The Rollin'Stoned

The Rollin'Stoned

18 Apr 2026 - 18 Apr 2026

A RocknRoll Circus is coming to town everything seems to be ready... is everyone ready? A tribute to The Rolling Stones focusing on the early part of their career from 1964 - 1969 including Jumping Jack Flash, Paint It Black, Not Fade Away and Satisfaction. They have been described by The Times as better than the real thing and have been revered by both Stones fans for their authenticity and the real Stones who booked them for the bands birthday. With a Rollin Stoned show, the costumes are shamelessly camp gaudy and fab, the instruments genuinely vintage and the wit irreverent. However while the tongue is never far from the cheek we make sure it is never to the detriment of the music. A typical two hour show includes not only all the classic crowd pleasing hits, but is spiced with enough eclectic selections from the deeper recesses of Stones Album archives to satisfy the most demanding of Buffs, all performed with the same vibrantly authentic attack and raw energy that characterised the original Stones shows in their prime. For those who witnessed the Stones - Brian Jones et al - in their hey Day, this is a chance to revisit lost youth, for the rest of you, nows your chance to see what all the fuss was about. Named Best Tribute Band in the UK by The Stage Magazine. Keith Richards own mother, Doris, was kind enough to describe us as outstanding and fit to stand in for the Stones which is about as good an endorsement as any could wish. "....probably more authentic than the Stones themselves would be inclined to muster" The Times "phenomenal... I can't wait to tell Keith and Mick that you could easily stand in for them" Doris Richards (Keith's Mum) "A magnificent Mick... exquisitely designed costumes... spot-on guitar playing" Mail On Sunday "The song selection is what makes a Rollin Stoned show special" Mail On Sunday "...like watching my dad" Keith's daughter Angela "...about as true to the original as you can get." Times Magazine "A magnificent Mick... exquisitely designed costumes... spot-on guitar playing" Mail On Sunday "...Close your eyes! This must be the Stones at their absolute best!!" Alchemy Live!

Alchemy Live!

5 Jun 2026 - 5 Jun 2026

Alchemy Live were formed in 2020 by life long Dire Straits fans Martin Ledger and Neil Scott. Having dreamed of starting a Dire Straits tribute band for many years but neither having the time to do it due to both being busy full time musicians, the COVID pandemic and resultant lockdowns gave them that time in abundance. Rehearsals started in 2021 after the worst of the pandemic was over & their first show scheduled in York for Friday the 13th of May 2022 (what could possibly go wrong)? Much to the band's surprise, their inaugural show quickly sold out and many were turned away at the door without tickets. Further sell out shows followed around Yorkshire during the year and in January 2023 the band made their move into theatre shows. "It has always been the ethos to concentrate on getting the music and sound right rather than just putting on headbands and shiny jackets. Dire Straits themselves were always about the music first and we are fully committed to upholding that" says front man Martin Ledger. Every song choice is taken from a specific, classic live performance in Dire Straits' history, for example the show's opening song Money For Nothing is taken from their legendary performance at Live aid in 1985 and played note for note, except for the part where guest artist Sting sings the wrong words in the second verse! Such attention to detail is carried on throughout the band's tribute show, with every nuance of Mark Knopfler's playing technique followed faithfully. "He has these little percussive flourishes in his playing, which are really difficult to recreate but without them it's just not Knopfler" - Martin ledger.

Ryedale Blues Club - Bison Hip

Ryedale Blues Club - Bison Hip

29 Oct 2026 - 29 Oct 2026

Weve arrived at the party fashionably late. Bison Hip were formed by long-time friends during a lockdown Zoom call in 2020. "I don't know who actually suggested it first," explains vocalist Paul, "but right away it just seemed like a great idea. Maybe it was the mid life crisis at play!" The band are all over 50, with the exception of keyboard player and spring chicken Steven, who clocks in at a youthful 40. By the time they finally got together in early 2021, the blueprint was clear. "We wanted to take our love of blues and rock, and mix up with our experiences of life," adds Paul. "Between us, we've been through so many things in life, ups and downs, some successes and plenty of failures - we wanted all that in the music. We needed to wrap it up in the DNA of our hometown, Glasgow, and hopefully that's what we've achieved." The ethos is clear: real musicians, real instruments, no click tracks, culminating in a unique blues rock sound with real life stories. With the release of their debut EP Dear Greens and Blues in March 2022, Bison Hip have hit the ground running.

Alfie Moore: Acopalypse Now

17 Apr 2026 - 26 Nov 2026

The Four Horsemen of Rising Crime, Global Warming, AI and Culture Wars are galloping towards us. Are we on the road to hell? And can we avoid the potholes? In his brand new tour show 'Fair Cop' Alfie has the antidote to the breakdown of law and order, fake news and the price of baked beans. Somewhere in a parallel universe little Alfie’s natural comedic performance skills were recognised by his doting parents who encouraged and developed his blossoming talent. After several years as a stage school brat Alfie’s angelic face was launched on stage and screen and the rest is history. Meanwhile, in this universe Alfie Moore was told to stop messing about in class before being ‘encouraged’ into the grinding, grimy world of an apprenticeship in the Sheffield steelworks. When recession hit he traded steel for copper by joining Humberside Police. In his 40s the two universes collided when Alfie made a bid for showbiz success – but unfortunately 30 years of shift-work and being punched in the face quite a lot, had left him with ‘a face for radio’. A face not so much ‘lived in’ as inhabited by a settlement of squatters with little regard to property maintenance and repair.

Hyde Family Jam is Yorkshires premier function band. From weddings to parties, festivals, and corporate gatherings, their performances create an unforgettable atmosphere. Prepare for a unique fusion of irreverent covers, folk instruments, and punk energy playing pop bangers: a one-of-a-kind musical journey. Hyde Family Jam have been bringing their lively show to the streets and stages of York since forming in 2014. They started out busking in 2017, going on to win York Culture's Best Buskers award the next year. While they've since played some major festivals and venues across the UK and Europe, this band stays true to their roots, frequently hitting the streets of York to share their folk-infused sound. Their high-energy pop covers on folk instruments have even landed them spots in two Netflix movies. With thousands of devoted local fans and rave reviews, this is a band that stays true to its hometown roots, making every performance, whether a massive festival or tiny pub gig, into an infectious party.
Marrakesh Express - A Tribute to Crosby Stills & Nash
A live performance of music from Crosby Stills Nash & Young: remarkable music from a remarkable time. The Marrakesh Express are John Butler, Rick Wilson, and Adam Ellis. Together these three great voices deliver a note perfect performance of some of the finest harmony singing in all music. Telling the story of the formation of this super-group and including songs from The Hollies, The Byrds and Buffalo Springfield, the band take the audience back to a time of protest, revolution, dropping out, and making great music. This is the only show of its kind, and a truly brilliant night’s entertainment.
Ryedale Blues Club - Tom Davies & The Bluebirds
The current line-up came together in early 2022 and is based in the southern part of Hampshire, nestled between the New Forest and the South Downs. Weve already been to Ireland a few times to play at the Belfast Empire and the Button Factory in Dublin, alongside Eric Bell and Gerry Quigley, to support the campaign to build a statue to celebrate the life and work of Gary Moore. Weve continued to consolidate our reputation in 2024 with further trips to the Ballyshannon Rory Gallagher festival, Tenby Blues festival, the Wickham festival and Victorious as well as the pubs and clubs that mean so much to us.
