Lost on Earth after her spaceship crashes, Beegu wanders off to find some friends. She is a friendly little creature, but the Earth People don't seem very welcoming at all. So far she has only met the BIG ones; perhaps the little people are a different matter . . . Alexis Deacon’s much-loved tale about friendship, respect and the importance of including others is brought to life in this heart-warming stage adaptation written and directed by Debbie Hannan. A modern children’s classic, Beegu was New York Times Book Review Best Illustrated Book of the Year and shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal, with Alexis Deacon being named one of Booktrust's ten Best New Illustrators (2008). Get ready to colour, play and drive into the adventure of a lifetime with Ready Steady GO! This fun, craft-based theatre experience will get everyone colouring and creating together to build your own cardboard car. Stop at the bubbly car wash, zoom through tricky road works and down slippery roads – all while having fun learning about road safety! You'll even get the chance to pass your driving test and proudly drive your own car home. A Line Art returns to the Unicorn with Ready Steady Go!, an immersive theatre show for 3-8 year olds combining live performance, music, storytelling and painting into one interactive art show. The show is suitable for ages 3 to 8 years (not suitable for under 3s due to the size of the car).
