Calvin Love

Calvin Love

8 Nov 2026 - 11 Nov 2026

Calvin Love is a Canadian singer-songwriter whose music lingers in the shadows of nostalgia and noir. With a signature croon and a sound that fuses psych-folk, cinematic longing, and romanticism, he’s built a world both vintage and strangely timeless. The press has called his work “a crestfallen soundtrack of near-escape... like Chris Isaak trapped in a David Lynch film.” An artist of quiet intensity and prolific output, Love has carved a singular space on the fringes of indie music - shaped by introspection, lyrical depth, and a restless DIY spirit. Influenced by the pulse of rock ’n’ roll and the bruised glamour of 1980s balladeers, he’s crafted a sonic universe entirely his own. Known for live shows that blur the line between concert and dream sequence, Love approaches each song like a method actor - dissolving the boundary between persona and performance with slow-burning precision. Whether standing alone with a 12-string guitar or fronting a seven-piece ensemble, his performances radiate a magnetic stillness: immersive, nuanced, and emotionally resonant. With multiple albums and international tours behind him, Calvin Love has spent the last decade quietly shaping one of the most distinct and haunting voices on the outer edges of indie music.
Rusty Shackle

Rusty Shackle

3 Oct 2026 - 7 Nov 2026

Welsh indie-roots band Rusty Shackle have been tearing up stages including Cambridge Folk Festival since 2010. Brandishing their distinct folk-roots sound and armed with an electrifying mix of rampant fiddle, scorching electric guitars, pounding drums, searing trumpet and banjo, the band have built up a devoted fanbase with their captivating live shows. Constantly evolving their sound, the band have released three albums over the last few years, each reaching the top 3 in the iTunes 'Alternative Folk/Singer Songwriter' charts. The songs are steeped in honest emotion and story telling and are born from the fires of Bruce Springsteen, Seth Lakeman, infused with the raw energy of Jack White and creativity of Tom Waits and mix it with everything in between. Their new album DUSK takes their music into brave new areas, introducing an edginess and immediacy to their melody-driven folk credentials. DUSK trawls through the darker stations of the world whilst never forgetting to take in the lighter stops on the line.

Tchotchke

Tchotchke

30 Sept 2026 - 11 Oct 2026

Like Pop Rocks hitting the tongue, New York’s Tchotchke is classic candy-coated rock’n’roll. Sweet on the outside but filled with surprises once properly ingested, the three-piece have been winning over audiences with their Rundgren-tinged sound and masterful harmonies since 2021. Anastasia Sanchez (vocals, drums) and Eva Chambers (bass, keys, vocals) met in the mirror of an L.A. highschool locker room in 2014-they were both fixing their bangs. A deep musical friendship was quickly formed, forged on a shared love of everything from vintage dolls to the Beach Boys, and resulting in a handful of bands together. Several years passed before fellow L.A. musician Emily Tooraen (guitar, vocals) entered Anastasia and Eva’s orbit and everything finally clicked. Tchotchke was born. A move to the East Coast followed, and the band started working on their first album, produced by power-pop wunderkinds the Lemon Twigs in their Long Island childhood home. Tchotchke (2022) was a full-tilt rock'n'roll gem of catchy guitar riffs, powerpop piano lines and hook-heavy vocals. Tours with King Tuff, Broncho, The Gossip and The Makeup followed, and the band found themselves crossing the U.S. and Europe throughout 2023 and 2024. Presented by JOY.. This is an 18+ event
Hibushibire

Hibushibire

25 Aug 2026 - 25 Aug 2026

「flashback stonehenge」完全版 ‘Flashback Stonehenge’ is the bands first studio album as a four piece, with live guest Kohei Katsuma now joining as a full time member on percussion/congas (an absolute must see live) alongside Changchang (Guitar/Vocal), Tetsuji Toyoda (Bass/Vocal) and Aoi Hama (Drums/Vocals). Like the bands previous three albums, this one continues with the three shorter songs on side one, and one epic long song filling out side two mantra that has served them so well thus far. Opening track ‘Snow Sniffing Matador’ is already a firm live favourite, with it’s heavy riffage and 70’s rock swagger. Things then cool down with a more laid back ‘In Heaven’, featuring Aoi Hama’s dreamlike vocal whispers, and a fuzzed out take on traditional English folk song ‘The Cuckoo’ with Changchang & Aoi trading verses. Flip it over, and you have the epic title track, which sees the band take a slightly different approach recalling the likes of Steve Reich, Terry Riley, Faust, CAN, Eno etc over it’s extraordinary 22 minutes. Presented by The Beauty Witch. This is an 18+ event
