Then it's off to our next destination, the Odeon Leicester Square (1937) and the Warner Theatre (1938) both of which have kept their original facades, then onto the Prince of Wales Theatre(1937), where Jessie starred in Charlot's Review of 1928,alongside stars like Gertrude Lawrenceand Jack Buchanan.
Our next stop is The Blue Posts pubin Soho, near to where Jessie was born in 1907. The pub is filled with memorabilia and the upstairs room, where she first learned to dance, will be specially opened for us. The landlord is kindly providing refreshments, so we can drink a toast to her memory!
