The Tim Staffell Band

The Tim Staffell Band

19 Jun 2026 - 19 Jun 2026

Tim Staffell is a true musical legend. The original frontman of Smile, the band that went on to become Queen, a songwriter of rare depth and warmth, the creator of three beautiful solo albums, and a live performer who connects straight to the heart. Last year he sold out St Pancras Old Church. This year he brings his wonderful band to our legendary venue, and this one really feels special. Tim has played here before with Little Steam and with Staffell and Stewart, but this time it is his night. Front and centre, telling his stories, singing those songs, and holding the room in the way only he can. He is joined by an exceptional group of musicians who many of you will know and admire. Christian Parker, Steve Kemp King, Paul Stewart, Paul Gordon White and Charlotte Glasson are all familiar faces, and all outstanding players in their own right. Together they create something genuinely moving and memorable. This is the kind of evening people talk about long after the last note has faded. A night of great songs, great musicianship, and a shared love of music that runs deep. Tickets will go quickly, and this is one you really do not want to miss. If you are thinking about coming, now is the time to secure your place.
The Return of the Terraplanes Blues Band
Were really pleased to have The Terraplanes Blues Band back with us at The Crawdaddy Club on 17th July. If youve seen them before, youll know they bring proper, no nonsense blues. Strong vocals, tasteful guitar work and a rhythm section that keeps everything sitting just right. It's rooted in the tradition, but it never feels tired. There's always a bit of spark about it. Thursday 17th July is shaping up to be one of those midsummer nights where the room feels just right. A bit of warmth in the air, a drink in hand, and a band who know exactly how to deliver. No gimmicks. Just musicians who understand the power of a groove and arent afraid to stretch out when the moment calls for it. Were looking forward to seeing what they bring this time round. That's the joy of live music, it's never quite the same twice. If you like your blues played with feel and conviction, get this one in the diary now. Richmond will be the place to be.
