Conducted as always by former Classic FM Music Teacher of The Year Chris Wormald, Eagley is commemorating its milestone anniversary in numerous ways, from being filmed by ITV this Summer to already qualifying for the 2025 National Brass Band Championship Finals to be held this Autumn, being promoted to the First Section and organising reunion meals, social events and concerts. Special guest soloist at the 175th anniversary Victoria Hall Eagley concert is Mike Lovatt, Lead Trumpet of the award-winning John Wilson Orchestra and BBC Big Band and featured playing on many Harry Potter, James Bond and Hollywood films since making his debut on the Richard Gere, Renee Zellweger and Catherine Zeta Jones musical film Chicago in 2002. Mike will be playing a number of pieces in both halves of the Victoria Hall concert which will also feature Eagleys award-winning Community Choir, Community Band and a specially convened reunion band throughout the second half of what promises to be an exceptional evening and unique opportunity to experience the incredible Mike Lovatt playing here in Bolton.
