Tom Hindle'Murder on Lake Garda' Big Town Read!
In 2024, the Wantage Literary Festival is set to kick off the Big Town Read. We are delighted to announce that Tom, a local author, has been selected as the first writer to be featured in the Wantage Big Town Read. Tom Hindle, a Leeds native who now calls Oxfordshire home, lives with his wife, a cat, and two surprisingly clever tortoises. He is the author of several novels, including A Fatal Crossing, The Murder Game, and our chosen Big Town Read, 'Murder on Lake Garda'. Our aim is to make this event more accessible by offering it at a reduced price, hoping to attract a large audience to our first Big Town Read. Additional copies will be made available in the library for individuals and book clubs to borrow. The Wantage Bookshop will also stock extra copies for purchase. The event will feature Tom discussing the book, followed by an engaging Q&A session and a book signing. We look forward to your participation in this new yearly initiative of the Wantage Literary Festival. This is adult fiction therefore not recommended for children.
