Coming straight out of Newport The GLC are officially Britain’s biggest rap group. Known for classics like “Guns don’t kill people rappers do”, The GLC started almost by accident around the turn of the century with Eggsy’s impromptu rap about his tracksuit over a serious piece of music Rhys was working on in the studio. Adam Hussain, Billy Webb, Mystkal, the Maggot, 2hats and Mike Balls convinced Rhys to record the rap. Fuelled by Lambrini, fags, Chicken Tikka Massala and weed they all took to the mic and The GLC’s first album “Don’t Blame the Chain” was born. And so it began, the journey which has so far seen The GLC rise to the top of the charts, perform around the world and at every major festival in the Western Hemisphere and make millions of people laugh along the way. Now many years since that first rap about Eggsy’s tracksuit, the boys are still keeping it real in the rap game and hold the title of the most successful UK rap act ever. To date The GLC have released 18 albums… and amazingly none of them have died yet. You knows it! GLC (Live) plus special guests

The band's iconic and fiery front woman, Saffron, Tim Dorney (keyboard) and Johnny Male (guitar) rode the Britpop wave of female-fronted rock bands like Sleeper, Elastica, Garbage and Lush, injecting it with their self-dubbed 'techno-pop, punk rock' sound. Between 1996 and 1999, Republica sold an incredible 3 million albums and clinched Top 5 slots in the UK, America and Europe with platinum sales across the globe, while their hit single ‘Ready to Go’ soared to Number One in many countries. The band has never really been away, with their music becoming the soundtrack to the past few decades – ‘Ready to Go’ featured on more than 300 films and adverts and Wes Craven selected their hit single, ‘Drop Dead Gorgeous’ for the soundtrack to his hit movie Scream and invited them to perform at its Hollywood premiere. With her unique sound and iconic image, it is only natural that Saffron has been in demand from a host of the world's biggest music acts, including The Prodigy, who used her vocals on ‘Fuel My Fire’ from their critically-acclaimed ‘Fat of the Land’ album. Saffron also worked with The Cure on single ‘Just Say Yes’; collaborated with Junkie XL for his 2003 album ‘Radio JXL: A Broadcast from the Computer Hell Cabin’ and scored a number one dance single with him; she duetted with Gary Numan, recorded ‘Pork-U-Pine’ with Jeff Beck for his album, ‘Jeff’; worked with DJ Carl Cox on ‘Get What You Paid 4’ and also worked with artists including Jah Wobble - who wrote ‘World Of You’ for her - N-Joi - performing on their hit, ‘Anthem’ - Mark Moore, St Etienne and The Shamen. Impossible to categorise, Slice Of Life's music is up-front and soul-baringly personal. It's a mixture of songs and spoken word that draws you in and stays with you long after the final note has been played. Debut album Love And A Lamp-post was released on Overground records in late 2014, surprising many with its honesty and change of style for Steve. With explosive live performances of singalong anti-anthems, Pet Needs began smashing sets on stages throughout the UK, screaming stories of disastrous job interviews, self-destruction and heading down the river on an inflatable kayak. They continued throughout 2019 at a blistering pace.
John Bramwell

John Bramwell

8 May 2025 - 30 Nov 2025

John Harold Arnold Bramwell, to give him his full name, is perhaps best-known for his time as the songwriter and frontman of Manchester three-piece, I Am Kloot. However, he also possesses an enviable back catalogue as a solo artist and continues to work on new material under the guise of his latest band, John Bramwell & The Full Harmonic Convergence. Bramwell’s first studio output appeared in 1989, when he was performing and recording as Johnny Dangerously and entitled You Me & The Alarm Clock, an album The Guardian referred to as one of the ‘greatest albums you’ve never heard.’ Following a stint as a television presenter and as a member of the band, The Mouth, Bramwell formed I Am Kloot, with two members of The Mouth. They went on to record six studio albums, including the Mercury-Prize nominated album, Sky At Night. Since 2016, Bramwell has reverted to being a solo artist and tours continuously, around the UK and Europe. A home-recorded solo album, Leave Alone the Empty Spaces appeared in 2018 and the follow-up, a more expansive affair, with a working title of The Light Fantastic, is now scheduled for release in 2022.

Echo Town

Echo Town

9 May 2025 - 9 May 2025

Echo Town comprises of siblings Ric and Rob Harrison. Unable to fit these two harmonious musical warriors into a general genre, they can only be described as Rock/Roots with a Tribal twist, a band who light up the audience with contagious happiness and incessant energy, who alone, posses the ability to create a full power sound with only two pairs of hands. An Echo Town show takes the crowd on a journey of exhilarating multi-instrumental genius, showcasing combatant fuelled drumming from Rob, on top of ethnic didgeridoo playing and lap slide guitar from Ric, all accompanied with poignant and mindful lyrics. Well known for creating a conscientious party of lyrical chanting, foot stomping, jumping in the air, and bare foot dancing from an elated and loyal audience. The brother duo are resolute in their mission to awaken the masses with music, using the stage as a platform to spread peace, love and unity at a time where they believe music is the most powerful form of expression. They are well known for using their music to raise funds and awareness for organisations such as Sea Shepherd UK and Surfers Against Sewage. The duo has also filmed for the Balcony TV websites and being featured on various BBC Introducing shows. Protection Racket endorses drummer Rob and Anderwood endorses guitarist Ric. Echo Town was truly born in 2015 when they moved to Cornwall, UK from North England, after being inspired by the lifestyle and the surf. Whilst in the North in their younger teen years the brothers dabbled with progressive metal under the name Swamp Donkey. They soon discovered the stoke of surfing on the North-East coast which inspired a more natural and spiritual element to their musical sound, resulting in the renaming of Echo Town. After moving to the South-West in 2015 on a mission to spread their music further they were taken on by The Mojo Hobo Agency and released ‘Be Strong Troop On’ album in Summer 2016, following their release of ‘Come on Over’ in 2011, both of which were produced under Ric’s own label Wood Fire Ash Records. Since joining The Mojo Hobo Agency they have played top festivals and venues all over the UK and mainland Europe. They have had the opportunity to support bands such as My Baby (Netherlands), Xavier Rudd (Australia), Backbeat Sound System (UK), Ferocious Dog (UK), Dreadzone Soundsystem (UK) and Sound of the Sirens (UK). 2018 is set to see a third release from Echo Town. “The ultimate festival band, Newquay-based brothers Ric and Rob Harrison get everyone dancing with their unique mix of slide guitar, djembe, didgeridoo and harmonica… a quintessential Cornish surfing soundtrack” - Cornwall Live “Ric and Rob Harrison produce an avalanche of highly danceable grooves that put a big hippie smile on all our faces. They spread irresistibly contagious vibes, genuine love messages” - www.50thirdand3rd.com “Echo Town makes strong riff-driven music with lyrics where the label 'protest song' might indeed have effect” – Blues Magazine Netherlands

Hidden Mothers & Pleiades (matinee Show)
bUTTONpUSHER presents.... HIDDEN MOTHERS Following the release of their emotionally wrought debut single, 'The Longest Journey Yet' in mid-2019, Hidden Mothers have wasted no time establishing themselves on the UK scene, landing main support slots with international bands such as Planes Mistaken For Stars, Inter Arma, Coilguns and Yautja within a few months of that first release. Despite all that happened at the start of 2020, the band persevered and released their debut self-titled EP in September of that year to rave reviews that compared them to the likes of Oathbreaker, Envy, Converge, Thrice and Amenra. Since the lifting of restrictions for live music events in the UK, Hidden Mothers have had a string of successful shows (including support slots with big names such as Wiegedood, Yob, Portrayal Of Guilt and Employed To Serve) and have honed their live show considerably on the back of this work. At the time of writing this, Hidden Mothers are booked in to record their debut album with Joe Clayton (Pijn/Leeched) at No Studio, Manchester. The band have also just been announced for the 2023 instalment of ArcTanGent Festival alongside Converge, Deafheaven, Cave In, Russian Circles and more. + PLEIADES Encouraging themselves to be seen as an anomaly of the alternative world, Manchester based Post Hardcore outfit Pleiades have spent the time since their formation cultivating an artistic, heavy sound that leaves them unbound by categorisation. Inspired by stories of empathy and human nature, they aim to be the sculptors of a bold new sonic landscape. Pleiades earned critical acclaim with the release of their second EP All At Your Mercy defying the concept of convention and all expectations of genre, with their organic and strikingly candid approach to their craft leading Kerrang! to dub them a vital new voice in UK rock. The band have since gone on to share stages with Pagan, Blanket, Hawthorne Heights, As Everything Unfolds and more, affirming a status worthy of a place among the highest ranks of the global scene, with their 2023 return to performing after a brief hiatus marked by a sell-out show in their hometown of Manchester. The band will be embarking on their biggest year to date in 2023, with their debut album 'Affinity With' announced for September 29th 2023, and a live schedule thatll take them to every corner of the country for the first time since the pandemic.
Mr Wilson's Second Liners

Mr Wilson's Second Liners

3 Oct 2025 - 3 Oct 2025

New Orleans meets 90s club classics…a rave funeral without the body. In New Orleans, funerals are celebrated in style, with noisy brass bands processing through the streets. The main section of the parade is known as First Line, but the real fun starts with the Second Line, those who follow the band to enjoy the music, marching with the musicians and twirling parasols or waving handkerchiefs. Welcome to Second Lining. A rabble of mischievous northerners, Mr Wilson’s Second Liners form a traditional New Orleans Second Line. However, this is no sombre occasion: Mr Wilson’s expend their collective musical talent paying homage to the diehard days of the Hacienda, 90s club culture and its greatest hero, Mr Tony Wilson. These revolutionary genre bashers knock the First Line sideways, opting for upbeat dance tracks over traditional slow hymns. Proudly stepping out in uniformed style, they channel the spirit of the 24 hour party people and get audiences dancing wherever they play. The vision is an anarchic, street extravaganza, bursting with colour and sound, rallying impromptu raves on street corners and rousing audiences young and old into a joyful frenzy. Presented by Ouroboros. This is an 16+ event

Instigators

Instigators

15 Aug 2025 - 16 Aug 2025

In the latter half of the Eighties you'd have struggled to find a harder working group than INSTIGATORS. Tirelessly gigging up and down the UK, around mainland Europe, and even across the USA, on self-booked zero-budget tours, they inspired a new generation of young British bands to go blaze their own trails, often to great effect. The first incarnation of Instigators can be traced to West Yorkshire in the early Eighties. A friendship with Subhumans Dick Lucas saw his label Bluurg release their debut EP in 1984 and an LP ‘Nobody Listens Anymore’ a year later. The records were well received, putting them on the cover of revered magazine Maximum Rock ‘n Roll. American artist Pushead also championed Instigators, including songs on his worldwide compilation ‘Cleanse The Bacteria’. And then the vocalist, bassist and drummer all walked out, leaving founder member Simon Mooney without a band. With touring commitments, and a determination to carry on, Simon immediately assembled a new line-up, with Andy Turner and Andy Turnbull drafted in as vocalist and bassist, their band Xpozez having recently split. With the addition of Steve Curran on drums the began touring Europe non stop with the reinvigorated line-up debuting in Swansea, July ’85, officially marking the next era of Instigators. Following another mainland jaunt in January ‘86 the band assembled at Woodlands Studio, in Castleford, during March and April to record their new album ‘Phoenix’. It was produced by the band with Bruce Treasure (Subhumans) and saw a subtle change in the bands musical direction that reflected the increasing influence of bands from North America on their listening habits. With their new album out in the summer of ’86, the band now headed across the Atlantic for a North American tour commencing on 27th June at Lupos, Providence (Rhode Island) with The Adolescents and Murphy’s Law and finishing at On Broadway in San Francisco on 14th August. The wheels were truly turning for this incarnation of Instigators, and they would continue with tireless tours across the UK and mainland Europe and kept their profile up with tracks on various compilations. 1987 saw them release the memorable ‘Full Circle / Sleeper’ single and with ‘88’s ‘Shockgun’ album moving the goalposts again and clocking up the mileage on what would eventually be over 16 lengthy European jaunts. INSTIGATORS bowed out after two massive European tours at the start of the ’90’s in Milan, Italy. Now they’re back for the first time in over 30 years for three special nights beginning at the world renown Rebellion Festival in Blackpool with headline shows in London and Huddersfield. If you weren’t there to witness them in full flow back then it’s time to see what you were missing The Instigators were a revelation when they appeared on the UK punk scene, their hard yet melodic sound, precise professional delivery and positive political lyrics a literal breath of fresh air amongst a quagmire of thrashing nihilistic rage. Over the course of the next ten years they would set new standards of musicianship and professionalism within the UK hardcore scene This is a 14+ event. 14 and 15 year olds MUST be accompanied by an adult (18+) / All ticketholders under the age of 25 will be required to carry PHOTO ID.

Cud

Cud

11 Jul 2025 - 8 Nov 2025

Emerging from the same art/design cauldron that produced fellow Leeds legends Soft Cell, Scritti Politti, and The Mekons, CUD were the pre-Britpop answer to doleful shoegazing bands fun-loving, light-hearted, romantic and downright catchy. Alternatively loved or loathed like a yeast extract, CUD are indie rock for the unpretentious pleasure seeker, boasting as they do the rich deep-lunged voice of Carl Puttnam, edgy guitars of Mike Dunphy and tight, funky rhythm section of William Potter, bass and Gogs Byrn, drums. CUD were initially lauded for their quirky Peel session cover of You Sexy Thing in 1987. They soon built up a huge live following and buffed up their repertoire with a string of unstraight pop beauties, best exemplified by the 1990 album Leggy Mambo. This led to a major-label deal with A&M in 1991, front-page NME coverage, massive sellout gigs and proper Top 30 hits, Rich and Strange and Purple Love Balloon. Misunderstood by record companies and press, CUD packed away their guitars and sticks in 1995 but, bolstered by a greatest hits anthology (Rich and Strange) in 2006, they agreed to tread the boards again, with a further reunion following in 2012 (now with original guitarist and key songwriter Mike Dunphy) and continue to find an army of Space CUDets still eager to sing along, dance like fruitcakes and invade their stage.

Kris Barras Band

Kris Barras Band

16 Oct 2025 - 9 Nov 2025

Kris Barras Band’s Death Valley Paradise crashed into the Official UK Album Charts at #27 in March 2022 - their highest charting album yet. Hailing a new beginning, they are heavier and darker than ever. “Dead Horses,” “My Parade,” “Who Needs Enemies” and “Chaos” were all A-listed at Planet Rock Radio and spent multiple weeks as the most played songs on the station. Guitarist Magazine hailed Barras as “reminiscent of shredders like Zakk Wylde”, and Classic Rock applauded the “pummelling riffs and from-the-gut vocals show his hard-rock colours at their brightest.” The moment they announced the first single, “Dead Horses”, they changed gear and have not looked back. From a UK tour with Back Stone Cherry in 2021 – culminating with a show at the Royal Albert Hall, before they then supported The Darkness for two special nights at London’s Shepherd Bush Empire. They spent March 2022 taking on, venue-wise, their biggest UK headline tour, selling out shows along the way. They then took on the massive stage of London’s Wembley Arena in support of Thunder and sailed through a triumphant Download festival debut on the second stage this summer. The ex-MMA/Cage fighter Barras has played the London Palladium, mainstages at festivals such as Planet Rockstock, Ramblin’ Man Fair and countless sold-out UK headline tours whilst picking up awards, multiple BBC Radio 2 sessions, critical acclaim and a fervent fanbase along the way.
Motley Crude - LIVE at The Parish, Huddersfield

Lifelong Mötley Crüe fans, Mötley Crüde are unparalleled in their attention to detail when recreating what they believe to be the four most iconic and best loved Mötley Crüe eras (1983's Shout At The Devil, 1985's Theatre of Pain, 1987's Girls, Girls Girls & 1989's Dr. Feelgood) with costumes, instruments and performances replicated in minute detail, which are to date replicated by no other Mötley Crüe tribute. 2025 sees the band embark on a nationwide tour named Decade of Decadence to celebrate their 10-year anniversary, with a full 2-hour show of the hits as well as fan favourite album tracks. Xander and the Peace Pirates

Xander and the Peace Pirates

9 May 2025 - 5 Oct 2025

Xander and the Peace Pirates are a testament to musical integrity and personal strength. Combining soul, blues and rock, their pervasive blend of inspired song writing and memorable performances has already seen them enrapture audiences from around the world. Brothers Keith and Stu Xander were discovered on YouTube by Gibson Brands CEO Henry Juszkiewicz and during their subsequent performances for the company at numerous international events from LA to Dubai the band caught the attention of not just an ever-growing collective of fans but also industry legends such as Eddie Kramer (Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Kiss, Rolling Stones) and Rick Allen (Def Leppard). Defying all expectations, lead singer and guitarist Keith Xander was born without a right arm below the elbow and plays guitar using a prosthesis and hook with a pick attached at the end. Although many who have seen Keith play believe him to be an extraordinary guitarist despite of his perceived 'disability' he is a virtuoso musician in his own right and his playing rivals the best in the industry. In 2014 the band ended their 5-year tenure as the resident band at Liverpool's iconic Cavern Club pub and went on to support the likes of Joe Bonamassa, Joe Satriani, Manfred Mann's Earth Band, The Temperance Movement, ex-Whitesnake's Bernie Marsden and even Bon Jovi at Old Trafford Stadium to name a few. 2016 saw the band release their debut album, titled '11:11', on V2 Benelux Records, recorded at the world-famous Wisseloord studios in Hilversum, outside of Amsterdam. The album went on to receive critical acclaim from the likes of Classic Rock, Planet Rock Radio and from BBC Radio's Bob Harris. With haunting riffs, genius melodies and a uniquely infectious charisma, Xander and the Peace Pirates continue to share their musical passion to standing ovations, while spreading a universal message of peace, love and harmony.

The Guilty Men

The Guilty Men

2 Oct 2025 - 2 Nov 2025

Debut album Invisible Confetti released 5th September 2024.  The days of the Supergroup may be long past… but The Guilty Men would surely qualify for that description! The band is made up of five of the finest musicians from the Northwest of England. Between them, they have played over 10,000 gigs on planet Earth, recorded thousands of songs and made countless radio and TV appearances. To say they’re experienced would be an understatement! The story starts in 1979, in Manchester, England. Clive Gregson and Neil Cossar met through a mutual friend, John Martin, the bassist in The Cheaters… Neil was the band’s guitarist. Clive was the leader of Any Trouble. The Cheaters had a PA, Any Trouble owned a van. It made sense to pool resources, often with both bands on the same bill… happy days! Any Trouble signed to Stiff Records, The Cheaters signed to EMI. Both bands released several albums and played thousands of shows. Both bands ran their course… Clive then went on to a successful partnership with singer Christine Collister, released over 20 solo albums, and spent 15 years in Nashville working as a session musician and producer. Neil became a radio DJ, formed a Music PR company and launched the online brand This Day in Music, before becoming a music book publisher. Cut to 2021… lifelong friends Clive and Neil are catching up over lunch and thought it might be fun to try and write some songs together… Several weeks and quite a few songs later, they decided to expand the enterprise from a songwriting workshop to a full blown band. Clive recruited keyboardist Jez Smith and bassist Craig Fletcher from John Lees’ Barclay James Harvest… and the lineup was completed with the addition of legendary drummer, Paul Burgess, who has played with 10cc since 1973. They named the band The Guilty Men… and headed into the recording studio. Cut to 2024… and The Guilty Men’s debut album “Invisible Confetti” is ready to roll. 13 brand new songs recorded in the old-fashioned way: everybody playing live in the studio, intent on catching the moment. Most of the songs were laid down in no more than 2 or 3 takes… and with four featured lead vocalists, the album covers a lot of musical bases. “Invisible Confetti” rocks… with nods to Americana, country, folk, pop, psychedelia… it’s an exhilarating ride from start to finish. All aboard!

Origami Angel

Origami Angel

16 Aug 2025 - 22 Aug 2025

Feeling Not Found, the third full-length record from Washington, D.C. duo Origami Angel, is the one—the rare, undeniable piece of work that defines a sound, a moment, a subculture, a band’s position in the continuum of music. Vocalist/guitarist Ryland Heagy and drummer Pat Doherty have been building to this record since they started the band in 2016, growing it quickly into one of the most exciting and volcanic bands in the American punk and emo communities. A 14-track epic recorded with producer Will Yip at his Studio 4 Recording, Feeling Not Found revolves around the deeply modern experience teased in the title: an emotional and spiritual 404 error, a sensation of cellular-level malfunction and data corruption, of being lost in an oblivion of digital information, and the desperate struggle to reconnect to how it feels to be human and whole Presented by CHALK. Better Lovers

Better Lovers

16 Oct 2025 - 28 Oct 2025

A group of tried-and-true musicians got together and found the sort of camaraderie and kinship you typically only find once in a lifetime. They didn’t overthink it. They didn’t waste a second. They simply left their blood, sweat, and tears on tape—like they’ve always done. For as much as Better Lovers represents the union of former Every Time I Die members Jordan Buckley [guitar], Steve Micciche [bass], and Clayton “Goose” Holyoak [drums] with The Dillinger Escape Plan frontman Greg Puciato [vocals], and musician (Fit For An Autopsy/END) and GRAMMY® Award-winning producer, Will Putney [guitar], it really cements the bond of five friends around a shared vision. That vision is as uncompromising, unapologetic, and undeniable as anything they’ve individually done, yet it’s refined by experience and a commitment to a future together. They’re in it for the long haul. Jordan ended up back in Buffalo, NY, jamming with Steve and Goose during the winter of 2022. After working with Will on the last two Every Time I Die records, they shared a handful of early demos with him to produce. As the year progressed, Jordan caught Greg on the road with Jerry Cantrell in Las Vegas, mentioning the new music. Once ideas solidified, he shared them with the vocalist who replied at 3 am one night in December.
