How Does It Feel To Be Loved?

14 Jun 2025 - 18 Oct 2025

Le Tigre special. This year sees the 20th anniversary of Le Tigre's amazing self-titled debut album, which came out in October 1999. As we always have our annual B&S special in October, we've decided to throw the party a few months early and have a Le Tigre special in June. We'll be playing every song from "Le Tigre" over the course of the evening, alongside our usual mix of indie pop and soul. Come and dance to "Deceptacon", "Hot Topic", "My My Metrocard", "Let's Run", and loads more!
How Does It Feel To Be Loved? Christmas Party
Our Christmas Party! At long, long last, we can meet up once again in The Phoenix and dance to indie pop, northern soul, Motown, 60s girl groups and more. To ease our way back into the life we used to know, we'll be capping capacity for this to ensure that everyone has lots of space and feels comfortable. Tickets will be limited so please snap one up while you can. We play: Belle & Sebastian Dusty Springfield The Magnetic Fields Love Orange Juice The Ronettes Ramones The Supremes Aztec Camera Beach Boys Buzzcocks The Cure The Temptations Velvet Underground Felt The Shangri-Las R.E.M. Allo Darlin' Otis Redding The Field Mice Dexys Midnight Runners Camera Obscura The Four Tops The Go-Betweens Pixies Tammi Terrell Jens Lekman Jonathan Richman Le Tigre Pat Powdrill The Sea Urchins Sleater-Kinney Os Mutantes Neutral Milk Hotel The Left Banke The Associates Martha Reeves & The Vandellas Thee Oh Sees Teenage Fanclub The Pastels Shop Assistants Covid Safety Precautions We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable at our nights, so here are the rules for anyone who'd like to come to HDIF in the next few months. We will ask you to provide proof of a double vaccination (via the NHS app or by bringing your card or a print out), a negative lateral flow test (via the app or a print out, which you can get from here: https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result), or proof of having had Covid in the last 3 months (via the app). We're limiting the capacity for the first few nights to make sure everyone has lots of room. Some people will have been out in the last few weeks and will feel comfortable with being in a club again. For others - myself included - this will be the first month they've been out dancing. So please be respectful of everyone's personal space and remember that we'll all be at different stages of returning to the life we used to know. It's no longer a legal requirement to wear a mask. If you'd like to wear a mask, you're welcome to. If not, that's fine too. Staff will be wearing a mask for your safety. We'll have the air con units on and will take measures to increase natural ventilation. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us do everything we can to keep everyone safe.
