The School for Scandal by Richard Brinsley Sheridan
This perennial classic, from 1777, springs to life again as our production runs the gamut of Sheridans irresistible comic scenarios. The rumour-mongers of Lady Sneerwells motley clique rampage through high society, ruining reputations as they go. But in the end, their hapless, loveable victims turn the tables on the trolls and hypocrites, and goodness prevails as it always must! Two hundred and fifty years after it was written, The School for Scandal remains one of the funniest landmarks of English comedy.
