Intent on creating a musical sound that was rich in texture and melody, Martin Turner envisaged the band’s innovative harmony-guitar hallmark and guitarists Ted Turner and Andy Powell were recruited via a now legendary Melody Maker advert. The partnership of the original line-up of Wishbone Ash forged a unique musical identity that would produce some of rock music's best loved works and influencing numerous successful bands, resulting in millions of album sales and concert attendances. Wishbone Ash would become one of the most enduring British rock acts - its name synonymous with high quality guitar-driven melodic rock music. Five decades later, the music of the classic line-ups of Wishbone Ash continues to delight audiences worldwide through both live performances and a rich legacy of recorded work that continues to be enjoyed by fans old and new. Classic album releases such as Wishbone Ash, Argus, Pilgrimage, Wishbone Four, There’s the Rub, New England and Live Dates defined the Wishbone Ash sound and have touched the hearts of several generations of music fans. Martin Turner continues to delight audiences with performances of the band’s best loved works with his current line-up, which features guitarists Danny Willson and Misha Nikolic, and drummer Sonny Flint. The Young’uns’ live shows are renowned roller coaster rides. With heart-on-the-sleeve storytelling, beautiful lyrics, warm harmonies and relentless repartee, Sean Cooney, Michael Hughes and David Eagle (the award-winning stand-up comedian) write and sing folk songs for today. Born from empathy, crafted with care, fired by hope, and shared with joy, The Young'uns' songs have been described as ‘a heartfelt secular hymnary for these troubled times and a rallying call for humanity’ (The Scotsman). They have led the band to three BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards (including Best Album in 2018 for Strangers) and the creation of the acclaimed international theatre show The Ballad of Johnny Longstaff (based upon their 2019 album of the same name). Nearly 20 years after accidentally stumbling into the alien world of their local folk club as drunken teenagers, (and gaining their cureless name in the process) these three thirtysomething friends from Stockton and Hartlepool have never lost the joy of that first night of singing together. Whether performing in front of 5,000 people at Glastonbury Festival, writing a song about pigs with a group of school children, or presenting a programme on BBC Radio 4, Sean Cooney, Michael Hughes and David Eagle are just the same. 2022 sees The Young’uns launch their Tiny Notes project. Each date of their April tour will feature a live recording of audience choruses for their forthcoming album, with the band urging everyone to discover the joy of singing together that they found one night as teenagers in Stockton-on-Tees.

Their occasional collaboration with folk diva June Tabor has produced two cult-classic award-winning albums, Freedom & Rain and Ragged Kingdom. Curved Air's concerts and festival appearances continue to thrill a steadily increasing mass of new and old fans worldwide. Their experimental blends of classical themes, electronic sounds and pop/rock energy and beautiful, timeless songs are performed with fire and passion and tremendous musicianship. Considered (according to AllMusic) one of the most dramatically accomplished of all the bands lumped into Britain's late-1960s prog explosion, Curved Air is a pioneering British progressive rock group of musicians from mixed artistic backgrounds. They are famed for their unforgettable live performances and 'Art Rock' music the quasi-classical imprints of Terry Riley hooked onto beautiful and demonic violin combined with electronic adventurous synths and interwoven with brilliant guitar wizardry mesmerisingly embroidered by the subliminal and exotic presence of a unique lead singer Sonja Kristina. All these elements elevated them from the underground Roundhouse scene to top the album charts in the early 1970s. On 12th November 2012, much to the excitement of their fans and press worldwide, a Live CD/DVD titled Live Atmosphere was released Songs of revolution, insanity, loss, desire and ghosts: a unique compilation of powerful Curved Air songs played by a vital contemporary Curved Air. This was followed by the release of North Star, the band's first album of new material in thirty-six years. CURVED AIR, with a real band attitude and a zest for life; this is a band you want to see live for the sheer artistry of how to deliver the musical goods. (Lee Dorian, Classic Rock) All of the players impress some stunning new instrumentalists who immerse the audience in a set of swirling, whirling solos that emphasize moods and nuances and floating waves of sound that act as a counterpoint to Sonja's dramatic sense of theatricality. (Classic Rock Society magazine) Sonja Kristina prowls the front of the stage expertly playing off the energy of all the performers with her. Violinist Paul Sax pulling sounds from his instrument like a mad scientist. There's no denying they remain formidable live! (Prog magazine) While women in UK progressive rock were relatively few and far between its Sonja that wore the crown. Well the undisputed queen of British Prog is on tour again and what a joy it is to see her and Curved Air back in action. Violinist Paul Sax sweats for his art right from the off and with virtuoso wizardry sears through the set like a man possessed. The whole group of assembled musicians are perfectly qualified to recreate the band's uniqueness authentically. Catch them while you can. (Classic Rock)

An Echo Town show takes the crowd on a journey of exhilarating multi-instrumental genius, showcasing combatant fuelled drumming from Rob, on top of ethnic didgeridoo playing and lap slide guitar from Ric, all accompanied with poignant and mindful lyrics. Well known for creating a conscientious party of lyrical chanting, foot stomping, jumping in the air, and bare foot dancing from an elated and loyal audience. The brother duo are resolute in their mission to awaken the masses with music, using the stage as a platform to spread peace, love and unity at a time where they believe music is the most powerful form of expression. Whilst in the North in their younger teen years the brothers dabbled with progressive metal under the name Swamp Donkey. They soon discovered the stoke of surfing on the North-East coast which inspired a more natural and spiritual element to their musical sound, resulting in the renaming of Echo Town. After moving to the South-West in 2015 on a mission to spread their music further they were taken on by The Mojo Hobo Agency and released ‘Be Strong Troop On’ album in Summer 2016, following their release of ‘Come on Over’ in 2011, both of which were produced under Ric’s own label Wood Fire Ash Records. Since joining The Mojo Hobo Agency they have played top festivals and venues all over the UK and mainland Europe. They have had the opportunity to support bands such as My Baby (Netherlands), Xavier Rudd (Australia), Backbeat Sound System (UK), Ferocious Dog (UK), Dreadzone Soundsystem (UK) and Sound of the Sirens (UK). 2018 is set to see a third release from Echo Town. “The ultimate festival band, Newquay-based brothers Ric and Rob Harrison get everyone dancing with their unique mix of slide guitar, djembe, didgeridoo and harmonica… a quintessential Cornish surfing soundtrack” - Cornwall Live “Ric and Rob Harrison produce an avalanche of highly danceable grooves that put a big hippie smile on all our faces. Milton Jones: HA!milton

Milton Jones: HA!milton

3 May 2025 - 29 Nov 2025

This is not a musical. Milton Jones is tone deaf and has no sense of rhythm, but at least he doesn’t make a song and dance about it. He has more important things to discuss. Like giraffes... and there’s a bit about tomatoes. You might know him from Mock the Week, Live at the Apollo or Radio 4. Or that time he stood for the Scottish National Party, fought a hard campaign, but in the end had to respect the wishes of the people of Cardiff. A whole new show of daftness. You know it makes sense. Warning - contains jokes from the start.

The close-knit group meld naturally between the innovative, explosive and emotive, drawing outside inspiration from indie pop acts like The 1975, LANY and Bon Iver, to more time-honoured, West Coast styles of playing.

Van Morrison

Van Morrison

23 Jun 2025 - 31 Aug 2025

One of music’s true originals, Van Morrison’s unique and inspirational musical legacy is rooted in post-war Belfast. Born in 1945 Van heard his Shipyard worker father’s collection of blues, country and gospel early in life. Feeding off musical greats such as Hank Williams, Jimmie Rodgers, Muddy Waters, Mahalia Jackson and Leadbelly he was a travelling musician at 13 and singing, playing guitar and sax, in several bands, before forming Them in 1964. Van Morrison continued to advance on his status as a game- changing artist through the 90s and into the 21st century. Awards and accolades - a knighthood, a Brit, an OBE, an Ivor Novello, 6 Grammys, honourary doctorates from Queen’s University Belfast and the University of Ulster, entry into The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and the French Ordres Des Artes Et Des Lettres - attested to the international reach of Van’s musical art. With one of the most revered catalogues in music history and his unparalleled talents as composer, singer and performer Morrison’s past achievements loom large. But, as throughout his extraordinary career, how that past informs his future achievements and still stirs excitement and keen anticipation.

Now, he’s now set to embark on a rather unique theatre tour, where Dom will be providing a hilarious, fascinating, and slightly anarchic guide to the wacky world of conspiracies. Is the earth flat? Does Finland exist? Did JFK commit suicide? Are Q Anon mentally ill? Is Bill Gates using vaccines to take control of your mind? Is Denver Airport a massive panic room for the Illuminati? Are UFO’s piloted by lizards? In the spirt of fairness, Dom will also be inviting a well-known and highly respected conspiracy theorist, Dr Julian Northcote, to take the stage and defend the alternate view. Due to the extremely controversial views aired in the show, security will be at an optimum and audiences are warned that angry demonstrations are very likely – or is that just another conspiracy?!
