Karnataka rose to the forefront of new, female fronted rock bands, following the release of five critically acclaimed albums. The Gathering Light, recently won Best International Album at the World Web Awards in Italy. Winning plaudits from Radio 2's Bob Harris, Karnataka have performed in the UK, USA and Europe alongside prestigious artists such as Robert Plant and Porcupine Tree.
