The Wurzels (originally Adge Cutler and the Wurzels but renamed The Wurzels after Adge Cutler''s death) are a British Scrumpy and Western band. Wishbone Ash would become one of the most enduring British rock acts - its name synonymous with high quality guitar-driven melodic rock music. Five decades later, the music of the classic line-ups of Wishbone Ash continues to delight audiences worldwide through both live performances and a rich legacy of recorded work that continues to be enjoyed by fans old and new. Former bassist with The La's and singer/guitarist with '90s hit makers Cast, Power has also carved out a career of his own, releasing three solo albums in the noughties. His solo work maintains the spirit of Cast songs, but also explores acoustic folk territory. He is now continuing both his solo career and touring with Cast.

The Orb virtually invented the electronic genre known as ambient house, resurrecting slower, more soulful rhythms and providing a soundtrack for early-morning ravers once the clubs closed their doors. Founded in 1988 by Alex Paterson and The KLF member Jimmy Cauty, membership of The Orb has been fluid over the years, with Paterson remaining the only constant throughout. The Orb released their fifteenth studio album, ‘No Sounds Are Out of Bounds’, in 2018 via Cooking Vinyl. These fifteen albums plus EPs, singles, compilations and live recordings have influenced countless other musicians along the way.

The Young’uns’ live shows are renowned roller coaster rides. With heart-on-the-sleeve storytelling, beautiful lyrics, warm harmonies and relentless repartee, Sean Cooney, Michael Hughes and David Eagle (the award-winning stand-up comedian) write and sing folk songs for today. Born from empathy, crafted with care, fired by hope, and shared with joy, The Young'uns' songs have been described as ‘a heartfelt secular hymnary for these troubled times and a rallying call for humanity’ (The Scotsman). The '60s group Manfred Mann is now considered, more than ever, one of the finest and most respected bands from that era. Their numerous hits were R&B based with an undercurrent of jazz - a very unusual but winning combination of playing style and substance. As a result, their records have a timeless quality and, some 55 years on, The Manfreds, with original front man, Paul Jones, will be performing many of their hits, including ‘Do Wah Diddy Diddy’, one of the most popular and instantly recognisable songs of the ‘60’s,and still the biggest audience pleaser at their concerts, along with a mix of Jazz and Blues covers and tracks from their individual solo albums. It involved buying a sports car, having a brief marital separation and running a 100k ultra marathon which really didn’t end well. Along the way her hair decided the best thing to do was abandon ship. It ain’t easy being a middle aged woman: try doing it with a combover. Thankfully Zoe has been able to explore the funny side of all these twists and turns. It's time to sell the silly car and try and put the wheels back on her life. Zoe is the host of BBC2’s Lightning. She's known as a star of Live at the Apollo and a regular on Have I Got News for You (BBC1), QI (BBC2), and Mock the Week (BBC2). Other credits include Celebrity Antiques Road Trip (BBC2), Stand Up and Deliver (C4), House of Games (BBC2). There is no doubting Eric Bibb's status as an acoustic blues legend. Since his first album in 1972 Eric has released 35 further albums and enjoyed a non-stop touring career spanning 5 decades. This has made Eric one of the leading bluesmen of his generation and allowed him to draw together a faithful and multinational ‘tribe’ of musicians with whom he has recorded and performed on stage, including such luminaries as Pops and Mavis Staples, Guy Davis, Bonnie Raitt, Toumani Diabate, and Jerry Douglas. A progressive preservationist and a fiery singer with true soul, gospel and folk roots, it will be an honour to welcome Eric Bibb back to the stage in the UK for his 2018 tour.

Neo-traditional trio of nonconformist and progressive Scottish folk music Blasting onto the scene, Project Smok is Pablo Lafuente, Ewan Baird and BBC Young Traditional Musician of the year 2020 Ali Levack, whose forward thinking Scottish traditional music has set them apart since their formation in 2017.
