JOIN Britain's Got Talent comic sensation and TV soap star Jack Carroll for a night of belly laughs at Odsal Stadium for this charity night to raise funds for the wonderful Brighouse based charity Focus4Hope.
Jack became an overnight stand-up star after reaching the final of Britain’s Got Talent in 2013. His audition on the ITV show has received over 12 million views on YouTube! Although Jack came second on the show at just 14 years old, he has since worked with comedy greats like Jason Manford and Vic Reeves, while also performing stand-up on shows such as ITV1’s Sunday Night At The Palladium and It’s Been A Funny Old Week. He’s also appeared on CBBC shows such as The Dog Ate My Homework and 4 O’Clock Club.
Jack, whose cerebral palsy is often the subject of his act, was awarded a Pride of Britain Award in 2012 in the “Teenager of Courage” category. He has truly cemented his place on the national comedy circuit and the we are very lucky to have him join us.
As well as being as a stand-up comedian, Jack has firmly established his talents in acting, securing roles in film and TV. And if you like your soap's then you will know what Jack is doing in 2024!!!!
He has starred in Father Brown, Doctors, Red Riding Hood, Murder They Hope and co-wrote and starred in award winning Mobility. He has also been in Ministry of Curious Stuff, BBC1’s Big School, and Sky’s critically-acclaimed sitcom Trollied. Other television credits include CBBC’s Sam & Mark’s Big Friday Wind Up, ITV’s This Morning and BBC1’s The One Show.
And in late 2023, funny guy Jack landed his biggest acting role to date in one of the UK's most popular television shows. But Jack hasn't forgot his comedy roots and is on his way to Odsal to bring the roof off with his unique brand of humour.
Opening the show is Bolton funny man Adam Anwar, who shines a hilarious light on his mixed heritage. This guy has a unique take on life and is a future star in the making. Wacky battle reinacter 'The Mighty Swob' and two of the finest new female comics on the circuit, Becky Heaviside and Rachel Hough, complete the middle section. MC for the evening is Derby based Bulls supporter Anthony Williams.
