Ian as Freddie Mercury replicates Freddie Mercury’s live shows with the looks, mannerisms, vocals, charisma, high energy & showmanship that Freddie was so famous for. The Freddie and Queen Experience are some of the finest musicians in UK, including arguable the most established & best professional Brian May Tribute Andy Wills. The full band perform with replica outfits instruments & perform a full recreation of Queen’s Live shows, based around Queen at there very best, the 86 ‘Magic tour’. Fronted by the most authentic Angus Young, and 80’s era Brian Johnson in the business; AC/DC UK deliver up to a 2 hour powerhouse show, featuring all the AC/DC hits; with a few fan favourites thrown in to boot! The experienced backline drive out the set with the same tenacity, volume, and passion as the real deal! All the AC/DC gimmicks are brought out to whip the crowd into a frenzy! From Angus’ famed striptease, Brian’s iconic flat cap, a giant inflatable Rosie, and fully firing cannons to salute those who are ready to rock! June 2018 saw the British tribute band, AC/DC UK embark on one of their biggest shows in the band's history. Closing the Friday night of Graspop, the band played just after legendary headliner's Iron Maiden to a packed out Metal Dome. Other acts to play the hallowed turf in Dessel, Belgium included Guns N' Roses, Ozzy Osbourne, Volbeat, The Darkness, Avenged Sevenfold, Judas Priest, Marilyn Manson and a raft of other rock superstars. The past several years have seen the band play several other notable shows and festival's alongside the likes of Alice Cooper, The Darkness, Steve Vai, Santana, Magnum, Within Temptation, Saxon, and more.

So come join me in a show where I’ll give you a 1st hand insight from my delusional eyes to what goes on in my ever expanding mind with stories of how I’ve manage to survive through a life of total confusement to how and why I now prefer to be alone, mostly!

The Skids formed in 1977 in their home town of Dunfermline, Scotland by Richard Jobson, Stuart Adamson, Bill Simpson & Tom Kellichan. After releasing an independent single the band were played by John Peel, supported The Clash in concert and then were signed to Virgin Records in 1978. Their first singles were ‘Sweet Surburbia’, ‘The Saints are Coming’ and ‘Into the Valley’ - the latter reaching the UK Top Ten in early 1979. Their seminal debut album ‘Scared to Dance’; came out in 1979 and was quickly followed by two chart singles – ‘Masquerade’ and ‘Working for the Yankee Dollar’. Both singles were taken from the Bill Nelson (Be Bop Deluxe) produced second album ‘Days in Europa’. The album also featured new member Rusty Egan of Rich Kids & Visage fame after the departure of Tom Kellichan. The band released two more albums ‘The Absolute Game’ (1980) and ‘Joy’ (1981) before splitting. Stuart Adamson went on to have worldwide success with his new band Big Country. The Skids were at the heart of the punk scene in Scotland and took their music to London where they were signed by Virgin records. They made 4 albums and had numerous hit singles including Into the Valley, The Saints are Coming, Masquerade and Working for the Yankee Dollar. The most recent Skids lineup includes Richard Jobson, Martin Metcalfe and Fin Wilson (Goodbye Mr Mackenzie), Nick Hernandez and Connor Whyte.

The Scottish Bonsai Open Exhibition will again take place in 2025 featuring: • an extensive display of over 100 bonsai trees • advice and information on the hobby • traders selling trees, pots, tools etc As a special addition this year the exhibition will include a “Japanese Village” displaying examples of Japanese culture and crafts including: • Ikebana (flower arranging) • kintsugi, (repairing ceramics with gold, silver or brass) • origami (art of folding paper into decorative shapes) • calligraphy (Japanese lettering and design) • sumo (Japanese wrestling) • kyudo (traditional Japanese martial art that involves archery) • boro stitching and sashiko (Japanese practice of repasiring and stitching textile items) • shiatsu (Japanese massage technique) • Kimono dressing (how to dress in a kimono) As a special feature, our Japanese Village will also include musical interludes on Japanese instruments such as the koto and shamisen. Refreshments will also be available.

Once again, WinterStorm – Scotland’s Festival of Rock held annually in November on the beautiful and accessible west coast of the country - has curated a diverse long weekend of rock. The line up for the ninth version of the event offers everything from symphonic European metal to UK blues, a touch of Americana, a dose of folk metal. There is also a good chunk of prog, some US hard rock, punk, funk and a good splash of AOR. And to mark the influence of 1980 on WinterStorm’s creation and history, they’ll be celebrating “The Spirit of ‘80” with a string of rock and NWOBHM artists, 45 years on from the greatest year for hard rock music. The independent festival has unveiled the first 18 bands (from 40) including Iron Maiden’s founder Steve Harris' British Lion returning to Ayrshire, Californian Rockers Ugly Kid Joe who are guaranteed to electrify the audience, US melodic hard rock band Hardline return after a show-stealing 2021 performance and the legendary Russ Ballard, known for penning classics like "Since You Been Gone" and "God Gave Rock and Roll to You," promises a set packed with sing-along anthems. Scotland's own High Fade will bring a bit of Funk to the stage whilst Richard Jobson’s Skids will inject a bit of Punk! NWOBHM veterans Praying Mantis and Demon will bring their classic heavy metal sound to Troon, while The Raven Age - who've toured internationally with Iron Maiden, Killswitch Engage, and Alter Bridge, represent the cutting edge of modern British metal. Pat McManus Band will celebrate the sounds of Irish rock legends Gary Moore and Rory Gallagher, while Kingdom of Madness keeps the early Magnum spirit alive. Italian progressive power metallers Vision Divine bring international flavour, and the eclectic Wytch Hazel blend folk-rock with NWOBHM influences. and represent the local scene alongside returning favourites like Scarlet Rebels from Wales and melodic rockers, Collateral. Blues-rock enthusiasts will appreciate Derbyshire's These Wicked Rivers, while Scarborough's This House We Built and Victory or Die graduate from last year's Sessions stage to the Steve Strange Main Stage.
