Fraka is a genre-blurring jazz fusion septet from across Europe. Their name-derived from "fracas", meaning an unruly argument-perfectly captures their electrifying, unpredictable energy.

At times dark and intense, at others radiant and precise, Fraka’s sound is defined by lush psychedelic textures, bold horn melodies, and deep, hypnotic grooves. Drawing from afrobeat, broken beat, highlife, and hip-hop, they embrace jazz’s improvisational spirit while keeping the dancefloor in mind.

Their residency at The Forge at The Lower Third kicks off on March 29th, with a DJ set keeping the energy high until late. Bring your instrument if you would like to get involved in the jam!
