An evening of opera in the beautiful gardens at Wyke House [https://crosseyedpianist.com/tag/wyke-house-wyke-champflower/], just outside Bruton, Somerset. This popular annual event, for one evening only, features The Echoing Air [https://www.theechoingair.com] ensemble - a company of six opera singers and pianist Libby Burgess, performing a variety of famous and contrasting scenes from opera, together with a picnic interval on the lawn by the lake. Venue address: Wyke House, Wyke Champflower, Somerset, BA10 0PW. The evening begins at 5.15pm, where you are welcome to arrive, receive a complimentary drink and find a picnic spot. The performance begins at 6pm and the interval will be between 6.45pm-7.45pm. The performance ends at 8.45pm and then you are welcome to stay on site, gather round a fire pit and enjoy the beautifully lit up orchard. Gardens close at 10pm. In the event of bad weather, the performance will be moved to an inside venue and you will be informed via email. No refunds available but tickets may be transferred. Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times. No dogs. Toilets available. Please take all litter home. Dress warmly. Please take care whilst you are on site, there will be firepits and areas of the garden and farmyard that will not be illuminated, by purchasing a ticket you enter at your own risk.
