The buildings at Hidcote.
A historical tour of Hidcote’s buildings.
10:30 to 11:00
7 June, 12 July, 9 August, 28 August, 7 September.
The visitor to Hidcote today enter the garden by passing through the courtyard. Many pause and look around at the buildings with their eclectic architectural styles: some originally built in the 18th century through to others built during the height of the Arts and Crafts Movement.
Join Building Historian Roger Johnson for a series of 30-minute tours over the summer looking at these buildings. Find out why the buildings evolved and how this can tell us so much about Hidcote’s past and the lives of the people who lived and worked there.
