Named a 2023 Classic FM Rising Star and One to Watch by Gramophone Magazine, British violinist Mathilde Milwidsky has been praised by The Strads Charlotte Gardner for her perfect intonation and beautiful shaping and colouring, comprehensively nailing each new stylistic and emotional universe as she went. She was the sole British violinist to be selected for the 2024 Queen Elisabeth Violin Competition, during which the Belgian national newspaper Le Soir praised her performance for its mastery and musicality. MAthilde will be performing in Wakefield with pianist Richard Uttley on her way to an extensive tour of recitals throughout Scotland.

Toby Cook performs internationally as a chamber musician and soloist, recently including at Kings Place London, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and Philharmonie Berlin. He is a Hattori Foundation and Villa Musica artist, winner of the Maopolska competition, the Barbirolli Prize at the Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition and the Len Lickorish Memorial Prize at the Royal Overseas League International Strings Competition.

Daniel Shao is a versatile British-Chinese flautist who regularly performs with national orchestras, chamber ensembles and as a soloist. Daniels awards and recognition include winning the Royal Over-Seas League Competition Wind Prize 2024, featuring as a Classic FM Rising Star 2023, and being televised as a BBC Young Musician Wind Finalist 2014.
