Papa Steve, Papa Ryan and Papa Rob met when the circus came to town in Harlow in 2004. Circus theatricality and Rock music were the perfect marriage for this band. After a slot at Glastonbury festival, Uk shows the band have built a solid reputation as an exciting live act. Black Lounge a dynamic 4-piece rock band with influences ranging from Arctic Monkeys and Pink Floyd to Wunderhorse.
While their sound draws inspiration from these legends, Black Lounge has carved out a distinct identity with their own unique style. Known for their explosive vocals, catchy melodies, and memorable lyrics, the band is incredibly engaging, feeding off the crowd’s energy and delivering unforgettable performances.
Black Lounge are rapidly making a name for themselves, playing sold-out shows across Essex and London, including iconic venues like Dublin Castle and O2 Academies. With a Northern tour scheduled for May, their momentum shows no signs of slowing down. Their music has even crossed genres, with house DJ Max Dean taking their hit song ‘Bickering’ around the world, introducing Black Lounge’s sound to the global house scene.
