Feeling Gloomy & Old School Indie DJs will be playing a mix of indie classics from across the decades so whether you were an 70s punk, 80s new waver, 90s britpopper or early 00s poser they'll be something for everyone.

John Digweed is coming to The Prog Lab. Booking John has been a lifelong goal for us, and were beyond excited to finally make it happen. On Saturday, 2nd May, John Digweed plays a rare three-hour solo set at The Loco Klub, Bristol, for The Prog Lab 8th Anniversary. His first solo club set in Bristol in nearly a decade. Were also very happy to welcome Redfreya back after her superb set at our last anniversary show. The Prog Lab residents The Prog Lab DJs, Matt Bird & Samu3l will get proceedings underway.

Big bass and breaks on a big ol soundsystem - Tuff breaks are looking forward to shaking up the Bristol bass scene with some fresh talent from afar, bringing production wizard and talk of the scene DJ Sprinter over from Oslo for his debut appearance, alongside iconic curator Jay Carder and her masterful blend of UK techno, bass, dubstep, jungle, and footwork. Not to mention colourful top notch support acts and big energy from Tuff Breaks residents, all powered by the majestic NHZ Soundsystem. Come on down for a dance and bring your fans, itll be a hot one. ---------- Line Up ---------- Jay Carder Jay Carders genre-warping approach to DJing and production has made waves over the past Decade. Holding down a regular slot on Rinse FM, and performing everywhere from Glastonbury and Fu-sion Festival to Canadas seminal Bass Coast, her fluid sets and intoxicatingly positive energy are in increasingly high demand. We are obsessed with Jay Carders energy behind the decks and radio shows DJ Sprinter Though hes not been on the block for long, Oslos DJ Sprinter has been quick to get his name across the club circuit and into the USBs of top shellers like Ben UFO, Pearson Sound, and Call Super. Hugely influenced by the sonics and pockets of UK bass music, breakbeats and deconstructed club hes recently delivered high energy sets on places like Rinse, HÖR and Piñata Radio. Delian Sound Delian Sound is a London-born, Cambridge-based producer who makes music inspired by the 2002-2003 proto-Dubstep scene, and featuring samples from early electronic pioneers and the finest latin wax. Delian Sound has released on labels including Dimeshift, Dance Regular and ec2a, and recently self-released his first 12" single 'Gangsta / Gangsta (VIP)'. He's shared line ups with Horsepower Productions, Nancy June and IZCO, and his productions have regular support from DJs including Mia Koden, Beatrice M., Breaka and Riz La Teef. Darz (Percy Digs) Sound sculptor and scene instigator, Percy Digs founder Darz brings the ethos of the page to the dance and to the airwaves with a monthly residency on Subtle Radio. What began as an online archive of UK underground culture now comes alive through carefully curated shows and sets that connect past, present, and future of UK underground music. Expect a broad spectrum of sounds rooted in UK soundsystem culture from house, techno, and garage to jungle, dubstep, breaks, and beyond carrying the same eclectic spirit that has defined the scene for decades. Rose Holland Rose Holland is a Bristol-based producer, vocalist, and DJ creating a distinct blend of vocal-led bass music. Her DJ sets fuse bass-heavy funky and breaks with genre-bending curveballs and leftfield UK electronica, drawing on her love for sound system culture and emotionally charged dance music. 2025 saw her perform at Boomtown, Glastonbury, Document Bristol, Forwards and debut her live DJ/vocal set at We Out Here. Her radio residency on SWU/Rinse FM champions new music and independent artists, reflecting the depth and diversity of her collection and musical taste, and her latest project, 4 track vocal focussed Daybreak EP on Faux Poly, received widespread support from Mixmag, Beatport, BBC Radio 1 and more. Tuff Breaks Residents Albi NHZ, House of Fraser, Rowan Ash, and Luna, will be hopping on a 4 way B2B merging razor edged breaks, girly booty bangers, steppy percussive numbers, and a little bit of jungle of to lift the spirits and push the boundaries.
