Since they walked away with the top prize on UK primetime TV talent show, ‘When Will I Be Famous’ in 2007, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers haven’t stopped for a breath, other than to inflate their bagpipes! Taking their signature ‘Bagrock’ sound to the masses, The Chillis have fast become a global phenomenon, rocking far-flung shores from Melbourne to Milwaukee and everywhere in between. They’ve spent the last 20 years perfecting their phenomenal live act with sell out shows across the globe. Kicking things off in December with their Scottish Tour, with an eight week tour of mainland Europe then coming home in August to perform at the world renowned Edinburgh Festival and Glasgow’s ‘Piping Live’-the band barely had time to do their washing before jetting off again! The Beat formed in 1979 and released their debut single, an infectious cover of the Smokey Robinson classic Tears of A Clown on 2-Tone Records which went straight into the UK national charts at #6. Bow Wow Wow were created by Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren in 1980 from members of the Adam and the Ants group along with vocalist Annabella Lwin. Between 1980-1983 Bow Wow Wow had acclaimed singles such as I Want Candy, C-30 C60 C-90 Go, Go Wild In The Country, Fools Rush In, Afrodisiac, Do You Wanna Hold Me, Sexy Eiffel Towers, Louis Quatorze and more.

Bruce Juice - the Springsteen Tribute Band

Bruce Juice are bringing a range of unique features to live gigs in the UK. At several selected gigs, Bruce Juice will perform the whole album of either ‘Born to Run’ or ‘Wild & Innocent’, as the first half of the show. At various stages during 2023, the band will also feature the “Darkness ’78” tour, the “Born in the USA” album and “The River” album. In addition, Bruce Juice will also aim to perform for 3 hours live at every gig, aiming to deliver the full E Street experience for all Spring-Nuts / E Street Fans. Some venue curfews may limit this, so 2.5 hours will be the minimum, but where possible, it will be the full 3 hours.

The Selecter is led by their iconic frontwoman Pauline Black and co-fronted by original member Arthur ‘Gaps’ Hendrickson. They are now re-united with original drummer Charley ‘Aitch’ Bainbridge who is back in the line-up. Pauline is one of very few women in the 2-Tone scene - often referred to as "the Queen of Ska" she was awarded an OBE in the in the 2022 New Year Honours. 2-Tone was a crucial multi-racial, multi-cultural explosion borne out of Coventry and the Midlands that remade British pop from 1979 onwards.

Well, Oasis are no more. The back stage bust ups and public slanging matches on Twitter proved too much for this great British band. Thankfully, their No1 Tribute-Definitely Mightbe (now in their twelfth year) don’t share the same sibling rivalry as the real thing, but they do have a lot in common when it comes to reproducing the rousing anthems, stage presence and atmosphere that the originals created. With over two hours of material to draw from, including all the hit’s from all seven albums, live favourites, B-sides and a couple of Noel’s acoustic number’s, when the boys start there’s no stopping them. And who wants to stop when everybody’s having a good time? Lead singer Ian bears an uncanny resemblance to Liam and has worked as a look-a-like in the UK appearing on BBC1, Channel 4, Sky TV and ITV. Publicity campaigns and advertising for HMV, Virgin, Q Magazine, Loaded, Royal Bank Of Scotland, Lloyds Bank and the National Press. Ian was also asked to star in a video for heavy metal legends MOTORHEAD as Liam and also providing a voice over for a recent documentary accompanying the new Oasis-”Time Flies” DVD. To add to this, Ian has the knack of sounding like Liam too and was asked to provide the vocals on a dance remix of Wonderwall set for release in summer 2010. Paul Mitchell takes up the reigns as Noel and mimics the riffs and lead breaks with such precision you’d think you were listening to the CD. A very loud CD. While the rhythm section of Kev Pyne on bass and Pete Coppard on drums keep everything locked together and completes the DEF MB family. So, as good as the real thing? Well, the lengendary Alan McGee thought so when he recently introduced the band live on stage! So they…..Definitely Mightbe.

Fronted by Buster Bloodvessel (born Douglas Trendle), the band was formed in 1976 while the members were at school together, and among their early incarnations were known as Stoop Solo and the Sheet Starchers. None of the members had any formal musical training, not even the ability to play any instruments. They were popular during the late 1970s and early 1980s, a period when lots of similar ska bands filled the charts. Some of their hits include 'My Girl Lollipop', 'Lip Up Fatty', 'Special Brew' and 'Ne-Ne-Na-Na-Na-Na-Nu-Nu'. One of the main reasons for their notoriety was because of their outlandish, larger-than-life, huge-tongued & shaven-headed front man. Buster´s exploits got them banned from the British TV chart show Top of the Pops (which included dressing as Henry VIII and singing to a blow-up doll for the song 'Lorraine', pouring a large can of baked beans over his head, and dressing in a can-can dancer´s dress to promote their single 'Can-Can').

Originally formed in 1992 from the ashes of The La’s and Shack, Cast released four albums and had ten top 10 singles before disbanding in 2001. As one of the most traditional guitar bands to emerge during the Brit-pop era of the mid-'90s, Cast have carved out a sound that was heavily indebted to the British Invasion of the early '60s, yet it was infused with a mystical, pseudo-hippie lyrical sensibility, which lead singer John Power expanded upon in all of his interviews. Cast became a very, very popular band within Britain following the success of Oasis and Blur. Formed in 1977 to promote Ian Durys’ album ‘New Boots and Panties’ on the first Stiff Records tour of the U.K. Chaz Jankel, Norman Watt-Roy, Charlie Charles, John Turnbull and Mick Gallagher became known as ‘The Blockheads’ (a reference to a song on Ian’s album). As ‘Ian Dury & The Blockheads’ they went back out on tour, this time without Chaz Jankel, and in 1978 released ‘What a Waste’ a single that reached number five in the U.K. charts. They were then joined by saxophonist Davey Payne and toured the U.S.A supporting Lou Reed across North America ending with their own dates in California (with backline roadie Pete Rush) In late 1978 Chaz returned to the fold and composed ‘Hit me with your Rhythm Stick’ with Ian. The band recorded it in The Workhouse Studios, Old Kent Road, London and in 1979 had a number one hit record with it in the U.K. Ian Dury & The Blockheads went on to record the ‘Do it Yourself’ album and toured Europe and the U.K. recording ‘Reasons to be Cheerful, Part 3’ in Rome. Released as a single in late 1979 it reached number three in the U.K. charts. In 1980 Chaz, once again, left the band to pursue solo projects in California and Wilko Johnson joined Ian, Norman, Johnny, Charlie, Mickey and Davey to record and release a third album for Stiff Records called ‘Laughter’ and released ‘I Want to be Straight’ and ‘Supermans Big Sister’ as singles. They toured throughout 1981 in the U.K and Europe, sometimes augmented by Don Cherry on trumpet, ending the year with a tour of Australia. In 1982 Ian Dury & The Blockheads disbanded and were not to play together again until 1987 when they went out to Japan in June to play three shows in four days, disbanding again until 1990 when the death of Charlie Charles in September of that year re-united them to play two Benefit gigs in aid of Charlies’ family. Chaz returned from America and Steven Monti picked up the drumsticks for the hottest ticket in town. The band, now augmented by Merlin Rhys-Jones on guitar and Will Parnell on percussion, recorded a live album ‘Warts & Audience’ in December 1990. Chaz returned to California and the band toured Spain in January 1991. Once again the band stopped working until August 1994 when, with the return to England of Chaz, the band were invited to play the Madstock Festival in Finsbury Park in August which led to a series of hit and run gigs in Europe, Ireland, the U.K.and Japan throughout the rest of 1994 and 1995. In March 1996 Ian was diagnosed with cancer and, after recovering from an operation, was determined to write another album.

After fronting the Sex Pistols, John Lydon formed post-punk originators Public Image Ltd (PiL). Widely regarded as one of the most innovative bands of all time, their music and vision earned them 5 UK Top 20 Singles and 5 UK Top 20 Albums. With a shifting line-up and unique sound - fusing rock, dance, folk, pop and dub - Lydon guided the band from their debut album ‘First Issue’ in 1978 through to 1992’s ‘That What Is Not’, before a 17 year hiatus. Lydon reactivated PiL in 2009, touring extensively and releasing two critically acclaimed albums ‘This is PiL’ in 2012 followed by ‘What The World Needs Now…’ in 2015. John Lydon, Lu Edmonds, Scott Firth and Bruce Smith continue as PiL. They are the longest stable line-up in the band's history and continue to challenge and thrive.

The Ultimate Erasure Tribute In 1995 Mark appeared on ITV’s “Stars In Their Eyes” (and again for the 1995 Christmas Special) as Erasure’s Andy Bell, to universal acclaim. He met Pete in 1996 and the pair began writing original material together and at the same time launched Erasured, with which they toured the circuit for over ten years. The magic eventually waned, but the pair stayed the closest of friends. Then in 2018 Mark and Pete were invited to recreate the recent arena gigs Robbie Williams had done with Erasure. They agreed to do the gig as a ‘one off’ for nostalgia’s sake. The show was a huge success and they again found their passion for Erasure music, and started touring again, with new technology and new outfits!

Before Mötley Crüe, before RATT, even before there was a Metallica, Y&T was slogging away in sweaty rock clubs around America. When the band formed in the early 1970s, little did they know they would set the standard for hard rock bands that trailed. Many of the biggest acts of the '80s became popular opening for headliners Y&Tand cut their teeth on the band, as evidenced by the Y&T mentions in tell-all books by acts such as Metallica and Mötley Crüe. Born in Oakland, California, Y&T is one of the San Francisco Bay Area's own innovators of the hard rock sound. Whether performing to a festival crowd of fifty-thousand or in an intimate nightclub, Y&T's high- energy set and passionate performances still captivate legions of fans around the globe, proving Y&T's music timeless. Originally formed as Yesterday and Today, the initial powerhouse quartetfeaturing Dave Meniketti (lead guitar/lead vocals), Phil Kennemore (bass), Leonard Haze (drums), and Joey Alves (rhythm guitar) tore through the '70s and '80s with their own brand of hard rock. After two '70s albums on London Records, they shortened their name to Y&T and released eight albums on A&M in the '80s. Two more albums with Geffen Records marked an era of change with Jimmy DeGrasso (Alice Cooper, Suicidal Tendencies, Megadeth) on drums and Stef Burns (Alice Cooper, Berlin, Huey Lewis) on guitar. The band's most recent single "I'm Coming Home" has climbed to roughly 1.5 million views on YouTube. Y&T received extensive airplay with hits such as Forever, Rescue Me, Mean Streak, Don't Stop Runnin', and Summertime Girlswhich played in heavy rotation on MTV. Y&T songs have been featured in a multitude of movies and television shows, including Real Genius, Out of Bounds, Baywatch, and Hunter. Accompanied by Benji Kirkpatrick & Alex Hart Following on from the sell-out success of a Spring tour this year, Westcountry folk singer and multi-instrumentalist Seth Lakeman has announced another run of intimate shows in 2023 accompanied by folk singer and musician Benji Kirkpatrick and Devon singer-songwriter Alex Hart. Seth Lakeman was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in 2005 for 'Kitty Jay'. It catapulted Lakeman into the forefront of the new British folk movement and his follow up was the gold-selling ‘Freedom Fields’. Produced by his brother Sean Lakeman it went on to become Seth’s first of 6 UK Top 40 albums. It was the 15th anniversary of the album, which includes ‘Lady of the Sea’, ‘King and Country’ and ‘White Hare’, in 2021 which prompted a Deluxe Reissue on Vinyl with bonus tracks. Seth released his 11th studio album Make Your Mark in November 2021. Written during his enforced 18 months off the road, the album features 14 powerful, brand-new songs including the singles Higher We Aspire and title track Make Your Mark which were playlisted at BBC Radio 2. The following year, Seth was part of the ‘Sea Song Sessions’ album released in September 2022 on Topic Records. A collection of British maritime folk songs and sea shanties performed by Jon Boden, Seth, Ben Nicholls, Emily Portman and Jack Rutter.

Peter Hook first revisited the seminal Joy Division album Unknown Pleasures back in May 2010 for a commemorative charity concert and has followed it each year by performing subsequent albums from the repertoire of his bands, Joy Division and New Order. Peter Hook & The Light have since moved through each of those albums, culminating in the Factory Records Substance compilations, and recently celebrated over four decades of the continuing influence of Joy Division and Ian Curtis with the Joy Division: A Celebration concerts where both of the band’s albums were played in full.

Magnum

The band, formed in Birmingham in 1972, had notable successes in their early years, including 1982 album ‘Chasing the Dragon’ which spawned live favorites ‘ Soldier of The Line’, ‘Sacred Hour’ and ‘The Spirit’. Magnum split in 1995, however reformed with founding members and chief-songwriters Guitarist Tony Clarkin and Vocalist Bob Catley going on to release 7 albums since, including 2014’s ‘Escape from the Shadow Garden’ which reached number 2 in the UK Rock & Metal Chart, as well as number 4 in the UK Indie Charts. The band have particularly built a following in Europe, having had commercial success in Germany & Sweden, and regularly play sold out shows touring across the continent. With the current line-up a five piece, incorporating Mark Stanway on Keyboards, Bassist Al Barrow and Drummer Harry James, the band are now set to bring their own brand of Hard-Rock to the UK.
