Over the two day course you’ll get to grips with features including gradient meshes, blending modes, and custom brush creation as well as exploring vector illustrations, typography, and logo design. Paul Smith’s creative story began at an early age with him painstakingly learning to recreate punk logos onto his school bag at the end of the ’70’s until he could ink them from memory. Along with dinosaurs, nature and wildlife, drawing in the form of pencil, ink and acrylic paint was always his first love. Technophobic by nature, until playing the first Tomb Raider game and being blown away by what was possible in this new digital world; he went off to study creative media in Amsterdam at the end of the 90’s and didn’t look back. Well regarded and as friendly as a labrador, Paul is based in the UK, specialises in Logo Design, Brand Identity, Graphic Design and the delivery of printed materials. Despite an impressive national and international client roster, Paul remains a completely down-to-earth and easy guy to work with. Still completely besotted with Adobe Illustrator even after the 20+ year daily relationship they have.
