Laugh-Able Comedy Night with Joshua Robertson Headline
Laugh-Able Ends it's 24/25 season in style with another amazing lineup of the most up and coming Acts with Disabilities and Mental Conditions on the Circuit Acts Include..... Eva Jade Andrews Paggy RG Scott Oswald Oro Rose George Sutton Oli Rodan Your Host Mark Nicholas (Disability Champions Award 2023, Amateo Award 2022, West End New Act Of The Year Semi Finalist 2018) "Impressively Skilled" (The Scotsman) "Mark's one of the best new acts on the circuit, check him out before he's famous!" (Joe Wells) And your Amazing Headliner Joshua Robertson (Tour Support For Tom Stade and Shaparak Khorsandi As seen on BBC Three and Dave.) Comedian profile Joshua Robertson Biography Joshua is a stand-up comedian, writer and actor living in London. Joshua had a severe motorbike crash when he was 11 years old. He spent 4 months in a coma and now lives with a physical disability. He started performing standup comedy at 19 and has since performed around the world and across the UK, including regular appearances at The London Comedy Store. Joshua has performed 3 one hour shows in the Adelaide Fringe, Brighton Fringe and Camden Fringe, and has been a support act for Tom Stade and Shappi Khorsandi. DAD JOKE, a comedy short which Joshua co-wrote and stars in, was commissioned by the BFI and Film London and premiered at the BFI London Film Festival. Loosely based on Joshua’s life, it sees a disabled comedian performing a make-or-break gig on the night his first child is born. Joshua was selected for the Edinburgh Film Festival’s Talent Lab Connects to develop Dad Joke into a TV series. "Joshua is a great comedic talent, but also completely unapologetic, he gives no fucks, which I love, especially with the awkwardness of other stand-ups. He may not fit the sanitised ‘disabled stand-up’ you’re used to, but actually, that’s vital" (Neurodiverse Review)
