Leith's seafarers travelled all across the world. On these long voyages they would entertain themselves with crafts, games, and music. Join traditional Scots singer Joss Cameron and learn about the history of sea shanties before having a go at singing your own seafaring songs! This unique experience includes a tour of Trinity House followed by shanties in our sixteenth century vaults.

Discover the animals that sailors might meet on their travels and take part in our activity trail. You can also visit our sixteenth centuries vaults - once used as a school for young sailors to learn mathematics and navigation - and handle objects used at sea. Trinity House has no visitor car park and there are some access restrictions at this venue.
