The K’s: Jamie Boyle (vocals/guitar); Ryan Breslin (guitar); Dexter Baker (bass); Jordan Holden (drums). These four young men are a word-of-mouth phenomenon that’s rapidly becoming too huge to ignore. On the surface, the appeal of The K’s seems simple: embodying the relatable frustrations of everyday Britain and its zero hours economy, yearning for a better life in escapist anthems like epic next single Landmines and breakthrough tune Glass Towns. But if creating timeless thrills really was so simple, other bands would rack up so many streams and routinely sell out tours, thanks to the frenzied fan community the band has nurtured. Their gigs are a guaranteed riot, but that shouldn’t overlook the sophistication that gives The K’s the immediately identifiable blueprint all special bands soon develop. Debut single Sarajevo is one of the few rock & roll songs to namecheck Austro-Hungary, notching up over 1.5 million streams in the process.
Fat Dog

Fat Dog

Earthtone9

Earthtone9

18 Sept 2025 - 14 Dec 2025

earthtone9 are rightly hailed by those who know as one of the most forward-thinking, clever, musically wise and creatively smart in the history of British metal. Emerging in the late ‘90s as nu-metal was beginning to surge, their more nuanced palette and intelligent approach saw them hailed as something special and excitingly against the grain from the very beginning. Making an album a year between 1998 and 2000 – beginning with their expertly crafted Lo-def(inition) Discord debut, and culminating in 2000’s staggering Arc’tan’gent – it was a workrate as intense as the music was uniformly brilliant. After splitting in 2002 the band made a surprise return in 2013 with the crowdfunded album, IV. Following this they made only occasional appearances in the live arena (including at the ArcTanGent Festival, which purloined its name from their third album!), before once again seeming to disappear on hiatus. Now, 11 years on from their last record, they present In Resonance Nexus, a thrilling work of brains and muscle that not only stokes a fire, but sees the band's core members – vocalist Karl Middleton and guitarists Owen Packard and Joe Roberts – rediscovering and reconnecting with what makes them so special. In Resonance Nexus is the heaviest, fiercest, most heightened record they have ever made; a startling combination of almost feral intensity and the latter-day songwriting chops they displayed on the IV album. Presented by Action!. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 at all times. Under 8’s must have hearing protection.

Pentagram

Pentagram

30 Jun 2025 - 7 Jul 2025

"You can try if you want – you wouldn’t be the first – but Pentagram are undeniable. More than 50 years on from the first incarnation of the band, through decades of tumult, hard wins and tough losses, the band has cast an influence across doom the likes of which few have ever attained, and as with Candlemass, or Saint Vitus, Trouble or any other ‘legendary’ name you want to drop, modern doom cannot not take the shape it has without them.\\n Pentagram stand ready for another impossible comeback. A revamped lineup reads like a cast of ringers with guitarist/producer Tony Reed (Mos Generator, Big Scenic Nowhere) taking up six-string duties, Scooter Haslip (also Mos Generator) arriving on bass and Henry Vasquez (Saint Vitus, Legions of Doom, Blood of the Sun) atop the throne on drums, and their 10th studio album, Lightning in a Bottle, as a cause to once again take up arms and hit the road. Aligned with Italian label Heavy Psych Sounds, the album brings new ideas and perspectives while remaining true to Pentagram’s history in riffs and facebound groove." Presented by Desertscene. 4 Jun 2025 - 12 Jun 2025

Having already recorded and produced over 10 acclaimed records, had multiple live sessions and airplay on BBC Radio 2 and 3, and his music regularly featured on Sky Arts and Sky Sports, it's hard to believe that 24-year-old Cornwall-based folk singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Sam Kelly has only been performing live for 4 years. As a child, Sam spent many a night enraptured, listening to his Irish grandfather tell folk tales, sing songs, and play tunes on his melodeon. This awe and passion for Celtic music, coupled with a love for the heavy riffs of classic rock and blues, and a voice described by Mike Harding as 'one of my favourite voices ever' has led Sam on to produce some of the most exciting music on the British folk scene in recent years. With folk luminaries such as Kate Rusby, Seth Lakeman, and Cara Dillon waxing lyrical about Sam's live set, it seemed fitting when he was awarded the prestigious Horizon Award for emerging artists at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2016 at London's Royal Albert Hall. Joining Sam in the full band line up for 2017 are Ciaran Algar (fiddle, tenor guitar, bouzouki), Jamie Francis (banjo), Toby Shaer (flutes, pipes, whistles, fiddle, cittern), Graham Coe (cello), Archie Moss (melodeon) and Evan Carson (percussion). Together, they are Sam Kelly & The Lost Boys. The band is working on a brand new album for 2018 with two concert tours and a festival season to promote. With an intoxicating mix of youthful exuberance and instrumental virtuosity, Sam Kelly & The Lost Boys breathe new life into traditional music, letting it rub shoulders with contemporary originals and even the occasional surprise rock cover. Chosen by Cambridge Folk Festival as the pick of the 2016 event, they have quickly become one of the most in-demand bands on the UK festival scene. Expect to hear haunting harmonies, soaring tunes and melodies, charming anecdotes and instrumental performances of the highest calibre, all led by Sam's unmistakable vocals. The New Roses

The New Roses

17 Sept 2025 - 27 Sept 2025

The New Roses story began in 2013 in the tranquil setting of Rheingau, Germany. With the title track of their debut album Without A Trace, Timmy Rough and his band colleagues landed on the compilation of the US cult biker TV series "Sons Of Anarchy" and thus also provided the song for the "Sons Of Anarchy" DVD trailer campaign in Germany. Since then, it´s been nothing less than a steady climb to the top. The band´s played hundreds of shows in their home country and abroad, signed a worldwide deal with Napalm Records (Universal), and released another 4 albums; all of which enjoyed high chart positions. The 2019 album Nothing But Wild, with the rock radio hit "Down By The River," reached #10 in the German album charts! Musically, The New Roses are an explosive force, taking their cues from idols like Guns N'Roses, AC/DC, Kid Rock, Metallica and The Black Crowes, but doing it in a very unique way. This musical concept makes The New Roses one of the few contemporary German rock bands to play on international soil. Their tours have taken the band to the biggest festivals in Europe such as Hellfest (FR), Sweden Rock (SE), Hard Rock Hell (UK), Masters Of Rock (CZ), and Rockfest Barcelona (ES), among others, where they shared the stage with greats like Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, The Scorpions, KISS and many more.

La Sécurité

La Sécurité

21 Aug 2025 - 27 Aug 2025

Psych presents: La Sécurité + Guests La Sécurité (Montréal/Tiohtià:ke) is a collective whose art punk is equal parts: jumpy beats, off-kilter arrangements and minimalistic melodic hooks. The music is all about living dangerously, perfectly agreeable to being blasted onto dancefloors; while the lyrics share the ethos of the Riot Grrrl movement, and celebrate the autonomization of women, friends (mean and nice) as well as benevolence. These five scattered, yet creatively concerted entities also propose a wide arsenal of D.I.Y. music videos, visuals, screenprints, patented dance moves, etcetera! Debut album Stay Safe! (June 16th, 2023 via Mothland) showcases songs that are empowering, flush with urgency, but also denote a dash of melancholia. Bill Pearis from BrooklynVegan describes the long-player as “an enticing batch of party-friendly jams shouted in sneering Franglais that recall everything from Le Tigre to Neu! to Kleenex/Liliput (also Montreal’s Duchess Says)”. As they gear up for their forthcoming US tour supporting The Go! Team, La Sécurité tease us with a first single via British imprint Bella Union, dancy-topsy-curvy “Detour” (October 22nd, 2024), also available on the other side of the pond via boutique label Mothland (CA/US). Pierce Brothers

Pierce Brothers

27 Jan 2026 - 3 Feb 2026

After an extended hiatus where they spent their time away from the touring circuit, travelling, writing and recording new music, Pierce Brothers have today announced the release of their new single Kanko. A mellow acoustic, harmony-based single with a driving beat, Kanko calls to a freedom found in the mountain air, reminiscing on that free feeling and remembering it will come again after this time of isolation. Pierce Brothers have also released a clip that throws back to their extensive time on the road travelling, together with performances filmed in isolation at their homes. Co-written over a weekend with singer/songwriter and producer Garrett Kato (Ziggy Alberts) who has recently released another cowrite with Julia Stone (Breath It In), mastered by Joe Carra at Crystal Mastering (The Tesky Brothers, The Cat Empire) Kanko has catchy hooks and an uplifting message. For fans of the chilled folk vibes or Angus and Julia Stone, Ziggy Alberts and Garrett Kato, Kanko is a smooth, beat driven track that calls out to easier times to come. The first release from Pierce Brothers since 2018, Kanko recalls heavily back to their acoustic roots beginning with two acoustic guitars; something that they really wanted to reach for again. ?We?ve done a lot of varied styles over the last few releases and we really wanted to get back to our folk roots, simple songs with heart and a basic message behind them,? Jack says, ?we?ve taken some time off touring for the first time in 8 years and this song is about going to that place. Going to be free. Finding solace and freedom in the mountain air - that?s what ?Kanko? is; a mountain I visited while travelling in Japan, when we came home I loved it so much that we used the name for my dog.? The clip for Kanko was a bit of a process in the time of COVID-19. With the music video shoot in New Zealand (and Jack?s wedding) cancelled, brothers Jack and Pat had to get creative in how film the new clip for Kanko. Setting up in Jack?s home studio, they ran footage taken from their extensive touring around the world with Tash Sultana in 2019. ?We had big plans on making a little trip while we were in New Zealand and getting some of the beautiful landscapes and mountains as a feature, but then we had to cancel it all, so we had to improvise,? Pat recalls. ?The song is about holding on and knowing that those times will come again so we used the footage from tours we?ve done over the last few years, and filmed new stuff in our little home studio, with a cast and crew of just the two of us. I think it reinforces that feeling, that we will get through all this, that this isolation won?t be forever, and we can always make do!? Whilst touring plans have been heavily impacted, the brothers will be doing several Live from the Loungeroom livestreamed single launch shows on Friday May 22 at 7pm AEST and Monday June 1 at 7pm ? to kick off a warm winter for all with Pierce Brothers. ?Playing live has been the most important aspect of our career and now that that has changed we?ve wanted to set up our home studio into a stage of sorts,? Jack says, ?it has given us an opportunity to try new instruments like the banjo? sparingly!? In addition to the new music they?ve been working, Pat Pierce (along with social worker friend Prue Walker) has started Balancing Act, an initiative providing online sessions to persons with a disability, the platform connects artists, musicians, performers, and entertainers with children and young people who need support to engage in community or social activities. KANKO will be the first 100% independent release from Pierce Brothers since they jumped onto the scene with 2014?s It?s My Fault and is the first single from a larger body of work being released throughout 2020. ?We?re going to be releasing a new single every 6-8 weeks this year. We can?t tour these new songs at the moment, so we?ll be slowly rolling out songs from the new album all year. We?re so stoked to be finally releasing music again, even if we can?t play live.? says Jack, ?To be releasing independently again is so exciting, we?ve found ourselves more excited now with the songs we have coming up than we?ve felt for years! We can?t wait for you all to hear it.?
