Their live performance is to be held in awe, purely in anticipation of the live operatic architecture they consistently unfurl upon their willing audiences. Having invaded venues ranging from The Royal Albert Hall (on multiple occasions), playing alongside Elton John, The British Rock Symphony Orchestra and Blues festivals, Wembley Arena supporting The Who, The Viper Room in LA and Euro-fests galore, Never The Bride have amazed and floored audiences and peer groups alike over their 25 years of service – these ladies are true rock and roll royalty. Roger Daltrey broadcast “Nikki Lamborn has the best female rock voice since Janis Joplin and I know what I’m talking about, I knew Janis”. The legendary Dame Shirley Bassey called the girls “inspirational”, they have performed private shows for Cher and Liza Minnelli and Bob Harris from BBC Radio 2 referred to them as “one of the best live bands in Britain”; the ladies’ roll-call list is simply mind blowing – as are the stories the ladies readily share.

They combine a mixture of fresh arrangements of swing/jive/R&B classics -- songs made famous by such greats as Louis Prima, Cab Calloway, Bobby Darin, Louis Armstrong, Dean Martin, Big Joe Turner and Sammy Davis Jnr -- along with a selection of superb swinging originals taken from their studio albums. The Jive Aces have worked with many of the top names in the business, including John Travolta, Status Quo, Isaac Hayes, Van Morrison, Count Basie Orchestra, Keely Smith, Priscilla Presley, Buddy Greco, Kirstie Allie, Kenny Ball, Chuck Berry, Tony Christie and Lee Evans to name just a few. Steph Goodwin and The John Crawford Trio
Meet Steph Goodwin a London based jazz singer whose soulful voice and captivating performances have been enchanting audiences in and around London. Likened to Karen Carpenter, she has a wonderfully resonant voice and a beautiful musicality to her performances. Steph has a life long love of music. Her talent became apparent at the age of 3 when she walked up to a piano and started to play a tune she had heard. Steph’s working life was in medicine but she was involved in music throughout that time. Now she has decided to concentrate fully on her music career. She has been taught over the years by wonderful teachers – Linley Weir, Anita Wardell and Imogen Ryall. She has spent a year studying jazz musicianship with the amazing bass player and educator Dave Jones. Steph has done several recordings with Grammy nominated musician and producer Mike Stevens. This includes in 2023 recording a duet with Marc Almond. She has been a regular performer at the Pheasantry Jazz club both as a solo performer and as part of an a cappella vocal jazz group. She has regularly played with some of the UK’s greatest jazz musicians including pianist John Crawford, bass player Andy Hamil and percussionist Andres Ticino. She has also performed at PizzaExpress Soho and other venues in and around London. Steph’s influences range from Sarah Vaughan to Lianne Carroll, Ella Fitzgerld to Karen Carpenter. Her study of jazz music has also ignited in her a love of instrumental jazz and writing lyrics to instrumental pieces.

Veteran blues performer, broadcaster and erstwhile pop star Paul Jones together with the legendary guitarist John Etheridge for a night of Blues inflected Jazz. Paul Jones was lead singer with the highly acclaimed and popular band Manfred Mann in the sixties, scoring several huge hits including '5432!', 'Pretty Flamingo' and 'Doo Wah Diddy'. Subsequently, his solo career also produced a number of big hits - becoming a household name in the sixties. In the 1970’s he formed The Blues Band, featuring the music that was his first love and this group has toured consistently since. Paul was also the presenter of the Radio 2 Blues Show for 30 years.
