Doom Gong (US) // Farfisa Live at The Peer Hat
"I am convinced that my favorite part is the wonderfully tightly coiled and supple bass work but then, 20 seconds lately, I am convinced that the tense strings are, and then the daring flugal horn and synthesizer marriage and then the psychedelic sparkle and sting of that one key progression and then the rumbling, shuffling drum work and then the hushed shoegaze vocals and so it goes around and around in my brain. The truth is that the entire fcking thing, arrangement and aural artful sweep, is stunning through and through" - American Pancake
