LOVE and DANCING returns for the first time in 2026 with their unique playlist of Eighties Cool Cuts, Classics and Curveballs. DJ Steve Proctor is internationally acknowledged as one of the original DJs involved with the explosion of Electronic Dance Music and Alternative dance tracks known as New Romantic/Futurist in the early Eighties, as well as being one of the original DJ/Producers who brought Acid House/Balearic to the attention of Europe in the late Eighties. And as this year celebrates 40 years since House Music first appeared in the UK charts, this LOVE and DANCING will be reminding us all of those exciting early years of the scene. Expect everything from ABC to ACID HOUSE, Futurist to Phuture, and everything in between. Once again Steve is proud to be joined by DJ EVE, and theyre both looking forward to seeing you on the dance floor.

In recent times, she has concentrated on taking her '9 to 5 Show' across the length and breadth of the country and beyond. Jo is a performer with an attitude and ability much like Dolly herself.

Natural Voices - fun, funky choirs for all! Taking the stuffiness out of choirs! Natural Voices was set up by Lizzy Renihan as a chance to relax, clear the day’s worries from your mind and realign your body, releasing tension with gentle breath work. Then we ease into our funky warm-ups moving on to small sections of easy, popular songs. Finally, a new song to work on which changes every week. There is no need to sight-read, we learn by ear. Absolute beginners are very welcome. As long as it feels good and seems comfortable, that is the best possible place to start. You sing in a comfortable, supportive group. You can blend in without being feeling exposed or take a solo with our great backing vocals.

The Future Shape Of Sound are a 9-piece Rock'n'Roll Gospel outfit based in East London, spear-headed by accomplished music producer Alex McGowan aka "Captain Future" and fronted by powerhouse lead vocalist Claire Allen. Visualise a bunch of Rock'n'Roll, blues musicians and gospel singers coming together to rock out in a disused circus tent! Midgitte Bardot's Personal Spot is an interdisciplinary performance night and knees up. Previously resident at Peckham Levels, the team are bringing the show to Walthamstow for the first time. Expect drag, performance art, radical weird stuff, bops, big laughs, and a smack of liberation from today’s costly world. Probably a showtune or two. And a Raffle (previous reviews: “good even for People Who Hate Raffles.”) There will be an indulgent afterparty with DJs to keep things going until late.

A night of live music featuring: Palindrones - an emotionally immersive, captivating, dark electronic duo from South London. They take listeners on a shimmering and cathartic sonic journey with dreamy Industrial Synthpop, infused with pounding rhythms, haunting, evocative vocals and esoteric ambiance. The Bleeding Hours - bluesy noise, twang, ill-feeling; no melody too pretty to be utilised then fed into the wood chipper. Ruby Wednesday - an artist, performer and writer in London. Beginning their professional performing career in burlesque, drag and queer performance, Ruby has performed internationally alongside writing their debut album Narcissus with lifetime friend and collaborator, Russell Lanigan. Narcissus is a concept album inspired by the occult, the exploration of self, relationships and our connections to the Universe. Bringing together musical influences from shoegaze, post-punk and alternative indie rock with melodic guitar, haunting synth and lyrical vocals. The album stitches together blinks of existence that leave lasting impressions and connect many of us through our experiences.

Live sets, demos and talks; polished or first-timers, whacky or experimental - we love it all. Book to play or walk-in on the night. We encourage people to bring kit along even if they don't fancy playing, as this allows others to see instruments they might not otherwise own. This helps facilitate the sharing of tips and tricks and promotes an interest in the hardware we all get excited about listening to and using.
