The Other Palace

The Other Palace is the West End's newest theatre by some distance, opening in 2012 on the site of the Westminster Theatre, which had been almost destroyed by fire. The Other Palace was designed to meet the need for a theatre in the district that could house smaller, more off-Broadway-scaled productions; it has a 312-seat theatre and 100-seat studio space. Food is served in The Other Naughty Piglet and drinks are available from the main bar and studio bar. In keeping with the theatre's scale, shows on the main stage tend to have relatively limited runs; previous successes includ Tell Me On A Sunday and the hit Urinetown. The studio offers an ever-changing lineup of cabaret, theatre, comedy and jazz. The nearest Tube and surface rail station is Victoria. The theatre is served by bus routes 16, 38, 52, 73, 82, 42 and 148.

Good For Her!

Good For Her!

20 Jul 2026 - 25 Jul 2026

Iris is broke, exhausted, and running out of time. She’s spent years chasing a version of success that always seems just out of reach, haunted by the belief that if she stops she’ll disappear entirely. Between humiliating auditions and obsessive doom scrolling (mostly stalking a girl from school who somehow got everything right), something darker is demanding her attention: her mother. Her mother’s voice is always ringing in her ears. Thinner, better, more. But now, as her mother grows weaker and begins to depend on her, the pressure hasn’t lifted. It’s just changed shape. And Iris is starting to unravel. Good For Her! is a comedy-thriller about ambition, womanhood, and the quiet violence of building a life on someone else’s terms. Written and performed by Mollie Semple and directed by Kayla Stokes, this acclaimed solo show blends live performance with projections and voiceover to create an immersive, fractured world where the noise never stops and Iris is never truly alone.
