Anton Lesser's A Christmas Carol
This event has been archived!

Anton Lesser stars in this candlelit one-man show of Charles Dickens' Christmas classic, combining unforgettable storytelling with captivating music from Orchestra of the Swan.
All of the much-loved (and feared) characters are brought to life in the atmospheric setting of Oxford's Sheldonian Theatre.
Star of stage and screen, Anton Lesser (Wolf Hall, Endeavour, Game of Thrones, Disney's Andor) has read all of Dickens' works for audio and starred in the BBC's Dickensian. Anton is The Swan's Associate Artist for 2024.
Will Tiny Tim live to see another Christmas? Can Scrooge recover his humanity and learn to love the fellow men he seems to despise?
Dickens will make you laugh and make you cry as you follow Scrooge's supernatural adventures on Christmas Eve…
An unmissable start to the season's celebrations... for every one!
