A hotshot guitarist who plays a revved-up mixture of electric blues, hard rock, and tough psychedelia, Philip Sayce was born in Aberystwyth, Wales. When he was two years old, his family pulled up stakes and moved to Canada. Sayce grew up in Toronto, where his parents raised him on a diet of classic rock and blues, with a special fondness for Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Dire Straits, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Ry Cooder. Sayce developed a love for music early on and began learning to play guitar on a Sears acoustic given to him by his folks. Sayce started his first band when he was just 15. At 16, he began appearing regularly at Grossman's Tavern, a Toronto venue that featured open blues jams. It didn't take long for Sayce to develop a loyal following on the Toronto club scene. When Canadian blues guitarist Jeff Healey heard Sayce's work, he invited him to join his band. Sayce signed on with Healey's group, and he worked with Healey for four years, appearing on the album Get Me Some and live releases. Sayce moved to California, and he landed a gig with Uncle Kracker, playing in his road band and on the 2002 album No Stranger to Shame. A casual meeting between Sayce and GRAMMY award-winning producer John Shanks led to his next job. Shanks was scouting a new guitarist for Melissa Etheridge, and after hearing Sayce, he recommended him for the job. Between 2004 and 2008, Sayce was part of Etheridge's band and appeared on three of her studio albums, as well as two live releases. In 2009, Sayce released the album Peace Machine. Innerevolution followed in 2010. Ruby Electric (2011) and Steamroller (2012) were produced by GRAMMY award-winning producer Dave Cobb. Sayce toured diligently with his road band, sharing stages with the likes of ZZ Top and Deep Purple. Sayce performed at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival in New York City, and in 2015 Sayce struck a deal with Warner Music. That year he put out his first major-label solo effort, Influence, which was also produced by Dave Cobb. A live album was released in 2016, Scorched Earth. His most recent studio album, Spirit Rising, was released on Warner Music in 2020 and, to date, has over 11 million streams on Spotify alone. Sayce's anticipated new album is scheduled to be released in late 2023 on Atomic Gemini, his own new label.

Voivod Very few bands survive for four decades. Even fewer are those that continue to reach new creative heights, long after legendary status has been achieved. Voïvod were never like other bands: even as the thrash metal scene exploded in the early ‘80s, the Jonquière, Québec crew stood apart, both as unique visionaries and as proud subverters of the metallic norm. From early prog-thrash classics like Killing Technology and Dimension Hatröss through to the psychedelic explorations of The Outer Limits, Voïvod have been standard bearers for individuality and creative freedom for nearly 40 years. Midnight Midnight is a band fronted by one Athenar, aka Jamie Walters, a guy who has had his hand in practically anything metal coming out of Cleveland over the years. Originally just a for-fun side project, Midnight has developed into a full-fledged band, and the formula is simple -- raw, NWOBHM-inspired fare, with heavy influences from bands like Tank, Motorhead, and a bit of early Venom as well. It's certainly not complex, and there's really not a lot of variation from song to song or album to album, yet there aren't a lot of bands playing this style these days and Midnight is surprisingly effective and entertaining. From The New World - European Tour Formed in 2020, Allt is a progressive metalcore band from Karlskoga, Sweden. Known for their audiovisual storytelling and innovative approach to metalcore, Allt has announced their debut album, "From The New World." The group consists of drummer Ruben Radlauer, guitarist Jack Wetmore, vocalist Cole Haden, and bassist Aaron Shapiro. The band's music has been described as post-punk and noise rock.

The Men They Couldn't Hang came together in 1984 to perform at the alternative music festival in Camden town alongside the legendary Pogues and the Boot Hill Foot-Tappers. Paul Simmonds, Philip 'Swill' Odgers and his brother Jon, veterans of the Southampton based pop-punk band 'Catch 22', met Pogues roadie Stefan Cush whilst busking in Shepherds Bush in London. Their early line up was Stefan Cush (Vocals, Guitar), Paul Simmonds (Guitar, Bouzouki, and Keyboards), Philip Odgers (Vocals, Guitar, Tin Whistle, and Melodica), Jon Odgers (Drums, Percussion) and Shanne Bradley (Bass, Flute). Championed by the late John Peel their first single, a cover of Eric Bogle's 'Green Fields of France' (1984), became a big hit on the UK Indie charts and a staple of Peel's festive 50. Their first album, Night of a Thousand Candles, was released in 1985. It includes the singles 'Ironmasters' and 'Greenback Dollar'. Signing for MCA the following year, they recorded their second album, How Green Is the Valley, produced by Mick Glossop. Included on this album are thesingles 'Gold Rush', 'Shirt of Blue' and 'Ghosts of Cable Street'. In 1987 Shanne Bradley left the band and was replaced by Ricky McGuire, famous for touring with punk legends the UK Subs at the tender age of 17. With their third release in 1988, Waiting for Bonaparte, The Men They Couldn't Hangwere starting to achieve recognition across Europe for their political comment and raucous live shows.

Alternative folk six-piece Madra Salach announce their debut Ireland and UK headline tour kicking off with Cork on Feb 5th before performances in Clonakilty, Galway, Listowel, Limerick and Dundalk. This Is The Kit, the nom de plume of Kate Stables, has been in existence since the '00s, when Kate moved to Bristol and started playing and collaborating with local musicians. It was here where her debut album Krulle Bol took shape, recorded and produced by PJ Harvey's long-standing musical collaborator John Parish. Her second album, 2010's Wriggle Out The Restless was made in France alongside members of Francois and the Atlas Mountains before final touches from TITK's extended musical family were added in Bristol, Belgium and several points in between. The aim is to have fun playing with people whose work I really like, says Kate in her simple and direct fashion. The more you exchange and share with people the better things get and the more you learn. This is the Kit has opened for artists such as The National, Jose Gonzales, and Iron & Wine and was selected by Sharon Van Etten as her Favourite New Artist in an interview with Pitchfork. This is the Kits' 2015 album Bashed Out, was produced by The National's Aaron Dessner and released on his Brassland label. Bashed Out features performances from Aaron, his brother Bryce Dessner, Benjamin Lanz (Beirut), Thomas Bartlett (Doveman, The Gloaming) and Matt Barrick (The Walkmen) alongside her regular cast of collaborators. On its release, Bashed Out received critical acclaim, and was quickly seen as a breakthrough record. Packed out performances followed, including a headline show at the Scala, and the album was picked as Guy Garvey's Album of The Year for 2015 on BBC 6 Music. 2016 saw This is the Kit continue to tour relentlessly, including shows in Paris, a Scottish Highlands tour and an appearance at BBC 6music Festival in Bristol.
