Born in Italy, Sofia Sacco moved to the UK in 2019 to study at the Royal Academy of Music. She was the recipient of the Francis Simms Prize in 2021 and winner of both the Bach International Music Competition and the A. Baldi International Music Competition. She was appointed Hodgson Fellow at the Royal Academy of Music and recently awarded the Aud Jesen Fellowship. She has played extensively throughout Europe and Asia, both in solo recitals and as a soloist with orchestras. The programme is entitled: “Miniatures and Sketches”, and comprises works by: COUPERIN, DAQUIN, RAMEAU, LULLY, J.S. BACH, CLEMENTI, RESPIGHI, SHOSTAKOVICH and KURTÁG.
