Australian rocker Cassidy Paris has a very bright future ahead of her. Raised on classic hard rock and inspired by artists such as Halestorm, Joan Jett, Pink, Pat Benatar & Avril Lavigne, the fiercely determined young woman is on a mission to inspire a new generation. Since the beginning, Cassidy Paris has released two sold out eps Broken Hearted & Flirt, and her first full length record "New Sensation" was released via Frontiers Music Srl in December 2023. At the age of 11, Cassidy met singer songwriter Paul Laine (ex Danger Danger & The Defiants), who developed a unique mentoring role. Paul took Cassidy under his wing to help develop her as an artist and songwriter, collaborating with her in songwriting and producing her music. From early on, Cassidy wanted to deliver a strong message through her music. In 2018, Cassidy Paris released the song 'Stand', a heartfelt song about standing up for yourself as a young woman. Cassidy continues to deliver that message and promotes anti-bullying through her performances. Paris enjoys performing at many schools around Melbourne, and is an active campaigner for the worldwide Metalheads Against Bullying. Cassidy's talents have not gone unnoticed by some of the most prestigious companies in the industry, with brands such as Fender Guitars, Ernie Ball Strings & Wornstar Clothing all endorsing her. Cassidy Paris has built up a strong connection with her growing worldwide fanbase that has already seen her perform in America, Japan and the UK. 2022 saw Cassidy Paris tour Australia with the likes of John Corabi & H.E.A.T, along with a 12 date UK tour. In 2023, Cassidy Paris signed to Frontiers Music SRL. She released her debut album 'New Sensation' in December to rave reviews, many including a Top 10 Album Of The Year. Formed in late 2012 by vocalist Matt James and drummer Nathan Gillis in the small East Texas town of Palestine, Blacktop Mojo’s fiery blend of sludgy grooves, classic rock guitar riffs, and southern metal shredding falls somewhere between Soundgarden, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and ZZ Top to form around deemed by some as "Texas Grunge". The music draws on a multitude of genres and styles to form a hodgepodge of dirty, heavy rock and roll mixed with sensual and at times even, carnal blues. After their debut album "I Am "in 2014, The band spent a few years cutting their teeth in dive bars, dancehalls, and honky Tonks around Texas. In 2017, during the recording of their sophomore record "Burn The Ships" the guys quit their day jobs, moving into a small house together in Palestine, TX. The house created an unbreakable fellowship between the band and a culture of constant creativity. Since then, the band has kept a relentless touring and recording schedule, with multiple songs reaching the top 40 on both the Media base and Billboard Rock Charts, no small feat for an independent artist. Hailing from Nashville, Boston, Wisconsin and Stockholm, come the international Warner E Hodges Revue who blend Rock, Americana and Country into a genre-defying sound. It’s an undisputed, stone cold fact that Warner E. Hodges is one of the most instantly recognisable guitarists playing today. Warner played with a succession of local Nashville punk bands and then he and two school friends - Perry Baggs and Jeff Johnson - met a singer who had moved to Nashville looking for musicians who were prepared to join him in fusing the styles of Hank Williams with the Ramones. The singer was Jason Ringenberg, and so Jason & The Scorchers were born. Signing with Praxis Management, the Scorchers recorded two EPs and six full albums, and played a major role in creating what we now call Alt Country or Americana. Their reputation as live performers eventually led to the Americana Music Association awarding them the “Lifetime Achievement Award For Life Performance in 2008. In 2007, Warner joined Dan Baird and Mauro Magellan (both ex Georgia Satellites) in a new band, Dan Baird & Homemade Sin. The band recorded five studio albums, the biggest selling of the five being Rollercoaster which was produced by Warner. From 2010 onwards, Warner also began a parallel solo career and has recorded four solo albums, including Right Back Where I Started - featuring a backing band made up of members of Cheap Trick, The Mavericks and Steve Earle & The Dukes. The idea was always to find a core of permanent musicians, and after running through a few line-up's, The Warner E Hodges International All Stars reflect the ultimate line up.
