In 2016, David released 'The Best of David Gray' and 'Gold In A Brass Age' in 2019. The K's

The K's

3 Jul 2026 - 8 Aug 2026

The K’s: Jamie Boyle (vocals/guitar); Ryan Breslin (guitar); Dexter Baker (bass); Jordan Holden (drums). These four young men are a word-of-mouth phenomenon that’s rapidly becoming too huge to ignore. On the surface, the appeal of The K’s seems simple: embodying the relatable frustrations of everyday Britain and its zero hours economy, yearning for a better life in escapist anthems like epic next single Landmines and breakthrough tune Glass Towns. But if creating timeless thrills really was so simple, other bands would rack up so many streams and routinely sell out tours, thanks to the frenzied fan community the band has nurtured. Their gigs are a guaranteed riot, but that shouldn’t overlook the sophistication that gives The K’s the immediately identifiable blueprint all special bands soon develop. Debut single Sarajevo is one of the few rock & roll songs to namecheck Austro-Hungary, notching up over 1.5 million streams in the process.

Tom Grennan

Born in Bedford but based in London, singer-songwriter Tom Grennan first found fame as the guest vocalist on Chase & Status’s track “All Goes Wrong”. A Hottest Record on Annie Mac’s Radio 1 Show, the track gave Grennan the chance to cut his teeth in the Radio 1 Live Lounge and on BBC Two’s Later… with Jools Holland. But it might not have turned out that way. As a teenager, he had a promising football career, playing for Luton Town, Northampton Town, Aston Villa and Stevenage. Tom’s first album Lighting Matches was one of the 10 best-selling debuts of 2018. Filled with huge tunes like “Found What I’ve Been Looking For”, “Barbed Wire” and “Something In The Water”, the album showcased Tom’s emotional, careworn voice, a rasp full of devilment and mischief as well as love and solace.

The Wombats

The Wombats

6 Jun 2026 - 21 Aug 2026

Regular Music presents Summer Nights at the Bandstand 2026 The Wombats with special guests Keyside & Cherryholt Doors: 6.30pm Maximum 6 tickets per online booking. Since The Wombats emerged as leading lights of the late-‘00s indie rock scene with 2007 debut A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation and its hit singles ‘Let’s Dance to Joy Division’, ‘Moving to New York’ and ‘Kill the Director’, Matthew “Murph” Murphy, bassist Tord Øverland Knudsen and drummer Dan Haggis have maintained an incredible upward momentum. 2011’s electro-flecked second album This Modern Glitch made them Top Ten regulars; 2015’s third Glitterbug saw them embraced by the TikTok generation, with “Greek Tragedy” a viral hit several times over. By 2018’s Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life they’d stepped up to arenas and 2022’s Fix Yourself, Not the World consolidated their unstoppable rise with the band’s first Number One album. Headline shows at Crystal Palace and The O2 followed amid the band’s biggest touring cycle so far, taking in arenas across the globe and culminating at Reading 2024, where the band headlined a rammed Radio One tent overspilling with crowds of 18-24-year-olds that remain their core audience twenty years into their career. “There hasn't been a concerted efforts to move sonically with the times, we just hope for the best songs and play around with them in the studio until we're excited. I’m still trying to wrap my head around how it's happening. I think we have the bodies of 40-year-old men and the souls of 13-year-old girls probably. But it's great that the songs are still resonating to new audiences. It's great that our music still clearly has youthful vigour.” - Murph The Wombats’ latest album 2025's Oh! The Ocean is their most sonically adventurous and superbly melodic yet. Its sophisticated, ahead-of-the-curve grooves (the richness of Death Cab for Cutie combined with the adventuring mindset of St Vincent and Tame Impala) still tremble with the sort of confessional emotional honesty that has made the Liverpool band’s music as cathartic and relatable to their growing young fanbase as it is catchy and playful. Regular Music’s annual Summer Nights festival, which runs from the end of July into August each year, has become a firm favourite with music fans and scooped the Unesco City of Music Best Live Event at the Scottish Music Awards in 2017. Gates for Summer Nights at the Bandstand open each night at 6.30pm with draft bars serving a range of drinks including Birra Moretti lager and a selection of delicious street food available.

By the time the ’80s were in full swing, their embrace of everything from Motown to pure pop had made them one of the biggest British bands of their time. Madness’s earliest days were as ska band The Invaders, formed in 1976 by Lee Thompson, Mike Barson and Chris Foreman. James Taylor Quartet

James Taylor Quartet

14 Jul 2026 - 23 Jul 2026

After the collapse of mod legends The Prisoners in the 1980s, and before moving to Sweden, James recorded some demos with brother David on guitar, the bass player from The Prisoners, and a drummer from down the road... and thus The James Taylor Quartet was born. From tiny acorns mighty oaks do indeed grow, and it wasn't long before the first single, Blow Up, had been released, the band were in the studio rehearsing for the Mission Impossible EP, gigs were booked, and the late great John Peel was offering a session. Skip forward 25 years and JTQ has evolved into one of the most exciting and well respected touring bands in the UK. With numerous albums to its name, the band’s recorded output is not to be scoffed at. 'Prolific' is an understatement, with albums touching genres as diverse as jazz, funk, soul, rock, and even rap, not to mention a handful of library albums in between. Each album is an absolute must for any Hammond fan: James' playing providing a solid and accomplished lead as always. Live, the band is explosive, with a breathtaking, diverse unmatched back catalogue. JTQ’s fired-up signature tune, The Theme from Starsky and Hutch, cemented its reputation as master of the jazz-funk-r’n’b workout; 60s spy themes, psychedelic and free-form jazz all added something to the band’s distinctive sound. Originally playing the Hammond B3 organ in the UK mod revival band The Prisoners, James Taylor formed his own quartet, and began playing music similar to the rare-groove jazz-funk then in vogue around London. By the early 90s, that movement had spawned acid jazz, and JTQ found itself at the forefront of a vibrant young club scene. The first single, Blow-Up, was released on the Re Elect The President label, a precursor to Acid Jazz. The band's debut album, Mission Impossible, was released the following year, predominantly consisting of covers of 60s film themes such as Alfie, Mrs Robinson and Goldfinger. In the early 1990s, the single Love The Life reached the Top 40, and the accompanying album, Supernatural Feeling, settled in the Top 30 UK charts. After releases on Polydor and Big Life Records, JTQ returned to Acid Jazz, and In The Hand of The Inevitable remains the label's biggest selling album to date. In 1997 James had the chance to fulfil a dream when he was asked to score the theme tune to Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, the spy spoof starring Mike Myers and Elizabeth Hurley. JTQ’s Whole Lotta Live album was nominated for a MOBO award in 1998, and the following year James featured on Tom Jones’ duets album, Reload. James’ musical talent has been admired by numerous other acts: The Wonderstuff, Manic Street Preachers, The Pogues and U2 have all featured James and his distinctive Hammond sound on their albums.

24 Jun 2026 - 28 Jun 2026

Sydney indie rising stars Royel Otis are embarking on a journey. Following the success of their debut EP Campus in 2021, they launched into 2022 with their exuberant single, ‘Oysters In My Pocket’, possibly the first ever pop song about bivalves. The band took the song to the stage at a series of sold-out headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne. Their latest track ‘Bull Breed’ was also accompanied by the announce of their sophomore EP, Bar ‘N Grill, via their label OURNESS. With “Bull Breed”, Royel Otis deliver another picturesque slice of guitar-laden indie mastery. Jangly chords and an upbeat drum groove serve as the perfect backdrop for Otis’ carefree vocal chants, while a warbling synth line and earworm vocal hook underpins the song's feel-good chorus. It’s a hazy psych-pop hit that reinforces Royel Otis’ status as a formidable emerging force in Australian music.
Bastille

Bastille

Founded as a solo project by singer-songwriter Dan Smith, Bastille took root in London in 2010. Their name came from Bastille Day, which not only marks the start of the French Revolution but also happens to be Smith’s birthday.
Jimmy Eat World: Bleed American 25th Anniversary
US quartet Jimmy Eat World draw on first-wave emo, pop punk and classic indie to create earnest, hook-laden alt rock. The band broke through to the mainstream with their seminal 2000 album Bleed American and hit single ‘The Middle’. Jimmy Eat World formed in Mesa, Arizona in 1993, taking their name from a drawing by guitarist Tom Linton’s younger brother Ed that depicted a third brother Jim eating the world. Linton teamed up with bassist Mitch Porter, vocalist/guitarist Jim Adkins and drummer Zach Lind to record a demo, followed by their debut EP One, Two, Three, Four in 1994. Porter was replaced by Rich Burch ahead of the band signing with Capitol Records for their 1996 debut album Static Prevails. Adkins took over sole frontman duties for the 1998 follow-up Clarity, which saw the band start to grow in popularity, partly thanks to the inclusion of the single ‘Lucky Denver Mint’ on the soundtrack to the film Never Been Kissed.
Hollywood Vampires

Hollywood Vampires

12 Aug 2026 - 22 Aug 2026

In 1972, on the Sunset Strip at a club called the Rainbow Bar & Grill, the Hollywood Vampires were born in the upstairs bar. It was a gathering place for the rock stars living in or passing through L.A. “To join the club, one simply had to out drink all of the members,” says Alice Cooper, a founding member of the Vampires. “I would walk in on a typical night” Alice says, “and John Lennon, Harry Nilsson, Keith Moon—who would usually be in a costume like a maid or a chauffeur—Bernie Taupin, Jim Morrison and Mickey Dolenz would be there. The next week might be Bernie Taupin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and Mickey Dolenz.” Three years ago, Alice and good friend Johnny Depp got together and decided the spirit of the Hollywood Vampires should live again (minus the drinking). An environment for great artists to hang, laugh and play together. The Hollywood Vampires live again with the release of the Hollywood Vampires new album. Alice and Johnny were joined by Joe Perry, who is an old friend of both of them, and the recording began: a tribute to the original Hollywood Vampires.

Flaming Lips

Flaming Lips

18 Jul 2026 - 29 Jul 2026

Melodically, their sound contains lush, multi-layered, psychedelic rock arrangements, but lyrically their compositions show elements of space rock, including unusual song and album titles—such as “Psychiatric Explorations of the Fetus with Needles”, “Free Radicals (A Hallucination of the Christmas Skeleton Pleading with a Suicide Bomber)” and “Yeah, I Know It’s a Drag… But Wastin’ Pigs Is Still Radical”. They are also acclaimed for their elaborate live shows, which feature costumes, balloons, puppets, video projections, complex stage light configurations, giant hands, large amounts of confetti, and frontman Wayne Coyne’s signature man-sized plastic bubble, in which he traverses the audience. In 2002, Q magazine named The Flaming Lips one of the “50 Bands to See Before You Die”.
Empire of the Sun

Empire of the Sun

23 Jun 2026 - 28 Jun 2026

After headlining numerous summer festivals, Empire of the Sun will launch an extensive North American headline tour that will give fans the opportunity to see the Australian band in more intimate settings. The fall outing will launch on September 1 at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC and will include shows at Pier 26 at Hudson River Park in New York City (September 5) and the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles (October 31). See below for itinerary and specific on sale dates. The band is touring in support of its new album, Ice On The Dune (Astralwerks), the follow-up to the 2008 BRIT-nominated, global smash Walking On A Dream. “Alive,” the collection’s first single, is currently No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance/Club Play Songs chart. The “Alive” video – produced by Kelvin Optical, Inc., a division within Bad Robot – has more than five million views. Empire of the Sun made its U.S. television debut on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” last month and kicked off the new monthly Jimmy Kimmel Live Stream concert series thereafter. You can view the band performing “Alive” at http://abc.go.com/shows/jimmy-kimmel-live/video/PL5520981/_m_VDKA0_lxqg3erq. The group will headline the HARD Summer 2013, Made in America, Life is Beautiful and Breakaway festivals. Rolling Stone observed, “they pumped up the jams from their just-released dance-pop tour de force Ice on the Dune with a foggy, laser-laden spectacle to dazzle 4 a.m. candy flippers” in a review of the band’s Bonnaroo set while Billboard noted, “Empire of the Sun's crowd never wavered, and soaked in the gonzo electro-pop act.” “Imagine if the centurion world of ‘Sparta’ was transported into the computer game Tron and then cast the replicants from ‘Blade Runner’ as backup dancers: that might give you some indication of the spectacle of an Empire Of The Sun show,” said MTV Australia, covering the band’s performance at the Sydney Opera House. “[Luke] Steele effortlessly held the audience in the palm of his hand with his theatrical performance.” "Wherever you dance this summer, you will be dancing to this record," said Associated Press in a review of Ice On The Dune “Everything about Empire of the Sun is larger than life: The band name, the futuristic stage personas, the Dune-inspired album art and – most importantly – the music,” said Rolling Stone. In 2008, two of Australia’s leading musician/producers, Luke Steele (The Sleepy Jackson) and Nick Littlemore (Pnau), created a vision that seemed to come from an alternative reality – a post-apocalyptic psychedelic adventure known as Empire of the Sun. The resulting album, Walking on a Dream, went on to sell more than a million copies worldwide and contained the singles “We Are The People,” “Standing on the Shore” and the RIAA certified Gold hit “Walking on a Dream.” The album helped spearhead the then-burgeoning EDM movement and earned eight ARIA awards and two BRIT nominations. The adventure continues with Ice On The Dune, which Steele and Littlemore produced with the Walking on a Dream production team. Joining Empire of the Sun as support on their headline dates are Alpine. The Australian sextet released their debut album A Is For Alpine in May 2013 thru Votiv. The album was awarded iTunes’ Australian Alternative Album of the Year, and has received early critical praise from Rolling Stone, USA Today and NPR, with Pitchfork calling it an “unforgettably light and charismatic gem.” Alpine are known for their energetic live shows featuring the double threat of front-women Phoebe Baker and Lou James on lead vocals. Public Service Broadcasting

Public Service Broadcasting

13 Jul 2026 - 26 Sept 2026

Public Service Broadcasting have been “teaching the lessons of the past through the music of the future” for more than a decade now. 2013’s debut album Inform – Educate – Entertain used archival samples from the British Film Institute as audio-portals to the Battle of Britain, the summit of Everest and beyond. Two years later, The Race For Space used similar methods to laud the superpowers’ rivalry and heroism in orbit and on the moon. In 2017, joined by voices including Manic Street Preachers’ James Dean Bradfield, Every Valley was a moving exploration of community and memory via the rise and fall of the British coal industry. Pointedly topical in its analyses, it reached number four on the UK charts. For their fourth album, Bright Magic (2021), the band take inspiration from Berlin: “It’s become an album about moving to Berlin to write an album about people who move to Berlin to write an album…”. Heralded as the band’s most varied and cerebral record, Bright Magic is an impressionist portrait of the city from the ground up, less linear and narrative than previous works, combining PSB’s use of electronics and surging guitar rock with sound samples collected in the city itself to realise the dreams of Berlin they’d constructed in their minds.
