Ted Hutt, and features Grammy winning blues legend Keb Mo. The album was released last summer via Signature Sounds Recordings to glowing reviews, five radio chart debuts, and two Billboard chart debuts on the Heatseekers Chart and Americana-Folk Chart. While the band launched with an old-time style and deeper bluegrass roots, they recently departed toward a more modern soul sound, still with their mixture of New Orleans sounds, Americana, a little blues, and roots-rock. The album has over 3 million streams on Spotify and the band had 260K+ monthly listeners for six months. In late 2017 they were honored with a special night sharing their story and music at The Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. From Outside Lands Music Festival: It was an old-time medicine show featuring the kind of roots musicwhose Americana swing was so fun I went back to see them again the next day. Rolling Stone Over the last five years Dustbowl has toured over 200 days per year and become known for their free-flowing and joyous live shows, combining their funk rhythm and brass section with a fast-picking string band section. Theyve opened for bands as diverse as Lake Street Dive, Trombone Shorty and The Preservation Hall Jazz Band, toured China as a guest of the state department and headlined festivals like Delfest, Floydfest, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, Bergenfest (Norway) and Tonder Festival (Denmark). The band received a big wave of attention with their music video that featured famous actor Dick Van Dyke for Never Had to Go, which garnered over 10 million cumulative views. Subsequently the band, song, and video were featured in HBO doc, If Youre Not in the Obit, Eat Breakfast which stars Jerry Seinfeld, Dick Van Dyke, and Mel Brooks. AWARDED BEST LIVE BAND IN LA! Marlon Funaki

Marlon Funaki

26 May 2026 - 27 May 2026

Communion ONE presents: Marlon Funaki Born and raised 40 miles east of Los Angeles and hailing from a multicultural, music-loving family, singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Marlon Funaki has long been fascinated by the exploration of sound. From a young age, Funaki was obsessed with the music his father played around the house while doing household chores and voraciously absorbing everything within earshot. Hearing bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zeppelin, My Bloody Valentine, and Pink Floyd, along with reggae, ‘70s Afro-funk, and ‘90s hip-hop, became significant influences, rather than the music he had played as a middle school student in symphonic and marching bands. As much as he loved playing his first instrument, drums, Funaki needed a creative outlet to explore the sounds he was interested in. Eventually, he left those restrictive band structures to join the school jazz band, which allowed at least a little more creative space where he’d play until he graduated high school. “Once I left band, I started digging into my own ideas or the sounds that I liked,” he says. Following the purchase of his first electric guitar (for which he sold his Xbox) when he was a sophomore in high school, Funaki became completely immersed with playing music. “Playing guitar was way cooler than gaming and it became an addiction,” he says, “my real passion. After learning guitar, I had to teach myself how to play all the instruments on my own.” Using the skills he learned as an avid gamer, Funaki pored over each note. He began mastering bass, drums, keys and started composing his own original material. After high school, Funaki started busking in downtown Redlands with a friend as often as he could, in hopes they would collect enough money in their guitar cases to fund their ride home. It often worked. People began to stop and listen as if entranced by what they heard. That became “enough of a success” for him to decide that making music was now his chosen full-time vocation. Funaki landed a job working at the local Guitar Center which allowed him to buy instruments and recording equipment and immediately invested endless hours into learning how to produce, mix, master, and record by himself. He took what he learned from listening to his father jam and started weaving his own disparate influences and tastes into something all his own. “My father never forced music on me,” he says. “I adapted and started loving it on my own. Eventually, I kind of branched out, did my own research to discover things that meant something to me.” Funaki’s skills and mastery of instrumentation blossomed exponentially. Once his brother moved out of the family home, he built a make-shift recording studio in the vacant bedroom; his prowess and confidence grew. So much so that he’d break and blend various styles to create a distinctly personal sound signature of his own design. With the wide-eyed motivation of a sonic scientist and the control of a skilled surgeon, Funaki was eager to finally deliver his songs to the unknowing world. He set aside four weeks off from his Guitar Center gig to immerse himself in his studio only taking breaks to eat and maybe sleep. He came away with enough good material which would become his first EP. In 2020, he self-released his debut 6-song EP, The Universal Language followed by his first full-length album Monterey Village, in 2022. Listeners around the globe would soon discover and embrace his ethereal yet emotive brand of floaty psychedelia, mixing equal parts atmospherics with youthful, guitar-driven energy into cinematic songflow. New tracks continued to follow, along with self-financed coast-to-coast tours powered by word of mouth buzzing about his passionate live shows that filled house and basement parties, which grew into warehouse shows and soon propelled onto the national club circuit, where every show would sell out well in advance. The word was no longer underground. Now signed to Warner Records, Funaki follows his own singular path, constantly searching and exploring new soundscapes that will continue to evolve and push the limits of creative expression free from any kind of genrefication. “I still don't think I've truly found my definitive, specific sound,” he says. “Yet I don't know if I ever will, which I think could be a good thing.” He craves being in a studio creating, allowing him to connect with his true self, free from restrictions, with only a pure passion to explore and grow in all directions that feel right to Funaki. “In a studio is where I can think and be the most vulnerable person I can be,” he says. “I can channel that into my art and my music.” A magnetic, engaging, natural on-stage personality backed by an equally potent band of like-minded friends that have the ability to kinetically respond to his compositions, Funaki has become one of the hottest and sharpest young musicians to emerge onto the indie scene. As much as he loves being on the road, creating and composing is where he’s at his most comfortable. It shows in his meticulous attention to detail, which has been channeled in his recordings. Funaki estimates that when composing his first recordings, he would dissect every aspect of each track and play every instrument himself in search of a perfect sound. “I'm a hermit crab,” he says. “I like to be in my studio. I love to make music. This is what I do when I’m not on tour.” After spending the better part of the past couple of years on the road playing to packed clubs filled with enthusiastic young fans, Funaki is excited to return to his Southern California home studio preparing his next set of genre-melding releases. His unique blend of soulful, psychedelic indie rock, with R&B, hip-hop and flourishes of shoegaze and jazz allows his muse to move in any/all directions at once and still come away sounding only like Marlon Funaki. His Warner Records debut track is a dreamy, Latin groove-infused “Let You In,” set for a January 9th release. In the months ahead, his yet-untitled forthcoming major label EP, finds the artist unafraid to explore all sonic possibilities, including the proggy “Skin,” are texturized, dizzying soul-driven journeys, while the deliberate melodies of “Trillion Things” and “Meant to Be” highlight Funaki’s lyrical prowess. “It still amazes me to this day that something that I made in my bedroom traveled this far,” he says of his rising popularity with an ever-growing global fan base. “It’s cool to see how far that music travels.” This is just the beginning of the next exciting chapter in a truly exciting musical universe. Weird Nightmare

Weird Nightmare

29 Aug 2026 - 5 Sept 2026

Every band worth its salt has a member who worked in a record store. In METZ, the fearless noise rock trio who released five full-length albums on Sub Pop between 2012 and 2024, it was singer and guitarist Alex Edkins. Slinging indie rock and hardcore records in his hometown record store while attending university, Edkins became an ardent student of rock 'n' roll; from the psychedelic 1960s to the DIY 1990s and beyond. The new Weird Nightmare album, Hoopla, mixes and matches these wide-ranging influences in fun, exhilarating combinations, showcasing his sophisticated musical mind. Bursting to life with hooks and earworms. Co-produced by Edkins and Spoon's Jim Eno at Seth Manchester's Machines With Magnets in Providence, RI. Edkins expands Weird Nightmare's dimensions to new heights, gilding the direct emotions of his straightforward songwriting with musical textures such as piano, bells, and castanets, giving these well-wrought tunes a shiny luster. Following the previously released single "Forever Elsewhere," which Stereogum called "... an undeniably infectious power-pop anthem", Weird Nightmare has shared an official video for their new song, "Might See You There," which was directed by CC Mulligan. Edkins shares about the track: "'Might See You There' is about going back to visit my hometown and being flooded with teenage nostalgia. Small-town boredom and isolation almost feel like a gift in today's highly connected world. I feel fortunate for that time spent idly, down in the basement, learning the entire Rancid 'Let's Go' album on guitar with my friends. I find it easy to romanticise that time in my life, even though I was, without question, a disgruntled kid who badly wanted to escape my surroundings and see the world. "I was listening to a lot of the Irish bands The Undertones and Protex while writing this one, and I think there is a fair bit of their influence. Just the simplicity and big bar chords mostly. Seth Manchester and I were very into the idea of adding piano and bells to the outro, akin to the Phil Spector-produced 'End of the Century' album by The Ramones. The great Julianna Riolino sings with me on the choruses, too!" Age restriction: 14+ / U16s accompanied by an adult
Linda Smith & Band + Trash Kit

Linda Smith & Band + Trash Kit

20 Aug 2026 - 20 Aug 2026

LINDA SMITH is a pioneer of home recording who self released her music originally on cassette starting in 1987. In the early 90's, indie labels Slumberland and Harriet Records expanded her reach with the release of two seven inch EPs. Recently, Brooklyn label Captured Tracks has reissued two complete albums on vinyl and she has begun to tour in the US and internationally for the first time. Upset The Rhythm released a recent split single between Smith and The Smashing Times last year too. Paste magazine called Linda Smith a hidden treasure of America's pop underground, while Jangle Pop Hub has written that essentially this is the best bedroom pop you are ever likely to hear, directly from an age that did not really know what to do with it. For this rare UK show Linda will be joined by her live band. https://lindasmith2.bandcamp.com/ TRASH KIT are Ray Aggs (guitar, vocals), Rachel Horwood (drums, vocals) and Clémentine March (bass). Three deeply creative individuals who play in a multitude of other groups including Bas Jan and Sacred Paws, not to mention their solo outings. Their songs once succinct, patchwork post-punk numbers of an honest diary-like nature now tussle more with long-form songwriting, expeditious polyphony and cascades of sung-spoke vocals. Although Trash Kit have their forebears in bands like Sleater Kinney, The Ex and The Raincoats, their sound is still very much their own take on facing forwards and relies as much on the naturalism of an internalised folk music as on their sincerity of vision. Since forming in 2009, Trash Kit have released three albums for Upset The Rhythm and a selection of singles. Trash Kit's approach to life as with music is one of openness, inclusion and potential and most recent album Horizon has this in dutiful abundance. https://upsettherhythm.bandcamp.com/album/horizon
Voxtrot

Voxtrot

25 Sept 2026 - 26 Sept 2026

Kili Presents by Arrangement with Pitch & Smith: Voxtrot Nearly two decades after their 2007 debut and a 2010-2022 hiatus, Austin, TX’s Voxtrot return with Dreamers in Exile, a new LP that turns an underdog story into a true second act. The band who quietly became cult heroes in the streaming era deliver a record that carries the electric rush longtime fans remember while speaking directly to the new generation of youth who discovered them through playlists and word of mouth. Musically, Dreamers in Exile folds Voxtrot’s classic DNA-C86 sparkle, Sarah Records romanticism, the pulse of The Velvet Underground, the elegance of Felt-into a sharper, more confident sound. Guitars chime and sprint, rhythms push forward, and Ramesh Srivastava’s literate, heart-forward lyrics trace the distance between youth and maturity, exile and home, regret and renewal. Mixed by Dean Reid (Lana Del Rey, James Blake), it reads as both reintroduction and redemption. For a band born of the 2000s blog wave alongside Vampire Weekend, The National, and Grizzly Bear, Dreamers in Exile is less nostalgia than proof of life. It’s the sound of a beloved group returning on their own terms and finding their songs resonating more widely than ever. Presented by Kilimanjaro and Pitch & Smith. This is an 18+ event.

Dazzling Killmen

Dazzling Killmen

7 Oct 2026 - 7 Oct 2026

Baba Yaga's Hut Presents: Dazzling Killmen at The Lexington, 7.10.2026 Foundational math rock / post-metal / jazz-core band Dazzling Killmen have announced they have re-formed and will be performing live again starting in September of 2025. Founding members, vocalist/guitarist Nick Sakes and drummer Blake Fleming will be playing together for the first time since disbanding 30 years ago. The two will be joined by bassist Evan Jagels and guitarist Ben Greenberg of the band Uniform. Dazzling Killmen formed in the St. Louis area in 1990 and was composed of vocalist/guitarist Nick Sakes and jazz students - drummer Blake Fleming and bassist Darin Gray. The group issued four singles, a live cassette and two full-lengths before officially ending in 1995, with a majority of it released through the independent label SKiN GRAFT Records. Guitarist Tim Garrigan later joined the band after guesting on their “Medicine Me” single. The group would break up in the fall of 1995, prior to a planned tour of Japan with Jim O’Rourke, Melt-Banana, Space Streakings and Zeni Geva. Sakes went on to play in the band Colossamite with future Deerhoof members Ed Rodriguez and John Dieterich. He is currently a member of the Minneapolis post-hardcore trio Upright Forms, who released their debut LP “Blurred Wires” last year. Fleming was the founding drummer of Laddio Bolocko and then The Mars Volta. He recently performed with Jagels in the band Shatter on Impact, as heard on SKiN GRAFT’s “Sounds To Make You Shudder!” Halloween compilation. Taking influence from hardcore punk and jazz music, Dazzling Killmen has been noted by critics and peers as having influenced the genres that came to be known as math rock and post-metal. The band’s final album “Face of Collapse” was reissued in a deluxe, expanded edition in 2016 and again in 2022 in by SKiN GRAFT Records. Presented by Baba Yaga's Hut. This is an 18+ event
Joe Carnall Jnr

Joe Carnall Jnr

22 May 2026 - 13 Jun 2026

Twenty years after the release of Well Well Well, Joe Carnall Jnr returns to the songs that helped define a generation of Northern indie rock. As frontman of Milburn, Carnall's sharp storytelling, kitchen-sink wit and anthemic hooks captured the restless spirit of mid-2000s Britain and Well Well Well became a landmark debut that still resonates today. Now, two decades on, Carnall is marking the anniversary with an intimate run of shows that strip the record back to its raw essence. These special performances revisit the album's sharp-edged charm and emotional punch, offering fans a rare chance to experience the songs up close louder in feeling, closer in connection. From the wry observational lyricism to the punchy, melodic urgency that defined Milburn's early sound, Well Well Well remains a snapshot of youth, grit and ambition.
The Kids (Belgian 1976 Punk Legends Play Their First Ever UK Gig)
The Kids were founded in 1976 and are therefore one of the oldest surviving Punk bands, both in Belgium and worldwide. Their eponymous debut album is widely considered an unequaled classic, still capable of influencing generation upon generation. Their concerts are characterized by the well-known overdose of energy, with the same outbursts of fast-paced riffs and pounding drums, leaving no room for redundant embellishments, pointless banter or even a few seconds to take a breath. In 2026, the band will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a series of concerts in Belgium and around the world. Support comes from 1977 Roxy Club alumni UNORFADOX and cabaret punks MONKISH.

The Animeros

The Animeros

5 May 2026 - 5 May 2026

With musical notes that span well beyond genres like bolero, psychedelic, and cumbia, The Animeros not only make their audience hit the dance floor, but they also invite their listeners and tastemakers alike to a glimpse of their rich cultural upbringing. The group who is made up of Nick Tozzo (drummer and percussionist), Nicolas Sanchez (bassist), and Mauro Lopez (guitarist) craft a genre-blending sound that drifts between the lush jungles of Colombia, the palm-lined streets of 1960s coastal Mexico, and the dusty cantinas of West Texas. Sanchez’s Colombian roots, growing up listening to his parents’ beloved salsa and cumbia; Lopez’s parents’ Mexican and American discography, which spanned from traditional Tejano to improvised jazz; and Tozzo’s love for jazz and salsa music, the latter stemming from his college years, leading him to study and live in Colombia to experience music greats first-handedly. All of this, paired with their undeniable chemistry and meshed with their now hometown Austin’s innovative creative sounds has led them to create the unique sonic movement that is The Animeros, a name inspired by Colombian shamans who would usher lost souls to their peace. Their journey took an unexpected turn when their music reached the ears of Dan Auerbach, the Grammy Award winning producer, songwriter, and frontman of The Black Keys. Auerbach first heard them by chance, music floating from an open hotel window that stopped him in his tracks. Captivated, he made a note to track them down, and within a year, that chance encounter led to something bigger. Now signed to Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound label, The Animeros are preparing to release their debut album next year, produced exclusively by Auerbach himself. “I feel like it's only a matter of time for these guys and for the music that they play. All they have to do is be themselves,” Auerbach said about the trio. “They're playing the kind of music that they can play forever until they're 100 years old because it's rooted in history, but it's very much in the present.” “When we first talked, one of the things was our love for the nuance in Latin music,” Lopez shared. “That's what initially drew ourselves to each other... That's like a language among musicians.” Tozzo also talked about their shared musical bond: “What makes our chemistry special is that even if one of us has just a glimpse of an idea, together we can take that and really create something out of it.” “That encyclopedia of \[music\] knowledge everyone brings...That's what's really appealing about this project. It's not just surface level. Everybody's going pretty deep on it,” Sanchez added. The Animeros are on the cusp of reaching new audiences all over the globe. More singles are coming with a new album on the way in 2026 via Easy Eye Sound. Marty O'Reilly

Marty O'Reilly

12 Jul 2026 - 12 Jul 2026

There's something about Marty OReilly's music that feels like it's always been here, like an old story being told in a new way. His voice is raw and real, his guitar playing gritty and soulful. It's music that doesnt try to be anything other than honest, and that's why it hits so hard. He pulls inspiration from the roots of Americana; his sound references folk greats like Woody Guthrie, blues legends like Howlin Wolf, gospel pioneers like Sister Rosetta Thorpe, and master storytellers like Tom Waits. It's a sound that captivates and connects audiences, and leaves them wanting more. His live shows arent just concerts, theyre cathartic experiences. One moment it's soft and haunting, the next it's wild and electric. The kind that stay with you long after the lights come up. But it's not just about the sound. Marty's songs dig deep into the human experience, loneliness, connection, love, loss. Whether it's an intimate solo set or a full band show, he makes every audience feel like theyre part of the story. Over the years, Marty has built a dedicated following through relentless touring and staying true to his craft. He's shared the stage with artists like Shakey Graves, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Sarah Jarosz, and Alice ODonovan and played at festivals like Bottlerock, SXSW, and High Sierra Music Festival, but his focus has always been on making music that means something. Marty has poured everything into his music, spending years on the road, self-funding his albums, and navigating the ups and downs of life as an independent artist, husband, and father. But through it all, he's never lost sight of why he started: to make honest music that connects. If youre looking for music that feels real, that makes you stop and listen, Marty OReilly is someone you need to hear.
Imogen and the Knife

Imogen and the Knife

17 May 2026 - 2 Jun 2026

Forged in Newcastle, honed in South-East London, Imogen and the Knife is carving an incandescent path through alternative pop. As is the way with the Northern songwriter coterie, Imogen has remarkable capacity to elicit a deeply emotional response from her audience, her artistry ground on the wheels of the north and community. With vocal performances of depth, vulnerability and control, Imogen articulates an intimate yet social experience, often exploring themes drawn from her upbringing and her complex relationship with the body. Joining the dots along a jagged line of influences from Kate Bush, Nick Cave, Fiona Apple, Rufus Wainwright and more, Imogen and the Knife crafts a unique world that glints with intrigue in each new track - from rhythmic swells and brooding orchestral arrangements to the grounded haunting trademark of her piano and vocal performance. Poignant song writing is brought to life with moments of quiet reflection and fresh, full-bodied instrumentals. Imogen uses 'the Knife' as a powerful symbol of reclamation. Embracing the surgical knife, a motif that has threaded its way through her life and writing, she transforms it into a conduit for artistic expression. It embodies the precision and clarity found in her lyrics and delivery, allowing the message to cut through, leaving an indelible mark on her listeners.

Having fronted revered Manchester cult heroes The Travelling Band for over a decade, the multi-instrumentalist has also made his name playing piano for other artists including Ren Harvieu, Aldous Harding, James Walsh and Lissie (the latter invited him to open on her world tour in 2019). The soul-piano of Nuclear Love (Demo) is a hint of what's to come, and with more music due in the new year this an opportunity to see something from the very beginning. Not to be missed! Unlucky In Love - https://youtu.be/BUUHMrCGQxA Pain In My Heart - https://youtu.be/abzUn4Z1qxI Jenny Don’t and the Spurs have been pioneering their own path in the music world for over a dozen years. Known for their high-energy Country Western style and captivating stage presence, they've garnered a global following with their infectious enthusiasm, and extensive discography, featuring three albums, an EP, and nine singles. Their 2021 LP, Fire on the Ridge, expanded their horizons, leading them on tours to continents where few other country bands have had the opportunity to perform, affirming their formidable presence in the country music scene. This latest release, "Broken Hearted Blue," set to debut on June 14th, 2024, adds even more fuel to their fire. With their exciting new album, Broken Hearted Blue Jenny Don’t and the Spurs present 10 dynamic songs that channel the essence of the Northwest’s music sounds while evoking the nostalgia of the Western frontier. The album bursts forth with the explosive energy of the opening track, "Flyin' High," akin to a wild horse spurred by a crack of lightning. The song skillfully merges the band's garage-rock origins with their distinct western sound, characterized by a driving tempo and gritty fuzz tones. From the outset, this album asserts itself as a standout in the country music scene, with its high-octane rockin' western delivery approach setting it apart from the herd. Jenny Don’t earned her moniker in her youth for her strong-willed and independent nature, often defying authority figures much to their consternation. This inherent rebelliousness led her to resonate with the authentic outlaw spirit of Country Western music. Such influences shine through in songs like "Pain in my Heart” and “One More Night,” where the band channels the bold attitude and vocal style reminiscent of classic country legends like Johnny Paycheck and George Jones. Their music authentically captures the outlaw spirit while paying homage to the genre's iconic figures. Born in New Mexico, Jenny later relocated to Washington state at a young age. Growing up, she navigated the contrasting landscapes of the lush Pacific Northwest and the vast Southwestern desert, which greatly influenced her songwriting. In the title track "Broken Hearted Blue," Jenny's haunting vocals capture the intensity of a fleeting romantic moment, complemented by lead guitarist Christopher March's guitar work, which echoes the haunting allure of the desert night sky with its reverb-drenched tones. Growing up poor in a tiny rural Washington community, Jenny spent her early years living in a converted single-wide trailer. Spending her summers herding cows and catching garter snakes in the tall grass, she could only dream of traveling to the kinds of exotic locales to which the band’s tours have taken her. The song “You’re What I Need” is an ode to the fans whose support has made this possible. “Traveling the world as a musician and experiencing the enthusiasm of our fans who come to see us is an incredible feeling that's difficult to put into words” says Don’t. “We all feel immense gratitude towards everyone who has supported us through the years. They’re the ones who’ve inspired ‘You’re What I Need.’ Broken Hearted Blue is a significant milestone, as it marks Buddy Weeks' debut on drums. The loss of longtime drummer Sam Henry (The Wipers, Poison Idea, Napalm Beach) to cancer in 2022 was a devastating blow that would have halted many bands. However, instead of slowing down, the band intensified their touring and recording efforts, determined to honor Sam's legacy by forging ahead with their musical journey. Weeks' inclusion in the band marks not only a new chapter but also adds a fresh perspective and energy, symbolizing their resilience. With "Bones in the Sand," Jenny Don’t and the Spurs draw from that profound experience, crafting a song that intricately blends dark and luminous sonic textures. March's resonant low baritone guitar captures the somber tones of loss, contrasting with the vibrant shimmer of the 12-string acoustic guitar, symbolizing hope and resilience. Together, the band constructs a rich musical narrative that reflects the multifaceted nature of the experience, while the vocals offer insight and guide the listener through the emotional exploration. “Despite the loss we faced, our band's core and aspirations remain steadfast. With the release of our new album, we're embarking on a new trail that bridges our past experiences with the promise of what's yet to come,” explains Don’t. “We’ve got a lot of open road ahead of us.” Produced by Collin Hegna (Brian Jonestown Massacre, Federale), this album is a testament to Hegna's meticulous craftsmanship. With his guidance, Jenny Don’t and the Spurs have created a musical tapestry that highlights each member's talents. “On this album, bass player Kelly Halliburton and I collaborated more closely than ever, shaping most of the musical parts together”, reflecting on their growth both as a couple and as a band. Jenny expresses, "We're just fed up with mainstream music's repetitive nature and the confines of genres. Each of us brings our own musical flavors to the table, emphasizing the importance of authenticity over conformity. Our music pulls from a variety of genres, which can be a bit tricky to define. But Collin really nailed it, capturing our blend of country, rock and roll, with that added touch of Western charm." Broken Hearted Blue presents a cohesive assortment of varied tracks. From the thunderous bass lines of the instrumental "Sidewinder" to the infectious melodies of "Unlucky Love," reminiscent of Lee Hazelwood's 60s style, each song possesses its own distinct charm while seamlessly upholding the album's western essence. Much like the rhinestones on their custom outfits, handcrafted by Jenny herself, the album shines brightly, illustrating the band's dedication to creating memorable and authentic music. The Sinclairs + The Masonics

31 Jul 2026 - 31 Jul 2026

The Sinclairs are all about imagination getting the better of a sensible plan. The Sinclairs is the collaboration of two old friends, Rat Scabies (The Damned etc) & Billy Shinbone, (Flipron, Neville Staple) swapping files & talking for hours on the phone every night, then calling on other old friends & making records. In 2019 what started out as a small side-project playing surf-rock instrumentals quickly morphed into a world of psychedelic, gurgly electronic soundtracks for their first and critically acclaimed 2020 debut album "Sparkle". Sophomore album The Long Slow Death Of A Cigarette found them breaking out even further, adding guest vocalists to a mix of skittery garage rock, arctic ambience, fuzzy orchestral pop & the odd dusty torch song. So now there is a brand new single on their new label, UK based purveyors of garage & psyche,- Spinout Nuggets. The Sinclairs will be launching this new double A-side to the world at The Lexington on Saturday 1st August. There will be guests & support from their splendid label mates The Masonics.
