Wishbone Ash was formed by West Country musicians Martin Turner and Steve Upton, who arrived in London in 1969 to embark on their musical journey. Intent on creating a musical sound that was rich in texture and melody, Martin Turner envisaged the band’s innovative harmony-guitar hallmark and guitarists Ted Turner and Andy Powell were recruited via a now legendary Melody Maker advert. The partnership of the original line-up of Wishbone Ash forged a unique musical identity that would produce some of rock music's best loved works and influencing numerous successful bands, resulting in millions of album sales and concert attendances. Wishbone Ash would become one of the most enduring British rock acts - its name synonymous with high quality guitar-driven melodic rock music. Five decades later, the music of the classic line-ups of Wishbone Ash continues to delight audiences worldwide through both live performances and a rich legacy of recorded work that continues to be enjoyed by fans old and new. Classic album releases such as Wishbone Ash, Argus, Pilgrimage, Wishbone Four, There’s the Rub, New England and Live Dates defined the Wishbone Ash sound and have touched the hearts of several generations of music fans. As lead vocalist, bassist and key creative force, founding original member Martin Turner was central to the critical and commercial success of Wishbone Ash’s most revered albums, with his passionate vocal delivery, songwriting ability, keen melodic sense and production values being major ingredients in the definitive Wishbone Ash sound. Spear of Destiny were formed in 1983 after the demise of Kirk Brandon’s post punk iconic rockers Theatre of Hate. Kris Barras Band’s Death Valley Paradise crashed into the Official UK Album Charts at #27 in March 2022 - their highest charting album yet. Hailing a new beginning, they are heavier and darker than ever. “Dead Horses,” “My Parade,” “Who Needs Enemies” and “Chaos” were all A-listed at Planet Rock Radio and spent multiple weeks as the most played songs on the station. Guitarist Magazine hailed Barras as “reminiscent of shredders like Zakk Wylde”, and Classic Rock applauded the “pummelling riffs and from-the-gut vocals show his hard-rock colours at their brightest.” The moment they announced the first single, “Dead Horses”, they changed gear and have not looked back. From a UK tour with Back Stone Cherry in 2021 – culminating with a show at the Royal Albert Hall, before they then supported The Darkness for two special nights at London’s Shepherd Bush Empire. They spent March 2022 taking on, venue-wise, their biggest UK headline tour, selling out shows along the way. She wrote a letter to Elvis Costello about her situation and was surprised when Costello wrote an entire album for her. The Electric Boys celebrate 25 years of 'Groovus Maximus'. The Electric Boys were formed 1988 in Stockholm, Sweden and released their critically acclaimed debut album, Funk-O-Metal Carpet Ride, 1989. It was released internationally about a year later, including five new songs produced by monster-producer Bob Rock (Metallica, Mötley Crüe etc.). The Electric Boys toured tenaciously in Europe and in the U.S. while the song “All Lips N’ Hips” hit the Billboard chart and was played on heavy rotation on MTV. The follow up, Groovus Maximus, was released in 1992 with the single “Mary In The Mystery World” being a radio hit. The album was recorded in the legendary “Beatles studio” Abbey Road in London and the band continued touring mainly in the U.S.A., Great Britain and Sweden. In 1994, the harder rocking album, Freewheelin’, was released with 2 new members, "Slim" Martin Thomander and Thomas Broman. The band dissolved after a sold out farewell concert in their hometown Stockholm. After four years of playing with legendary rockers Hanoi Rocks, Conny Bloom and Andy Christell decided to reunite The Electric Boys, with the original line-up, in the beginning of 2009. The band stuck to their unique blend of riffs, groove and psychedelia, and in 2010 they recorded their comeback album, And Them Boys Done Swang, released 2011. In 2014, The Electric Boys recorded their most recent album, Starflight United, available worldwide. Past tours and support slots includes shows with Metallica, Alice Cooper, Mr, Big, Hardline, Vixen, Thunder and many more... The Electric Boys are currently working on their 6th album.
