Robot Vacuum Fight Club

9 Aug 2026 - 30 Aug 2026

International Ghost Society Form a team, select a knockoff Roomba, customise it, then clean house in a series of knockout competitions that test balance, agility and suction power. The winning team receives honour, glory and maybe some exclusive RVFC merch. This is an anarchic, fully-interactive game show put together on an extremely tight budget with dodgy home appliances we bought off Temu. If you like Robot Wars... this is nothing like it, but you should come along anyhow. 'The best interactive experience ever...' (Adelaide Fringe Audience Review, 2026). 'A wonderfully daft idea... Spider Witches of Appalachia

Spider Witches of Appalachia

8 Aug 2026 - 30 Aug 2026

Jenna Baer / PBH's Free Fringe Continuing the oral storytelling traditions of her lineage blended with theatre, Jenna Baer traces threads connecting generations. As the last Spider Witch, she weaves stories of five generations of her family: Appalachian healers, midwives, regular women and rebels who pass along their survival and power through folklore and folk medicine. Like a spider's web, inheritance doesn't move in straight lines. Knowledge skips generations, spirals, back, tangles and repairs itself. What do we inherit from those who came before us? What must we untangle to set ourselves free? None Age category: 16+

Reincarnation and Other Myths

17 Aug 2026 - 19 Aug 2026

Kate Kerning / PBH's Free Fringe Over a decade ago and a few miles south of Edinburgh, Kate Kerning completed a doctorate in literature that she resigned herself to never using. Now, her overabundance of degrees have found a new home in song writing. Reincarnation and Other Myths is a free tour of Kate's rediscovery of language and music outside of academia, featuring all original songs for guitar and voice: intricate, compelling acoustic songs about everything from Greek mythology, to borrowed grief, to doomed 19th-century Arctic explorers.
