Theres a lot to choose from - all of Quincy's music is awesome!
The late, great Quincy Jones composed and arranged hits for some of the biggest names in jazz and show business including Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson and Ray Charles. His music for hit parades, film and theatre spans over 60 years with a string of awards to his credit (Emmys, Golden Globes, Academy and Tony awards). Quincy started his jazz career in Tommy Dorseys band but soon after, still in his twenties he became music director and second trumpeter for Dizzie Gillespie, from there his producing and arranging career took over. So, theres a wealth of great music for pianist Alex Steele to choose from and hell be including pieces from the works of Michael Jackson, Dinah Washington, Miles Davis, George Benson and more. Much vaunted young London star trumpeter Tom Dennis will add melody, Paul Jefferies plays double bass and bass guitar and Italian drummer Laura Klaine will complete the lineup.
