The play is set in 2005 when Royal Ascot relocated to York racecourse ! Work, love and life are just one hard slog for the 4 women who work together in a fish factory. Pearl is due to retire and has always wanted to go to Ladies' Day, so they decide to swap their overalls for glad rags and head to the races. A day of highs, lows, laughter and champagne! This play is full of Yorkshire heart and soul.
