Ben Pope ('a total delight' - Fest) brings his brand-new UK stand-up tour to Brighton.   Look, there's no easy way to put this. Last year, Ben got circumcised. On purpose, and as recommended by medical professionals. This show is a 55min inventory of his ensuing masculine panic. Expect jokes and stories on: the male ego, pillow talk, charity shops, the sublime mystery of having a father, and also exactly one pig.   It's a show about losing a part of yourself. A very specific part. See you there. Chop chop.

A Note To Remember #2

8 Jun 2025 - 8 Jun 2025

After a super successful first event at the beginning of the year we are back for ANTR #2! Join us for an evening of brand new musical theatre writing from Scotland based artists! We have paired writers up with performers and creatives to help bring their pieces to life - possibly for the first time. At ANTR we aim to create a safe space for both experienced creatives and MT beginners alike to come together and celebrate their work. It's a great opportunity for anyone interested in musicals to see new work, help provide feedback to emerging writers/composers and network with some fantastic fellow artists! It's going to be FUN. It's going to be MUSICAL. It's going to be A NIGHT TO REMEMBER! ...I mean note.

Persistent & Nasty _and friends

Persistent & Nasty _and friends

20 Jul 2025 - 20 Jul 2025

full line-up TBA _and friends is a live performance and artist development initiative founded by Catriona MacLeod in 2024. We run a rehearsal space as part of the Outer Spaces network that we offer to artists free of charge, and produce scratch nights in Glasgow three times a year. Each night is curated by a different artist from the pool of talent in their circle - one of the best things about the creative industries is that our colleagues often become our friends, and our nights are a chance to celebrate the connections we make through our work. We deeply care about changing the landscape of the industry so individuals feel seen and heard, and are able to continue their creative practice in a mindful and sustainable way. Persistent and Nasty is a Glasgow-based intersectional feminist arts collective, podcast, and platform for change in the stage and screen industries. Were loud and proud about pushing for equity and radical kindness in the arts and beyond. As Scotland's first and best feminist arts podcast, we champion voices that dont often get handed the mic women, non-binary, trans, and marginalised creatives. Our goal is to change the cultural narrative through the stories we tell and we do that through community, disruption, and joy.
