Wonderin' Y: How Slade's Drummer Survived In the summer of 1973 at the height of his fame, Slade's drummer Don Powell was involved in a devastating car accident, leaving him with brain injury that resulted in severe and lasting memory loss. Award winning writer and performer Ian Pearce collaborated with Don to recreate the emotional journey to recovery in this gripping and emotional one man show. Audrey has left the heartbreak of Hollywood behind, arriving in Walthamstow for a boogie woogie and a drinky winky. Expect lively audience play, spontaneous song, and Audrey hand feeding mince pies straight to the crowd. The evening closes with Moody Judy. Stranded in Manchester during a winter storm, Judy Garland discovers The Smiths. Natural Voices - fun, funky choirs for all! Taking the stuffiness out of choirs! Natural Voices was set up by Lizzy Renihan as a chance to relax, clear the day’s worries from your mind and realign your body, releasing tension with gentle breath work. Then we ease into our funky warm-ups moving on to small sections of easy, popular songs. Finally, a new song to work on which changes every week. There is no need to sight-read, we learn by ear. Absolute beginners are very welcome. As long as it feels good and seems comfortable, that is the best possible place to start. You sing in a comfortable, supportive group. You can blend in without being feeling exposed or take a solo with our great backing vocals.
