Major Influential - https://www.instagram.com/major_influential/ - a new events collective launch night with: BAD WITH PHONES - https://www.instagram.com/badwithphones/ Bad With Phones is a one-off. The self-proclaimed ‘extra guy’ is extra in unique ways, and his 2024 debut album CRASH holds a high-wire duality of instant recognisability and true individuality. Manny, as he’s known to his friends, is a guitarist and frontman, a future don of wierdo pop, R&B, rap and post-punk in a pink and blue wig and sunglasses. He’s here to transmit songs that are epic and iconic, low key hypnagogic and soaked in bliss and damage like Tyler The Creator, Grace Jones or Basquiat if they’d grown up in 1990s Deptford listening to Sade and David Bowie. This album is packed with intimate anthems and comedown soothers for the day after a mangled night. FREDDY FORBIDDEN - https://www.instagram.com/freddyforbidden/ Freddy Forbidden - previously known as Fred Jones - born and bred in Newham, East London, is a Artist, Poet and Model built of a world of philosophy, spirituality and anthropology. The experimental sound of Freddy is a merge of his raw Newham grime patterns with classic rock melodies, playfully arranged on top of heavy-hitting punk and futuristic trap beats RY-GUY - https://www.instagram.com/ryguy.ryguy/ Art pop meets psyche soul. The Sound Of What’s Left: Film + Live Music
The Sound Of What’s Left is a documentary celebrating London’s precious and few remaining grassroots gig venues. Join us for for a screening and some live music from acts featured in the film - you might even see yourself in one of the scenes. The Sound Of What’s Left was filmed over a five month period at two legendary and beloved venues, The Windmill Brixton and The George Tavern. Featuring important voices from these venues' communities as well as insights from the Music Venue Trust and subculture experts, the documentary shines a light on why grassroots venues are more important than ever - and yet they are under threat. The film was inspired by experiences and conversations had at gigs and the news that 2023 was the worst year on record for the UK’s grassroots music venue sector, with over a tenth of venues closing. The Sound Of What’s Left serves as both a moving tribute and a call to action to protect vital hubs of culture and community. Directed by Yazzi Gokcemen, Cinematography by Mesa Barbusci. With live sets from: STAR CITY - Electro punk from the people's band formerly known as Pyongyang https://www.instagram.com/star_city_band/ THWACK! - London-based punk band with a cello! https://www.instagram.com/thwackstagram/ MM'99 - Poland-born, London-based singer, songwriter and producer, blending the elements of hyperpop, electronica and ambient with the use of ethereal vocals and samples, https://www.instagram.com/mm99forever/ Presented by Windmill Brixton. Fatboi Sharif

4 Nov 2025 - 4 Nov 2025

FATBOI SHARIF - https://www.instagram.com/fatboi_sharif The Garden State Gargoyle, Fatboi Sharif, is an American avant-garde Hip-Hop artist that is looking to take over the globe with his abstract lyricism, spine-chilling soundscapes, illuminating intensity, and his million-dollar smile. His debut “Ape Twin” from 2017 was re-released on vinyl, via Needle to the Groove, with exclusive bonus tracks only available on wax. The reason Sharif can re-release a project from 2017 in 2025 is because his sound is evergreen. But for good measure he released a brand new album - Endocrine - in summer 20205. Fatboi Sharif is one of the most charismatic and embracing individuals you’ll have the pleasure of meeting. The Garden State Gargoyle of Elaborate Literature Challenging the Unknown. “Sharif is one of the most distinct artists across any scene.” - Rolling Stone “Imagine a Cenobite raised on MF DOOM and Wu-Tang Clan, and you’ve got something approximating a rapper like Fatboi Sharif.” - FADER "I want to create my own genre.” - Fatboi Sharif Presented by Windmill Brixton.
